Dressing Room - "Character needs more clothes"

Heyo,

I was wondering why you can't save an outfit if you don't have an appearance in the specific clothing slot? you can remove armor pieces via transmog, so why not allow that in the dressing room? or perhaps there has been made a work around for this?
