Рарник имеется, стоит в пещере.
НО как к нему попасть чтобы пульнуть хотя бы?

адд.Нашел все-таки способ как к нему попасть, по дейлику там дают бомбы, забегаете наверх, прыгаете на зеленую платформу, поворачиваетесь спиной к тому месту, где стоит Клык и кладете под себя бомбу.Взрывом вас забрасывает туда.

если нет дейлика, то есть другой способ. поставить себе нитроускорители и ждать пока он прокнет на подлет. встаем спиной к подъему, пулим червинта и нажимаем нитроускорители, если подбросило нажимаем отрыв, если нет, то убиваем моба и ждем кд)

А какое время респауна этого рарника, замерял кто-то? В пещеру зале, но моба этого там небыло.

Не знаю, какой у него кд, но долго думал как добраться, добрался так - запрыгнул на зеленую колону пред пещерой где он сидит, и стоя спиной к пещере, поставил бомбу, которую дают по дэйлику - вуаля )) выпал Сланцевый паучок

Много думал как к нему попасть, помог предложенный тут вариант с нитроускорителями, только вместо отпрыга (не родился хантом), было использован гоблинский рассовый Реактивный прыжок.

Для рогов не гоблинов есть вариант использовать Шаг сквозь тень на Глубинных пауков (ходят по пещере и иногда подходят к краю) в сочетании с всё теми же нитроускорителями.

P.S. Получил спутника несколько минут назад.

2 день на глазах этот паук и не могу никак к нему попасть. Пробовал нитроботы - невыходит. Может знает кто какие-нибудь предметы, которые откинуть-подкинуть могут высоко (кроме бомбы Рикет, ее нет)

Достал его сегодня, при весьма странных обстоятельствах. Пишет в приват маг, мол помоги, нужно рарника одного выцепить, нужен кот или рога, с него типа пет падает, будем ролить его вместе. Я за петами не гоняюсь, даже был не в курсе что за пет и с кого падает, ну думаю если сролю, хоть загоню на аук подороже, решаю помочь. Приходим на место, маг говорить чтобы я юзал зверинный рывок чтобы подняться, мучаемся минут 10, никак не получается, рядом тоже пыхтит какой-то хант, потом я вспоминаю все каражановские фишки, решаю сдохнуть, агрю червя для этого, дохну, светлячком поднимаюсь на уступ (и все таки в пещере летать можно), воскресаю (хант и маг ахреневают). Агрю моба, кладу его и лутаю в конце пещеры. И тут маг мне пишет что я должен был его подвести к краю. Хз зачем, ведь пет оказался БоП, белый, лидер - маг, стоял груплут, как его маг РОЛИТЬ собирался я хз. В итоге маг расстроеный без пета, а я чувствую себя каким то ниндзей..... петов в принципе не собираю.... помогал просто от скуки.....Тетрадка. Король-Лич.

хз как вы там летаете в духе, но только что умерла, реснулась, долетела до пещеры и там с маунта скинуло.
переместилась на кладбище, птичку не вернули.
второй трай: попыталась зайти а не залететь на маунте. та же фигня.
так что скорее именно на пиратках и можно://

Полностью солидарен... Сдох у возвышения, подлетаю к пещере дохлым, залетаю, метров 10 пролетаю и скидывает с летуна... Подземье..

PS: раза 3 пробовал по всякому, в итоге лицезрел, как хант со старым дейликом с помощью бомбы туда запрыгивает и убивает моба, которого я час пытался достать... Нихрена не весело.. Дурацкая игра..

Последовала совету с англоязычного форума. Загрузила инет кучей закачек + выдернула/включила провод на влете в пещеру. В итоге на маунте (живая, не мертвая) смогла долететь до пещеры где сидит паучок. Из-за жутких лагов и дисконекта меня не скинуло.

У меня такая история!
Я хантер пролетаю мимо этой пещеры и npc_scan дал мене знать что там какой то рарник. Я долго искал где он находится и всё таки понял ,но я до него не смог добраться до него добрался другой хант (гоблин) ,он использовал нитроускорители а как подлетел в воздух гоблинскую рассовую абилку реактивный прыжок и был там и убил его! Я тролль и сделал немножко по другому, я забил пвп знакомому возле этой пещеры, ударил его подлетел и использовал отрыв и оказался там)Удачного приручения и получения пета

Затамил сегодня это чудо. Сагрил червя предварительно раздевшись что б меня легче было убить и сдох под проемом. Прилетел духом и воскрес наверху. По пещере летал свободно.

