Not really worth going out of your way to buy this. Unless you see it up for cheap, or have it drop, it really isn't that usefull. It has no stats except for the 66 Attack power when fighting undead, however around level 35 you really don't fight many, if any at all undead.

I bought this on a whim. Comparing it with the Bonebiter from the Scarlet Monastery quest that everyone should do as soon as possible, it actually does less damage against Undead than said Bonebiter. Don't waste your money on this.

Pretty much worthless. Dropped for me off a Gorilla near Booty Bay. Far better to just DE like I did or have a chanter do it for you, otherwise good luck selling this piece of crap.

This axe is perfect for RFD and such, where +66 attack power towards undead really pays off. I got this axe from a rock elemental in Badlands, just like a previous poster. Its on the AH as we speak, but i do wonder what it will sell for :P

Just bought this item for 7g 50s or so in AH, Very nice, before i was using Ver. fist for 2h, and Stalven's Reaper for 1h, so now i got a nice Set of Blue axes to kill with :) down to a VERY low 5g atm though.

-so i guess i will train it up while farming for money to get back up to were i was before i spent them on the 1h and 2h Axe.

I don't know if people still have questions about if this will have any impact on Undead Players. The answer is NO. Just like the Paladin's abilities Exocism and Turn Undead, this will only work on undead mobs.

My 2 copper: I think they should have made it so it applies to undead and demons. Would have made this more worthwhile.

...on statistics: Until an item have been found at least like 50 or 100 times ("kills", which means drops, here), the information found in % must be taken with a *huge* pinch of salt. An item can drop from, say the 5'th ever reported mob, and the drop rate will be listed as 20%. Then another thousand mobs will be killed, without a drop, and suddenly the item "has" a drop rate of 0.1%. If it drops from the next mob, the "drop rate" suddenly DOUBLED. Which, of course, is not true. As its a set and fixed drop rate, for real.

Point beging; taking any listed drop rate % as a fact, without large enough sample (ie amount of drops) is wrong.

Further, the reasoning "25% means Ill get it on the fourth mob" is way out the window. One cannot confuse expectancy value with the real outcome. Im not making the calculation for "real" now, but the probability that you'd get an item with 25% drop chance, within the first 4 killed mobs, is like 68% or something. Its in no way guaranteed :)

I'm a pally just turned lvl 35 and this is the most powerful wepaon i have ever owned. and since im a pally and specilize on undeads this is the best possible axe for me. I bought it for 11g at AH. By the way for all u players who are asking if the damage boost works on undead players it doesent not even my pally undead spells work on undeads :( just anted to clear that up for ya.

i have one and i am a lvl 49 hunter got it when i was 41 i had a +7 enchant put on it, and will probly keep it till i get something better but aint found it yet, works for me and i pvp all the time.

I found this off a Mistvale gorrila in STV which dazed me so i dimounted and killed the ***** and found the axe, im so glad it dazed me and caused me to dimount or i would have rode off into the distance and lost my axe :P ... anyways i sold this axe in the AH for 43 gold

This doesnt work on Undead the race you can play on because allthough they are called Undead and are "Zombies" they are still Humanoids E.G. if a hunter uses Track Humanoids they will see the Undead race on their minimap.

Hope this clears things up =D i want this axe! (just til 41 and i have dual wield :) )

Got it from AH for 15g.
I wanted it because it was big and cool
(( Yes, nothing more than that)).
I thought throwing a Icy enchant it would make it uber cool.
Well, guess what. It's ugly as hell now.
The enchant dosent glow all over the axe. it only gloves 3 places. Making it f up.
Will pring a screenshot how f ugly it is.

Well, it's a ok weapon for those who just hitted 35. There are alot better weapons to get around 35. That are cheaper and better. You wont be fighting undeads all the time, you will actually hardly attack undeads. Well, it might get handy in desolace. ((35 level arena with a couple of undead mobs)).

I got one of these off of a Cresting Exile (I believe that's what they're called) from that binding circle west of Hammerfall. I sold it because I was on the Whirlwind Axe quest at the time. I think I got about 10g for it. I haven't seen another in about 2 months time now. I hear it's pretty good to have when you go through SFK.

This is unfortunately completely worthless because at level 35 you will not fight undead. You just now outleveled SM Graveyard and the next undead you get to fight are level 42+ and that's just one quest (Zanzil). Then again nothing until WPL. By that time you could have bought a green weapon superior to this, e.g. a gigantic war axe or a Greater Maul. Man even a witchfury would be preferable.

if there were a significant number of undead mobs level 35-40, this weapon would be amazing.
