A very nice weapon, but a little too slow for an offhand. For any DW class other than hunter, there are better weapons to get for your offhand that are faster. With the new patch, I suggest you get the main hand version of this and the 1h dagger or the quickblade.

As of patch 2.0.1, this item now costs 22,500 Honor Points and 40 Arathi Basin Marks of Honor. And no longer requires Grand Marshal.

If the attack speed was faster, I could see using this for a rogue with fist specialization. This weapon may have been purposefully made for hunters or warriors. A weapon this slow isn't as viable for a rogue who must dish out as much damage as possible in a short amount of time.

Fist weapons are very good for rogues, not a lot of people see this. Fists are the best if a rogue wants the most from his offhand. I have tried this out on an undead rogue using s&d , the damage is insane even in pvp.

It's a great rogue weapon in main hand (the right hand fist), but generally you want a faster offhand for more poison applications, as it can be a significant increase in DPS. Although in the expansion with the new poisons it might not matter quite as much.

Fists are some of the higher DPS weapons for raiding either way, as you are a Sinister strike build with +5% crit, which swords doesn't get the extra attack doesn't help as much, as it doesn't help to eviscerates crit more often like fists.

This is really good for any meelee class who likes to use fist weapons. Probably best used in the hands of a dps warrior or rogue. This pumps out a whole lotta damage with a sinister strike build.

After the recent honor "nerf" it takes a bit longer to achieve Grand Marshal Weapons. However, it still is fun to do :)

This is i believe one of the best shamans weapons in this level range,It is easy to obtain and the closest i have ever seen a one-handed weapon to having a 3.0 weapon speed.

As a hunter, with absolutely no bonuses to any types of weapon, I can't imagine NOT getting these fist weapons instead of a sword or axe or whatever. They're exactly the same, and you'll have a better trained unarmed skill for when you get disarmed. Plus fist weapons are just plain awesome.... I can't WAIT to get these, but that'll be a couple months.

All PvP rewards "require certain rank" BUT, the PvP honor rewards are based of you "Highest Rank" not your current... And yes, top 5% are the highest ranked..grand marshall, high warlord.. So if you spend forever getting the rank, go buy the weapon, and the items you want..and dont worry about it again, you can lose the rank, but still have AND use the items...Tested with the insignia of the horde.."Requires Grunt" I havent played in a month and now just a scout...I can use it just fine and remove and equip it :)

With off-hands, you want high speed (poison proc and more +dam from sharpning stones except elemental) and therefore this weapon isn't as good at the GM Dirk.

Maybe Warriors might use this, not sure about how their DW works.

i sure wish they had made that the same dps only a faster weapon that i could actually use as a combat rogue. oh well, forget these gm weapons tho. quest items ftw now.

it says "Grand Marshal's Left Hand Blade" but the picture to the left of the stats show it as a right hand weapon O_o

Nah... if you had to be Grand Marshal to use, then it wouldn't be worth having.

Be a Grand Marshal for the rewards, once you reach Grand Marshal status you'll be kicked off anyway by the next person.

Having to keep your rank up would be lame, no time to grind, group or anything, testing the weapons out to their true potential.
