This is possibly related to the hidden power for demon hunters or the legion event. Out of nowhere I got a message in my chat saying I got some mysterious power. I received the debuff Frail Mind with 9 stacks and I got a new action bar with 5 buttons. I have highlighted this event on my twitch, see https://www.twitch.tv/tr1vs/v/71449618.

Turn Ally: This is the ability you use to lose your stacks. You have to channel this spell for 10 seconds, doing so will make you hostile to everyone.
Hysteria: Allows you to make a group of NPCs kill each other, doing so will make you hostile to everyone.
Illusionary Guise: You can change your appearance in any npc (including the stormwind king). Players will not be able to see whether you're a player or a npc. Your name changes to the npc. You still have your own weapons though, and double jump works.
Cloak of Darkness: Makes you invisible for 20 seconds.
Give into Darkness: You can become a dreadlord when you have lost all your Frail Mind stacks. Then you become a HUGE Dreadlord with 4 new abilities:

Vampiric Cleave: 3 sec cooldown spam ability, cleave everyone in front of you.
Shadow Madness: Mind Control someone and do 200% damage while having 200% hp.
Carrion Swarm: AoE spell with 500 yard range... everything dies.
Slumber Fog: This will spawn 3 green clouds on the floor and when you walk into it (watch out, you can walk in it yourself) it will put you to sleep for 3 seconds

Just in case you are thinking what I am thinking, no, Anduin is not easy to kill while you are a dread lord... But maybe if you take a few other dread lords? With two of us we couldn't kill him. Could barely scratch him.

Some alliance dingbat appeared with this buff at the xmog station in Org and killed pretty much everyone (me instantly) along with the xmog officer who was dead for five minutes... not funny.
