Comparable to Stalker's Helmet of Second Sight or Malefactor's Eyepatch for a hunter, although the Stalker's Helmet is generally considered the best because of its sockets and the dps focus.
If it comes down to it hunters, vendor this and get
, this only has 9 more ranged AP and 1 more stamina.
And considering the fact that one of those gems costs 8 spirit shards and the other is crafted (which you have to pay for unless you know a nice jewelcrafter), the extra 9 AP and 1 stamina isn't worth it.
Plus, this vendors for more, so yea.

Good and easy Enhancement Shaman and Hunter headpiece. Sweet stuff for the difficulty.
wow this is a nice helm :)
I don't know why there aren't many posts about this helm. This is actually one of the best blue helm for hunters or enhancement shaman. Maybe because it is too easy to get i guess. No rep grinding required, and killing the end boss in one of the easiest instances in the outland is just a piece of cake. Try compare this with hunter's beastlord helm, very similar in stats. Compare this with shaman's desolation helm, way BETTER!
isnt pie just great!
earthwarden's coif or
for a hunter.. inc. the gem slots
Yes the second sight helm is much better for a hunter--actually with the right gems, it's as good as an epic. I got the Earthwarden's and put the Nature resist glyph on it to replace my Bloomsprout headpiece in my NR set.
as i see it this helm is a nice piece that affords you a little time on a beast master before you do
to get the beast lord helm. beast lord has better stats,(
) including 50 AP, and of course having this helm wont give the much sought-after
(4)set bonus but Mechanar is a lot tougher than the steavaults.
the alternative for me was the kurenai rep helm which is a hell of a grind, unless you plan on getting a talbuk mount as well.
Did u know that we spend 90% of our time rolling around in the bottom 4 layers!
