Way to go, devs. 30 minute timer. If you play a class that cannot remove curses - you'll have to sit on your hands for half an hour or just kill yourself, enjoy your patch.
And just so you don't get any ideas - Purification Potion will only remove one stack at a time. Because nothing says "We are sick of playing our mages and not feel important enough" like arbitrarily removing 2 portals from the game that have been there for years right before the expac that actually needs them and saddling people with dispellable pointless persistent out of combat nuisance mechanics that cannot be got rid of even with profession designed to take care out of combat of what healers can easily manage at will.
Way to go...

Worst debuff ever. The mob that applies it is mixed in with quest objective mobs, next to rares, and it applies the debuff stack over and over until you kill it. Tanks and healers beware pulling big like you're supposed to do because if you pull more than one of these and don't focus them first your corruption will stack to the moon. Take a few flight paths, watch some Netflix, or just spend some time fishing, because this debuff lasts longer than some of the holiday events. Oh, and don't think using your brand new legendary cloak designed to deal with this corruption stuff will remove the debuff on use, because it doesn't. Minus 50 dkp Blizz...

Okay, so this is incredibly annoying. Here's some useful information though.

1) The mobs are easily noticeable with a big, purple-black, pulsing aura around them even before engagement. Look out for them and you can avoid them.

Edit: eXeCUTor pointed out below they drop 10 Mementos each, which is super cool and I didn't realise!

2) On a DK at least, you can't kite them. The aura seems to be at least 30 yards. This page says 100, not sure if that's correct?

3) It's a curse, so it's dispellable. Although Purification Potion does indeed only remove one stack, Alchemist Hart in Boralus sells them for 25s a time. They trigger the potion cooldown, which is awful, but carrying around a stack isn't too bad.

Mages can use Remove Curse on themselves or a friend to dispel all stacks of this debuff.
Druids can do the trick too with Remove Corruption and Shamans with Cleanse Spirit.

Can't be dispelled with the Legendary cloak,even if it says "dispel any effects of n'zoths corruption"

So you've seen a "Corrupted..." mob, and hunted it down for those sweet, sweet Corrupted Mementos
Now you have some stacks of that pesky 30-minute Seething Corruption curse.

If you were wondering, no, the first on-use effect of Ashjra'kamas, Shroud of Resolve does NOT remove that curse.

The easiest solution is to find fellow players and ask for a quick decurse:

a Druid for Remove Corruption
a Mage for Remove Curse
a Shaman for Cleanse Spirit

But you have 2 other options.

First is Purification Potion, which can be bought from vendors, but only clears one stack of the curse.

Second is Mudwrap, which drops from several sources in Nazjatar. The item has 5 charges, removes all stacks and can also be found in one of the one-time-only chests in Nazjatar, like the one at 73.22 35.80. Another good bet are Algan mobs, wandering in the zone or spawned by quests for your followers in the zone.

Mudwrap won't work directly in the Vale and Uldum (it is locked to BfA zones), but other than hearthing out,

from the Vale, portals inside the faction Shrines take you to your faction portal room, and as soon as you get to a BfA zone, you can use it
from Uldum, you can fly to Magni's Encampment in Silithus, which has a portal back to BfA zones. You can take a flight path partway, from the Ramkahen to Oasis of Vir-Sar, which is on the Silithus border. If you find it hard to reach, use TomTom or similar and set your target coords to /way Silithus 42, 44.

The debuff can stack to 100, in case you were wondering.
Bad things happen when mobs start hitting you then ;)
