I have a quick question regarding macros. I want to add /stopcast to all my normal spells (Fireball, Pyroblast, etc.), but to do this requires a macro. No problem!
/stopcast
/cast Fireball
Is simple enough. However, I also want to display the normal Fireball/Pyroblast/whatever icon, AND display the normal tooltip. Basically, I want my macro to look just like a normal Fireball spell, except that I've added /stopcast to it. Is there anyway of doing this?

What he said.
I take it you already have a castbar with latency indicator?

Oh, thanks! Just one (well, two...) more questions: how do I get rid of the "Fireball" text that appears at the bottom of my macro when I place it in my actionbar (aka. the macro name that appears). Secondly, does it automatically use the highest rank of Fireball?
Oh, and yes, I use Quartz.

The fireball text is referring to the name of the macro, I'm not sure if there's away to remove that - I'd have to look that up.
And yes, if nothings specificed it will use the highest rank of a spell. You can however to be sure, while writing your macro, open the spellbook and shift+click the spell to make it enter it with rank. Or you can type it yourself

Not as far as I know, just skimmed the options quickly.
I've "always" used Quartz though.

You can also use "#show Fireball" with the "?" (question mark) icon, which will show the Fireball image and the Fireball text, I believe.
Unless I'm misinterpreting what you're looking for!

You can also just use:
#showtooltipwith no spell name and it will pick whatever spell it should pick.
If you use that on a castsequence macro, it will change the tooltip based on whatever spell in the sequence it is currently on.
And, as xinax said, if you use the ? icon, it will update that too.

Well, if you want to get rid of the text on actionbars, the most simple way is to name the macro " " (a single blank space). You can also get a bar mod or change the interface options that way... I think. Ages since I've used the default UI myself. =P

One final question:
My Flash of Light and Holy Light are macro'd with /stopcast. However, sometimes I need to heal myself without de-selecting my current target. Normally, I just hold down alt and press the action key, but it does not work with the macro. How do I create a macro like that?
Once again, thanks for all the help, and sorry for all my questions. I'm a bit of a Macro-newb...

/stopcasting
/cast Holy Light; Holy Light
I think :).