Всё, написанное в данном сообщении, попадает под нарушение соглашения EULA World of Warcraft, а именно, "злоупотребление особенностями игровой механики и манипуляция потоками данных"

Если нет квеста с бомбами, взять можно все равно: вот как

Способ основан на создании искусственного сетевого "Лага", то есть вызывания огромной задержки такой длительности, что вас еще не выкидывает, но лагает настолько, что команда "Убрать маунта" с сервера проходит с задержкой, достаточной, чтобы долететь по пещере до платформы с мобом
Искуственного лага можно достичь, кроме описанного способа, загрузив канал "по полной", например, torrent-ами или ограничив скорость программой TMeter. Описанный ниже способ довольно привередливый и рассчитан на понимание и "шестое чувство" человека, хорошо знакомого с сетями

Способ не честный
Способ для тех, у кого дома роутеры Ethernet без VPN\с быстрым переподключением VPN
Начинаете полет на флайт-маунте с начала пещеры. Пролетая между первой комнатой и кольцевым коридором с червяком, до того, как вас скинет с маунта, вырываете из роутера сетевой кабель WAN. Вас не скидывает с маунта т.к. связи с сервером нет (но игра еще этого не поняла). Как только приблизились к пещере, нужно воткнуть кабель назад. Игра посличтает разрыв слишком коротким и не выкинет вас с сервера - вы останетесь там, куда долетели, но с маунта вас скинет как только связь установится. Чем короче разрыв, тем меньше вероятность что вас выкинет с сервера и соединение не восстановится. Проверить наличие связи можно любой моментальной абилкой (например, баффнуться). Если каст пройдет, значит все в порядке, можете убивать моба.

Информация про его респаун через 6-9 часов не верная, сегодня просидел в пещере 9,5 часов....ужас.....там респятся 3 Глубинных паука и 1 Багровый сланцевый паучонок.....прибегала куча соперников но Клыка так и не было.( сидел с 21.00 по 06.30. мск, Азурегос)

Щас добыл так же как описано выше:
1. Загрузил интернет канал торрентом по полной.
2. Залетая в пещеру (управляя мышкой в полёте одной рукой), другой рукой раза 2-3 пока летел, выдёргивал сетевой кабель на секунду, и вставлял обратно....
3. Долетел, вставил кабель, вырубил торрент. Дал игре подумать и вуаля))

1го пропустил, пока залазил его вальнул какой то пал, забил и пошел спать, перса бросил на этом утесе

Не знаю как вы шнур вытаскиваете,как канал грузите. Все перепробывал,клиент моментально выкидывает в меню логина и пароля,прописав при этом дисконет с сервером,загрузка канала тоже мало чем помогает,тупо дизмаунтит при влете в пещеру

Зачем так сложно? Если смотрите на эту дырку, где пет сидит, то нужен туннель справа от неё. Забегаете на край туннеля, встаете спиной к желаемому пету и юзаете бомбочку.

Сделал без бомб. Разгон на маунте + расовый прыжок + ШС в паучка. Но надо подобрать момент, иначе не прокатит.

Поймал сегодня на ЯЛе в 4.00 утра по МСК
Делал так: Прочитал все доступные способы поимки данного рарника и понял что мне не 1н не подходит - квеста в этот день не было, я не найт-эльф, я не гоблин/вар/рог а таурен дру, да и кабеля нету (WiFi). Однако сделал соло) Помог последний способ. Сделал по принципу обрыва соединения так - Во-первых надо включить режим окна, потом на флае (форма птицы, хотя не имеет значения) подлетел к входу в пещеру и выставил направление так, чтобы половина пути была по прямой и нажал NumLock. Тут же быстро в правом-нижнем углу экрана прервал соединение с интернетом. Опять перешёл в вов и начал управлять полётом маунта. Сделав все виражи и когда остался полёт по прямой (в пещеру к Клыку) - быстро включил инернет (Соединение) и опять в вов. Тормазнул маунта на уступе и стал ждать проявления коннекта. И тааааадааааам! интернет появился и я внутри! Всё довольно легко но есть 2 основные вещи - время полёта в дисконнекте должно быть минимальным и количество действий тоже по минимуму (подлетел к краю и остановился), тогда ваш шанс быть выкинутыми из игры стремиться к нулю!

