In almost every bg I join now on my hunter there is always at least 1 person who says just let horde win. I told them "Stfu and re roll horde" then one of them said that his main was a horde. Then I thought maybe but highy unlikely that we lose alot due to the horde who play alliance alts. Maybe they see it as "Farming Marks" and since they win all the time on there main they dont care but its not fair imo. Just earlier today in wsg we had 2/3 flags vs there hordes 0/3 and then our main healer and Flag carrier just basically said "F it" and just stopped going for flag and saying just let them win. Anyway i could be right, could be wrong just wanted to know what u guys thought.

Ive always felt it was the immense level of impatience with most alliance pvpers. They res in bunches of 2-3 and rambo thier way into the mob of 8 or so horde.
Basically the "hero" mentality alot of them have makes them easy kills. When they do finally stop rushing in they hesitate to make the first move for fear that thier shiny 100% health will drop and they will lose the buffs they just got.
Of course at 70 the horribly undergeared ones do nothing but talk trash and afk while farming tokens for thier S1 epics.

Think there are way too many factors of why Alliance seem to fail. I've played on both Alliance and Horde servers and the Horde just seem to have more responsibility. Maybe that's saying something about the average age level of Horde players, I dunno.
I find that on Alliance, PUGS generally just suck. It seems like kids just joining groups and abandoning them if they dont work out within the first few mins. They steamroll through instances even if they die so many times, never really improving. The bad players remain bad, and theres so many characters on alliance it doesn't matter. They will be able to find another group of suckers willing to take their character through instances.
Horde have less people playing and more credibility. If you suck, people generally know about it and wont group with you. I've had more success generally with anything PUG on Horde side, it just seems like the caliber of players is higher. They defend flags/towers, wait to go in as a group, and actually heal people.
If you don't believe me, try it out. The frustration level of playing on Horde side is much lower than Alliance. That and the queue times on Alliance are getting to be such a pain. The only reason I still play is because my brother and cousin are still there.

Alliance have never really recovered from pre-BC days when high end PvE gear meant PvP domination.
That and the outnumbering of Horde. Now that BGs even the odds in the field, its down to who has fewer idiots. Unfortunately, Alliance seem to lose that battle on a daily basis.
The grass may seem greener on the other side, but what if you have been to both sides? I think the majority of folks that HAVE played on both Alliance and Horde can relate.

I think it's because people who wanted to PVP chose horde in the beginning because of different attributes, but also because PVE players are usually more RP oriented, thereby wanting to play dwarfes, humans and gnomes. PVP might be more into being a badass character and not a whimpy gnome. Well, you get where I'm going at.
Then when a new player started to play, he got to play with other people who wants to win, and he learns quickly how you win, from the players who explain/show it. On Alliance side there probably were less of it, since PVEers didn't care for the Honor as much since their gear dropped from instances anyways. And this evolved so that now most horde players got it explained in the beginning how to play, and Alliance didn't - atleast not to the same extent. More players who don't know how to play "correctly" equals less education for newer players, and it's a downward spiral from here. Well, that's how I see it. (I play alliance and I don't enjoy it).
That's my 2c.
@draeneidennis:
And mages aren't underpowered? There are currently druids in 77 of the 100 top teams overall in 2s, and 3 mages in the same 100(two of them playing in the same team). Maby all mages are bad players and druids are better? :p

For the life of me, I can't figure out why Alliance don't fight on flags. They generally just cluster where the enemies are and just zerg them instead of protecting flags or even capturing them. The Alliance in a way fight more like a Horde than the Horde side does. Maybe its just the servers I'm on, but Alliance players generally just seek out where the action is instead of completing objectives.
To win a BG, you need to split up your team as well as both attack and defend points. You need at least one person to cap the flag while everyone else is fighting, and then defend that point for a period of time. Horde PUGS just seem to be able to grasp this concept while Alliance cannot. I keep seeing Alliance just ignore the flag while attacking or defending, and just storming off to fight the Horde. I use to be able to just ride past a flag on my Horde character and most of the time 3 out of 4 defenders would follow me. That would allow the other group to swoop in for the flag capture.
Some of these tactics just seem silly that the Alliance cannot understand this. It seems that they are like npcs, and that Horde are just KOS no matter where they are at and they will follow them to the worlds end to try to kill them.
