You can use this ability near any special Elemental mining node. Doing so will "overload" it, which gives you an effect depending on the type of node:

Overload Molten Deposit - spawns a Furious Flame that drops extra random ore and Rousing Fire
Overload Hardened Deposit - spawns chunks of ore that you can mine for extra random ore and Rousing Earth
Overload Titan Deposit - opens a Titan-Touched Portal which you can use to travel to another nearby mining node (this is often buggy and might teleport you to where you already are or not spawn at all)
Overload Primal Deposit - will give you all the special elemental node buffs at double duration (4 min instead of 2 min)
Overload Infurious Deposit (War Mode only) - will cast a shockwave that knocks back enemies and gives you the Fury of Battle buff
Overload Metamorphic Deposit (Zaralek Caverns) - spawns five Metamorphic Spires nearby that drops extra random ore and Zaralek Glowspores; also gives you the Zaralek Glowbur buff

You will also get some Rousing elements when overloading a node depending on the type of node. For this reason, Titan-Touched is usually the best option if you are mining for profit.

The first time you overload a node you will also get 1 Dragon Isles Mining Knowledge, so it's worth doing at least once for each type.

The cooldown for this ability is 12 hours, but each time you mine a node it will get reduced by 30 minutes (more if you have specialized into the Mastering the Elements tree).

Mining any Primal node will also give you the short Explosive Elements buff that further increases the amount of cooldown reduction you get from mining nodes.

If you are a dual herbalist/miner, you can combine the new Zaralek Glowdust buff from Herbalism with Zaralek Glowbur from Mining to create Propagated Spore which contains even more Zaralek Glowspores.

The portal from overload Titan Node may send you to a huge pack of mobs

As far as I am concerned never waste overload on a titan-touch, Less then 20% of the time has it actually worked. Whether you overload before mining or after mining even if you wait, The TP will take you to the same node you are at 8/10 times. If it doesn't, You likely are gonna go 15 yards to that serevite node on your minimap. I go for molten or hardened usually.

I find using this on the Hardened node to be the best. You end up with 4 or 5 other nodes.

However you have to watch where the node is, because the split up nodes can be hard to find. For example one time it was on the side of a hill and the split nodes showed up on my mini map but I couldn't find them (I assume they were inside the hill). I also had a hard time finding them underwater.

Watch out when using the Titan portal. I was close to Nokhudon Hold and was ported to a node in the middle of 3 elites lol💀 (was able to escape tho)

This ability is bugged, sometimes it buff the node, sometimes it make the node disappear, the portal takes you to a random place i don't understand what is the point of it.

Mining these after using it no longer reduces the Cooldown

Recently been having an issue where sometimes overload goes on cooldown but I don't get any rousing order and the portal doesn't show up.
It's not constantly but it's pretty frustrating when it does happen.

Twice now I've had the overload cool down reset back to 12 hours after mining a node. Both times the cooldown was on 7 hours. The first time, I didn't notice which node I mined that reset the CD. The second time it was a plain serevite node. I was watching and as soon as it was mined, the CD reset back to 12 hours.

I learned the hard way, on my first time using this, to not use this on a node near the edge of a hill or cliff. It spawned the portal on the side of the hill and I could not get to it before it disappeared.

My is bugged once again.
I used it on a Primal deposit and now the Cooldown is stuck on 50 days.
I have mined over 2 hundred separate nodes and there has been no decrease in the Cooldown.

once in a while I use it and can see it proc but no result. This last time I could see it eject the little nodes, but they vanished. Other times it's like it gives you a second time at the main node, but it doesn't work.