Встретил ночью... Поскольку квеста, инжи, нужных рассовых абил не было... Манипуляции с кабелем не помогли... Долго думал как можно получить этого пета другим путем. Через 10 минут в инете нашел чудо прогу TMeter благодаря которой можно поставить ограничение на скорость интернета сводя ее в 0 не теряя соеденения с сервером. Еще минут 10 ушло что бы разобраться в ней... Так вот опишу мини интрукцию... Качаем прогу с офф сайта, ставим, перезагружаем комп... При юзе проги у вас появится окошко подключение... Тупо жмем ОК. И вы в проге... Теперь заходим в Сетевые адаптеры и напротив вашей сетевухи (где написан ваш IP) ставим галочку. Далее заходим в Набор фильтров и создаем новый фильтр или меняем стандартный (я создавал новый). При создании нового в 1й вкладке жмете Добавить правило и вводите любое название, принять. Зайдите сразу во 2ю вкладку(это еще понадобится). Далее.. Заходим в игру... Сидя на флае в воздухе находимся перед пещерой. Возвращаемся в прогу... В фильтры (в ту вторую вкладку) и ставим галочку Ограничение скорости и трафика... Чуть ниже пишем 1 в разделе кб/c ) и так наш интернет стал не играбелен, но соеденение сохранил. Идем опять в игру и спокойно долетаем до рарника без дисконов и сбрасываний... Идем опять в прогу и в ограничении скорости поднимаем скорость до 10 кб/c. Почему до 10и? Да потому что если сразу убрать ограничение то нас откинет в начало пещеры. (у меня так было). Как только мобы и рарник прогрузятся и вы их увидете знач всё норм. Можно убрать фильтр и снять ограничение скорости(думаю разберетесь)... Убить спокойно и уйти радуясь вашим успехам. Текста в этом посте много, но делов на самом деле на 10 минут. Я так получил пета без квеста и прочих хитростей.

Добратся крайне сложно. Помогла программка TMeter по совету от GMART.
Небольшое дополнение к его посту - комп перезагружать не обязательно(это сэкономит драгоценные минуты, если вы начнете качать прогу сразу после обнаружения, как и я) Ограничения в 1кб мне почему то не хватило, сбрасывало с маунта за 5-10 метров до заветного места;( пришлось дополнительно включить закачку в ДМ.
Если вы хант то лучше сначала его затамить - как обычный спутник он слишком мелкий и не приметный(
Зона обнаружения примерно 20м над пещерой.

Сегодня убил в 17:45 по мск . Все очень просто начинал полет с начала пещеры выдирал кабель интернета и долетал до рарника ! Ходил за ним по 2 - 3 раза в день по 5 минут ждал его ! Как питомец он не очень маленький не разглядеть его толком Эонакс лучше ))

Решил руды пофармить твинком, лечу, адон раз - рарник!
Думаю, в пещере гад сидит! Он в выемке оказался, обычными методами туда не попасть!
Сегодня как раз был дейлик на бомбы! Зашел мейном спустя минут 10 гдето, пока вычитал тут, как туда залезть! Взял дейлик, подошел к уступу, повернулся спиной к верхнему уступу, кликнул на бомбу и я там=)

Дальше дело техники: 100к у моба, бьет по 5к за удар, спец абилка бьет оч быстро, но можно отойти и все!

Недавно убил его.
Вариант с шейпингом трафика не сработал из за "особенностей" системы, с выдергиванием кабеля тоже - так-как клиент моментально вылетал в главное меню.
Но обладая не самым быстрым интернетом можно поставить на скачку в торренте пару файлов чтоб забить канал и подождать возле входа в пещеру минутку пока не поднимется пинг (у меня было 5к+), затем открываем окно информации о персонаже и идем во вкладку "наборы вещей", выносим иконки наборов на панель действий и залетая в пещеру быстро переключаемся между ними.
Долетаем до его пещерки и останавливаем скачивание файлов, через минуту пинг спадет и игровой мир прогрузится а вы будете стоять рядом с паучком.

я таки его убил... пробовал и дергать провод, и ставить прогу (которая у меня ничего вообще не сделала - как был пинг 45 так и остался), и торентом нагружать - ничего не помогало

помог согильдиец - зашел альтом НЭ (благо у него он оказался, ибо в онлайне нас было всего 2е), я его дождался (так как "все сюда" уже был на кд), он благополучно умер (приятно было смотреть как умирает маг :))) ), залетел духом на балкон, реснулся и засумонил туда меня :)

хух. -1 проблемой в вове...

всем удачи не столько с нахождением рарника а сколько с "запрыгиванием" на этот .... балкон

Из личного опыта. Дейлики для каждого персонажа в Подземье разные. На балкон к рарнику попасть помогли торрент+ выдергивание сетевого кабеля на сек 8, при маленьком пинге дисконектает сразу. Убил 1й раз в 4 утра, 2й раз другим персонажем в 12.30, так что респ у рарника, наверно 6-12 часов. И так как питомец "персональный при поднятии" конкурентов практически нету.

