5.4 PTR: New Rare Spawns, Pirates and Events

The ruined Dread Ship Vazuvius lies to the south of Pi'jiu Village. It's overrun by Verfluchter Matrose der Ho-zen, who are guarding a treasure chest that contains . They drop the Mit Seepocken überzogener Schlüssel which is needed to open the chest.

In the south-east coastal waters, players can help defend a group of spectral pirates led by Kapitän Zvezdan against undead enemies. If you kill the final boss, Klapperknochen, you'll get a special vanity item that summons spectral pirates, Kapitän Zvezdans verlorenes Bein.

Located between the Alliance and Horde bases is Blackguard's Forgotten Cove. These spectral pirates are hostile and closely guard a treasure chest that can be looted once a week and contain coins and BoA items. After you loot the chests, the Rare Spawn are friendly and stand around the treasure chest cheering.

The Rare Spawn can be farmed for Spektraler Grog which creates a spectral pirate disguise. Don't loot Schwarzwaches Strandgut if you want to farm this item, as the pirates will turn friendly after you do.

Tiefenschlund is a rare spawn that swims around the Zeitlose Insel very quickly. He drops a Nebelgefüllte Geistlaterne, which can be used to summon the Schreckensschiff Vazuvius at the Cursed Graveyard by the Misty Shore. It summons a ship with 170 million HP and constant cannon-fire. The ship drops Reif des zeitverlorenen Seefahrers, which turns players into pink spectral pirates as well as their mounts.

Stinkezopf spawns on the ship by the shores of the Croaking Hollow. He's surrounded by Südseefeuerbräu that buff stats and heal you, as well as Südseebrandschatzer.
