**COMMENT UNDER CONSTRUCTION**

Azeroth is home to a wide variety of beasts. From the new world of Lordaeron to the old world of Kalimdor, all manner of creatures can be found. Some are friendly, some are ferocious and aggressive - yet they all have one thing in common. Each creature shares a special connection with Hunters. Hunters track, tame and slay all manner of animals and beasts found in the wilds. Whether they rely on bows or firearms, Hunters consider their weapons and pets to be their only true friends.

Hunter is a mostly ranged "pure" class, with traps, pets, and some melee capability.

Keep in mind the "Deadzone", the area between your melee abilities' maximum range and your ranged abilities' minimal range. In the deadzone, you can do practically nothing.

Weapon Proficiency and Weapon Skill:
Weapon Training eventually allows Hunters to have the following types of weapon proficiency:

Ranged - 自动射击
 弓 - ()
弩 - ()
枪械 - (), with training
投掷 - (投掷), with training

Weapon Skill is a measure of you capability with and knowledge of how to use a certain type of weapon, and your weapon skill with a weapon type increases the more you use that weapon type.
Higher Weapon Skill means a higher chance to hit with that Weapon Type.
You can find your Weapon Skills listed with your other Skills (e.g. professions) by hitting the (default) Keybinding K.

Available Armor Classes for Hunter:

皮甲 - equippable, best option until you train 锁甲
布甲 - equippable, not generally very helpful

Aspects:
Hunters can toggle Aspects that can aid them and their allies in battle or movement.

雄鹰守护 - increased Ranged AP
灵猴守护 - increased Dodge%
猎豹守护 - increased movement speed. Don't forget to toggle off Cheetah when it's not in use, or when you might be hit!
豹群守护 - increased group movement speed. Don't forget to toggle off Pack when it's not in use or when a group member might be hit!
野性守护 - increased Nature Resist for the group
野兽守护 - becomes untrackable

Tracking:
Hunters can toggle Tracking to track certain NPCs (and players) on the minimap.
--note: both friendly and unfriendly targets generally show up as red on the minimap.

Traps:
Traps can provide utility or damage.

Pets:
After level 10, and a series of quests, Hunters can tame many different types of beasts.
These beasts, pets when tamed, can tank or dps alongside the Hunter, allowing for great versatility in solo or group content.
You can use 野兽知识 to learn more about a potential pet, before you Tame.
Keep in mind that the beast has to be your level or below in order for you to tame it.

Pet Healing:
You can heal your pet in two main ways, though both take time to heal:

Feed your pet instant cast, but heals over time.

Make sure to keep a stock of level-appropriate food your pet likes, as lower level food is less effective.
Note that this is not available in combat. Only out of combat.

Cast Mend Pet, channeled spell, with a mana cost.

Pet Feeding, Happiness, Loyalty:

Don't forget to feed your pets!
Happiness levels from pet feedings can affect your pet's mood and dmg capability.
Your pet might run away if you leave it hungry too long.
Your pet also has "Loyalty" levels, obtained by gaining experience.
So keep your pet well-fed and as active as possible, in order to keep them as Happy and Loyal as possible.
You can check your pet's Happiness and Loyalty levels by opening your pet page. You can also find your pet's Happiness level beside its unit frame.

Pet Leveling and Experience:

Your pet can only be your level or below. It can't outlevel you.
You can't tame a beast that's higher level than you, and your pet can not level past your current level.

Pet Ability / Beast Training:

Found in your Spellbook, here you can find your pet abilities (and ranks) you've learned from your pet tames.

You have to already know a pet ability to teach it to your pets. You can learn abilities via taming and observing the use of the ability, or, for a handful of abilities, you learn via a pet trainer.
Taming a Pet and fighting alongside them a while, being sure to utilize the ability you wish to learn, will teach you the ability at whatever rank they have for it, allowing you to teach that rank to your other pets that can use them. When you learn the spell from your pet using it, it will show in chat in yellow text.
e.g. "You have learned a new spell: ."
You can use 训练野兽 to teach these abilities (and ranks) you've learned from your pets to your other pets that can use those abilities (each ability requires certain pet levels and pet families).
For example, a great go-to pet tame to learn Prowl Rank 3 for 豹s - 丛林猎豹 (can be found in Stranglethorn Vale).
Another example is the Wind Serpent 哈卡之子 for learning Lightning Breath (Rank 6); however, this mob is located in a raid instance.