Забрался я таки в ету пещерку, методом отключения кабеля(роутер под рукой) выдергивал кабель с интервалом в 1-2 секунды, с 3 раза получилось(были вылеты). Пока Клыка не поймал, сижу жду, прожду пока не поймаю.

Да и еще, О великий Вовхед помоги мне поймать Нефритового клыка!

Добавлено: Поймал спустя практически 10 часов(постоянно сидел на точке, с перекурами по 3 минуты). За 20 минут до клыка, реснулся сундук.

Первый раз нашла его немного проще раза 3 залетела в пещеру и на 3-й он какраз был там.убила получив спутника.Так как я играю хантом то решила ещё и приручить его.Ето оказалось уже немного сложнее.гдето неделю по 5 раз в день туда залетала....всё небыло.Но вот вчера приручила.очень довольна)))(Феличита..Дракономор)

Сегодня утром сотворил дело)
таймить пока не стал,ничего примечательного,а спут прикольный.
Идея с вытаскиванием кабеля WAN( не путайте с питанием! =D) просто замечательна!
Действительно, торрент сильно тормозит игру,заметил это ещё давно.
Суть не в том ,чтобы прервать соединение,а в том,чтобы сделать задержку.
мне хватило 3500 -оптимально! Я говорю про глобальную-она в этом деле кэп.
и только когда задержку получил полетел в пещерку)
Учтите, при более чем 4500 выкидывает из игры обычно спустя 10сек.

Рарника обнаружил сегодня (15.07) в 18:15 по Москве. Ждал его целых 2 недели и ночью и днём, параллельно ходил на бг. Затем 3 дня назад забил на эту пустую трату времени, так как ресается он крайне редко судя по всему.. ЯЛ Не гоблин и не инженер, поэтому взял квест на бомбы и периодически залетал в пещеру проверить моба. Встретил его в 20.00, пока собирался рейд, странно, что нпсскан промолчал, обычно он орет как резаный. Если кто знает как чистить кеш ему, подскажите.

Делал дейлики в пещере, вдруг сработал _NPCScan. Долго не мог понять где сидит этот паук, пока не прочитал тут. Ради паука подключил ноут кабелем, залетел с первого раза. Убил 28.07.2011 в 15:18.

интернет-соединение разрывалось слишком резко, не хватало времени долететь до места.
качать прогу было лениво.
и тут меня осенило.
ведь с маунта сдергивает не сразу, даже при включенном инете!

итого:
садимся на маунта и летим по нужному маршруту до тех пор, пока не сбросит.
запоминаем приблизительное время полета и место, где он прерывается.
возвращаемся и летим заново, но на этот раз выдергиваем инет-кабель ИМЕННО до того места, как сбросит с маунта.
пролетаем остаток пути и включаем инет обратно.

таким образом не понадобится ни дополнительных нагрузок на сеть, ни специальных программ.
конечно, получится не с первого раза, но нервничать не надо. шанс встретить подготовленного конкурента невелик. я заполучила рарника средь бела дня. ;)

Согильдиец убил данного моба в 13 мск, я сел и просидел в альт-табе с включенным нпцсканом до 3 ночи по мск, получилось, что респ вышел 14 часов.

Я нашел самый легкий способ попасть к рарнику,если стоять лицом к платформе где находится Клык,то Вам надо на платформу что по правую руку. Встаете на самый край,по середине,разворачиваетесь к нужной нам платформе,ставите бомбу,делаете шаг вперед,чтоб она оказалась чуть сзади Вас. Взрыв и мы на месте! Не обращайте внимания на цветные камни,они не мешают.

Интересно раз во сколько часов у него рес....добралась туда таким образом. Пришла в центральный зал в стелсе. Там подошла насколько близко к самой высокой пещерке, возле нее дала себя убить червяку. Потом прилетела огоньком и залетела( ночной эльф) и реснулась. Вот теперь сижу кукую там пару часов. Жду рес рарника.

Сегодня заполучил этого питомца :)
Убил клыка примерно в 01:00, сервер Борейская тундра.до этого ждал несколько дней от 1го до 5 часов респауна и постоянно прилетал смотреть его... в итоге помогло самое просто перед выходом из игры оставался на месте респауна, на авось - повезёт, и правда, повезло :)
Незнаю, почему раскритиковали паучка, по мне так симпатичный питомец! Всем удачи в добыче этого питомца!

