He is an interesting mob though. Higher level than the ogres around him, and he has a rot aura, a slowing poison, and a deadly poison attack.

He is tough, I opened with cat and bleeds then into bear...still he took a lot out of me. He only dropped 1s86c. I feel cheated with how hard he was to kill.

According to the official Warcraft Atlas, this mob is rated Very Rare with a respawn timer of ~32-48 hours.

Dropped 1s94c, worth 667xp (+111 rested) solo as a 44 shadow priest. For that long of a respawn timer you'd think he'd have some decent loot :/

this guy had over 6k hp, I beat him on my 38 lock was a long but fun fight, he dropped nothing but coin and a grey ><

Soloed as 40 rogue, dropped money...

Really don't bother with this guy unless you want exp and even if you do go farm the other ogres. Well the trick is to stun him every possible second you can, he hits fairly hard and has poisons which are easy to kick or gouge.

Just soloed as a lvl 41 rogue very easy, only dropped 2 mageweave 4s and a lesser mana potion though :<

Is this mob part of a Q? Because he is like 6 levels above the other ogres around him and he acts completely different (spamming poisons and diseases).

Just killed him at 19,64 so i can confirm he does indeed exist.

Level 42, spams dieases, poisions, and has 5800 hp compared to the other ogres around him, that have 3500 casters and 4100 melee.

Dropped just coins, no loot, what so ever, 4s 80c, blah, not worth the time.

seen him today he is indeed a rare spawn at 19.65 and he droped a single silk cloth... so much for rare spawns have better loot

NO! There is nothing for you here but death, pain, and failure. The ogre that you seek is back the way you came.

If you went in here thinking, "Wow! This ogre is 6 levels above everyone else, is an Elite AND a RARE? He must drop some really good loot!" You will be very disappointed. He not only doesn't drop anything useful (gave me silver and some silk cloth) but he actually punishes the player for killing him. To call him a useless rare is an understatement; he is a detriment to your time. The way he punishes the player is by taking forever to kill, utilizing your valuable cooldowns that could be used for other elites that will progress you in questlines, and sometimes he may kill you and cost you money instead. At least give him some rare item that he drops. Blizzard should be ashamed of themselves.