HOW TO AQUIRE: TIER 2.5 LEGS

Gain Friendly reputation status with The 诺兹多姆的子嗣.
Accept your class quest from 坎多斯特拉兹 inside The Temple 安其拉 (AQ40). He's located in a side room just beyond 预言者斯克拉姆.
Kill 奥罗 and loot the Qiraji token: 巨型沙虫的皮.
Collect the right amount/type of Idols and Scarabs needed, either buy them from the auction house or loot from trash / 大型圣甲虫箱s.
Complete the quest!

Hunter Buffs - Auras and Buffs Will Properly Apply to Ranged Attack Power in WoW Classic Phase 6

Many helpful auras and buffs that improve Attack Power will properly apply to Ranged Attack Power in WoW Classic Phase 6, making 猎人s more viable!

With this change, World Buffs like 芬古斯的狂暴 and 屠龙者的咆哮 will benefit 猎人s, as well as the AP from the 萨满祭司 set bonus 图腾之力 and 圣骑士 set bonus 神圣能量, which both increase Attack Power by 140. While this is listed under the bugfix section of the patch notes, it's worth highlighting that this was never fixed in vanilla WoW.

Phase 6 also fixes 强化武器图腾, a bug that was documented in vanilla but not fixed until Burning Crusade. With both of these changes, we have to wonder if Classic Burning Crusade is on the way, leading Blizzard to depart from #nochanges to improve the game in future content patches.

纳克萨玛斯

Floating above the Plaguelands, the necropolis known as 纳克萨玛斯 serves as the seat of one of the Lich King’s most powerful officers, the dreaded lich 克尔苏加德. Horrors of the past and new terrors yet to be unleashed are gathering inside the necropolis as the Lich King’s servants prepare their assault. The Scourge marches again…

Please note: Raid testing in this PTR will be available only at designated times.

Items and Content

This patch includes the following new pursuits:

Being exalted with your 战歌峡谷 faction now offers epic-quality leg gear.
Crafted nature resist pieces are now available with 塞纳里奥议会 reputation.
Nature resist enchants for leg and head gear are now available from 祖尔格拉布.
Several skill books for new skill ranks (, 防护暗影结界, 烈焰震击, 造食术, 刺骨, 凶猛撕咬) are obtainable.
There are now PvP objectives in 希利苏斯 and 东瘟疫之地.
塞纳留斯指环 is available from 谦卑的馈赠. (Corrected) ~~An Epic nature resist ring is available from a quest to kill an Elemental Lord in Cenarion Hold.~~
The 银色黎明 token system offers a way for players to earn gear by turning in components at Light’s Hope Chapel.

Please note: The release of some items above may come before or after this patch.

Bug Fixes

Many helpful auras and buffs that improve Attack Power now properly apply to Ranged Attack Power.

Developers’ notes: This was an issue that was the result of a technical limitation in original World of Warcraft that was fixed in later updates to the game. During internal testing we discovered that this issue also affected the 圣骑士 and 萨满祭司 6-piece Tier 3 set bonuses, and in fixing that, we decided to also fix it in many other situations where buffs and auras should affect Ranged Attack Power.

Resolved an issue that caused the 暗月卡片：虚空 to sometimes stop functioning for 牧师s talented into 救赎之魂 after logging out and back into the game with the trinket equipped.
Resolved an issue that caused the 萨满祭司 talent 强化武器图腾 to not apply its damage improvements to other players in the 萨满祭司’s party.

Developers’ notes: This talent was introduced late in original World of Warcraft and behaved in this unintended way until the beginning of Burning Crusade. It was considered a bug at that time, and will now be resolved here, as was originally intended.

Fixed some terrain exploits in 藏宝海湾 that allowed players to grief players arriving or leaving via Flight Masters with no fear of reprisal from guards or other players.
Resolved an issue that caused the Mail recipient auto-complete filter to behave in a frustrating way when attempting to send a mail to someone who shares a similar name with a member of your current guild.
Stabling a pet with 潜伏 active no longer prevents other pets with 潜伏 from using the same ability.
Resolved an issue that caused a 猎人’s 自动射击 ability to occasionally experience a slight delay on recast if its cast was interrupted by 瞄准射击.

Additional bug fixes will be added in future builds of the 1.13.6 PTR. Please use the in-game bug report tool for any issues you encounter, and thank you for testing with us!

The following quests can be picked up from 工匠威尔海姆 at the Light's Hope Chapel in the 东瘟疫之地 by completing 奥玛里恩的手册 which you get from 大工匠奥玛里恩.
He's trapped in a cage in the first room of trash in the Deathknight Wing inside 纳克萨玛斯.
You will be able to choose from a total of 13 different patterns depending on your professions: 裁缝 (4), 制皮 (6) or 锻造 (3).
