what's the point on casting spells if you have a melee transformation?
I totally agree with you, but i think that blizzard made it because of PvP, it also gives you 20% more damage done, but yeah.

I agree with you, this is going to be a mess up on MoP. So u want blizzard to remove the meta spell?

I like the idea of a mercenary class...or a class akin to the Predator in the movies or metroid.
This class would make total use of an array of arsenals.
Dual wielding guns/bows, bazooka type weapons...shoulder missiles... smoke bombs to blind the boss attack, flares as a distract...etc
If ever a class could wrap their arms around engineering...this would be the one.

Another class that just comes to mind could be Machinist class.
Think back to the first fight of Ulduar and how much fun that was.
Imagine making a bike or tank to fight in all the time or one spec that would let you make robots to fight...similar to hunter pets.
Talk about a perfect racial goblins were made for :P.
I know..that's off the deep end. But everything starts by putting an idea out there.

lol, ok then, so to you, the metamorph ability is essencial to demo warlocks? When did it ever became useful? forget pvp, that has already been discussed.

Um....often? The Metamorph increases spell damage for locks, the flame aura is nice for AOE packs(and for damage), and mix it with Felguard and Doomguard, you do a crap ton of damage. Also, it's a great skill for soloing; nothing like popping the form for the extra armour and just beating down some elite.

No, all specs shouldn't have it. And if you can't figure out how to use Meta to make your life easier well....that's up to you. I love my Metamorph form and use it as often as possible when I'm in instances or soloing; sure you can pull out the Voidwalker and just chip away at an Elite...or you go Meta, hit the aura, leap onto the thing, and just burn it down in no time flat. As for the Felguard/Doomguard combo, you do a lot more damage that way then you do with just an imp.

Your DH idea is still flawed, same as I said before.

I already gave you a perfect example of someone in lvl 50+ playing as demo warlock, without heirlooms, soloing a boss. What could be easier than that? And you turn around and tell me I'm the one who doesn't know how to play, lolsSo, because you can solo a boss alone, that means the other pets aren't useful? Yeah, sure.

LOL, it's not all specs should have it, it's more like no spec should have it because it's a DH abilityBut it's not; or at least, it's not only a Demon Hunter's power, since quite a few of the RPG classes had the ability to transform into demons.

You just give me more reason when you say you love your metamorph and all the cool snazzy things it can do, but the point is you don't use it outside soloing, which means it isn't USEFUL after you hit lvl cap.Bull crap; Metamorph soloing was a lot of fun in Wrath days, as that's how I took down the Frostdrake daily for the AT; same as doing any of the other end game quests back then; if you could transform or make allies appear, the quests were done in no time, even if you were in junky greens.

And that's not what Blizzard wants for MoP right? Specs with more affinity to pvp than others? And since you can banish/fear/stun etc etc a Metamorphed lock in pvp, I'd say that ideal is wrong...and no where has Blizzard said that: Hell, most people that there isn't things for PVP in the new trees.

And I dont think you really know what your talking about because when you say that Felguard does more damage than Imp, you can only be talking about aoe damage. 1on1 imps are better.If you don't have Improved Imp, it's not that much more; I've seen more damage from the Guard on a lot of fights.

And also, you talk about going into the enemies face in meta form and kill it in no time as if meta gave you immortality lol. Please be reasonable. What happens if eventually you jumped into your enemy, and he was still alive after meta form expired eh?You Soul Shatter, let your pet pick it up again, and finish off whatever is left of it. And your right it doesn't give immunity, but with the Fire aura up, and hitting the thing harder, it's going to die fast.

And by the way, where is the flaw in my idea?Um...all of it? It's an over powered fan wank class with no weaknesses, nothing but kick ass idiotic moves, and hasn't been viable since you first posted it.

Still, a biased opinion.Oh yes, and yours is completely unbiased, uh huh.
you can banish/fear/stun if your a rogue, warlock/shaman/warrior, independentely of the spec. You can't use meta form in all specs of the warlock, when it's clearly a pvp directed ability.If you say so(it's not really).

Why woulnd't you have it then, noOB?Cause there are better choices to choose while being Demon spec'ed?

You miserable sod.Has nothing to do with my tastes in regards to Warlocks, and everything to do with the fact that all of your abilities are over powered and meant to make your Demon Hunter the only choice, since why would you pick any other class when you can play a physical god...as for your sod comment, very mature, way to make a point.

Ofc not, a spell that increases your armor by 6x, grants you reduced negative effects such as stun, reduces critical hit chance on YOURSELF. It's clearly meant for raiding lol. OH yeh, and in soloing its also keeeewl to use because of all that 20% increased damage that just kicks ass! Get over it.You get over it: it's not just for PVP, and it can be used in PVE.

well I'm not going to say it's perfect or even balanced with the other classes but I do know its not OP. Just give me one ability that in ur eyes is OP.All of them; your abilities have no down sides at all.
