Well now...a weapon like this would most likely be suitable for a 29 twink druid, mainly because only the stats play into the dps, and not the min/max damage or speed of the weapon, correct? Not that I think there would be many twink druids around that level, I see more of a 39 bracket (cheetah form for WSG).

The Golden Iron Destroyer firmly occupies the middle ground between the Solid Iron Maul and the Massive Iron Axe.

Overall it's a nice piece of gear with good DPS, good stat bonuses, and most notably quite a high speed for a 2-handed weapon. However it is much less common than either of the other two weapons I mentioned above for a number of reasons.

First of all the plans are drop only, and not all smiths care to shell out cash for overpriced schematics on the AH. Second, unlike its cousins the Destroyer requires rare ore *and* gemstones to construct. Lesser moonstones aren't the most expensive gems out there but they don't drop all that often and buying them at auction does cut into profit margins. Finally if a player is already using a Solid Iron Maul and is a smith or is friends with one, he may not be inclined to acquire a Destroyer when he can get a Massive Iron Axe only a few levels later anyway.

That being said the Destroyer is a perfectly good weapon in its own right, and if you are in a position to acquire one it will serve you well.

While this maul is really, really good, the solid Iron maul is better for most pallys because it is slower and therefore SoC procs at a higher rate.

I hate myself.

This dropped for me off a Kurzen Medicine Man in Stranglethorn Vale the other day, and being only lvl 33 I had no use for it, so I sold it.

...quite simply. It's incredible for my shaman(who is Parry-specced, working on NS/Parry for now) as it's fast enough to land a lot of crits and Windfury-crits. And it looks incredibly cool, too.

this is a good mace, ive been using it since lvl 29, added a +7dmg to it too. now im a lvl 34 NE druid and this thing STILL comes in handy, if im not using my sliverblade, im using this. NICE WEAPON.

I'm going to make one of these with my blacksmith warrior as soon as I reach lvl 29. I'm planning on putting an iron counterweight on it, or maybe an enchant if I feel like forking out the money. This weapon looks awesome, and the mats aren't THAT hard to get...might make one for my paladin too.

He probably meant a weapon speed with a .75 at the end, like this one has(2.75). I myself haven't seen many if any with that speed, not that it's important in the least, but don't jump down people's throat for making an error in typing or being slightly vague.
IMO this is a very nice 2hander for the level. If your leveling up fast then I suggest giving this weapon a shot for 2 or 3 levels. Save yourself trouble and time getting Corpsemaker from RFK or money getting a Dense Triangle Mace or something similar off the AH, unless you plan to Twink out your character, then by all means help yourself to your realm's selection of extremely pricey substitutes.
It has an easy mat list! The 10 Iron, 4 Gold, 2 Lesser Moonstones and the Grinding stone are obtainable by mining in zones of your level(I suggest Arathi or STV myself), then like all weapons you are required to track down some leather and buy some flux...hardly a crisis, but if you're a cheap-skate try picking up fishing and fish in "Wreckage" zones to get the leather(I know it's weird but it works, they are in miniature chests that you catch).
I got this mace after using Solid Iron Maul for 3 levels, this mace is far superior even though it only has a 1-point-something dps difference. It has a much faster attack speed and the stats are very nice, 12 Strength and 4 Stamina as opposed to the Maul's +12 Stamina. It works great with my arms specc'd warrior and I've made several for Pallys and strangely enough a druid(he said it had great stats for his tanking set), so atleast you can sell these. It's well worth buying this pattern off AH if you can find it for less than 2g. Plus did I mention it looks pretty sweet >=D. Anywho happy hunting fellas.

i got this today from a blacksmith and i find it very good. it does like 90 damage without rockbiter. its way bettere then my Beazel's Basher

very nice mace, looks awesome and is surprisingly fast and still has a very decent damage per hit, giving it a very awesome dps.

i heard it was downgraded to be held by lower lvls before its lvl 29 req? considering its quite amasing stats it should be blue rather than green, its damn good mace considering itsa greeny, it would be a dam good mace even if it was blue.

bought for 3g :P

see im a 27 turen warior. and on horde i odnt vae to share maces with pallys so i like 2h maces and axes. so i want to use this but corpsemaker is same lvl and stsas but is btter over all. i might make just to have.

This is a real nice mace, my paladin used this for ages. i never did the hammer quest so i was stuck with this ^^