Летом караулила этого паука в месте воскрешения, где то с 13:00 дня до поздней ночи. Надоело, легла спать. После чего в 7 утра проверила - появился. Убила, спутник выпал. В течении охоты правда яростно меня материли охотники, приставали и любопытствовали "рарникоискатели". Сообщила одному из них, время убийства, человек так же реишл покараулить паука. Но ему повезло больше, ждал воскрешения на пару часов меньше в отличии от меня.

советую разобраться с программой заранее, потому что может получиться так как у меня получилось: npcscan показал нип, ну я давай сразу же программу качать, а она не работает у меня почему-то(компьютер перезагружал если что). Там уже 3 человека скопилось. Ну пока туда сюда и не успел. Советую другую программу использовать:

Вчера на ТС полвечера караулила Клыка, рядом со мной был БЭ вар. Потом мне ждать надоело, а вар остался, в итоге получил +1 пета :)

Насчет того чтобы попасть туда - думаю, достаточно 1 раз взять квест с бомбами у Рикет и просто не сдавать его пока не получишь то что тебе нужно. Запрыгиваю к Клыку из соседней пещерки, почти всегда выходит.

Квеста не было,нитроускорители за битый час ни разу не прокнули на взёлт,хотя юзал по кд Х_х всегда бы так.
Уже и пал конкурент появился,видимо,тоже ухищерния какие-то начал использовтаь,судя по зависающему изображению.В итоге 1 час нервотрёпки и пет мой^_^

Вариант с отключением интернета работает! Свернул игру в окно, как влетел в пещеру - отключил инет, долетел - включил. Сработало без проблем и с первого раза.

Умер возле уступа на который не получается запрыгнуть. Духом подлетел ко входу в пещеру. Выключил-включил вайфай кнопкой на ноутбуке. Быстро долетел до уступа, встал на краю и нажал кнопку воскрешения. Все. :)

Сегодня нашла это чудо. Я не ждала его специально, а так просто приходила на место реса несколько раз. Теперь бегаю со сланцевым паучком (он такое чудо!). Лучший способ взобратся на место реса - использовать бомбы (квест дает гоблинша в первом же зале пещеры, стоит с боку)

NPC_Scan исправно обнаружил рарника, добрался до пещеры с помощью бомб рикет.
Забейте на всякие там "колонны" и тд - с соседней дырки, с небольшим выступом, добраться проще простого, всегда с первой попытки запрыгиваю.
Сланцевый паучок теперь у меня.

Мой вариант после 2 часов запары с Тметром.
Доходим до столба,
агрим мобов,
умираем,
летим духом до входа в пещеру,
альтаб и заходим в оперу,
заходим там примерно на 10 внешних сайтов,
сразу же закрываем их все,
затем тыкаем ctrl+z раз 10,
бытсро альтаб и летим до клыка,
альтаб закрываем сайты, ресаемся и убиваем.

спасибо за коменты, вчера аддон закричал примерно в час ночи по мск, пока читал коменты как туда забраться он исчез или его убили , с третьей попытки удалось залететь туда друлем, нагрузил оперу , открыл 12 страничек пинг поднялся примерно до 1к, выдернул шнур 6 сек не больше , иначе просто дисконнект , квеста не было, пришлось помучиться немного, потом подумал зачем убивать и зашел на твинка ханта , залетел на место респа проверенным способом) оставил караулить, надеюсь сегодня приручить, всем спасибо за советы еще раз

Net Limiter - поставил галку напротив процесса World of Warcraft Retail в столбике DL Limit поставил галочку, в правом окне нажал Edit Rule, Limit = 1 B, зашел в игру и спокойно долетел, потом в проге убрал галочку, подождал пока прогрузится игра и готово..

Net Limiter реально намного проще в использовании,чем TMeter! Ненужно никаких настроев и все очень просто в использовании! Кто не читал пост выше упомянутого мной человека,то копирую:

Читаю коменты и реально ужасаюсь, я находил нефритового клыка уже раз 6 для согильдейцев, но чтобы выдергивать сетевой кабель, это надо догадаться... Самый простой способ взять на входе в пещеру квест "Подземная экономика". По этому квесту Вам дадут "Бомбы Рикет". Заходим в пещеру, заходим в большой круглый зал (там как раз и находится углубление где живет Нефритовый клык), в этом зале двигаемся прямо, придерживаясь правой стенки в следующий проход. В проходе двигаемся прямо и при первом же повороте налево - поворачиваем в него и двигаемся к балкончику (кто в курсе, это точно то место где стоит квестовый НИП для квеста "потерявшийся в глубинах"). Если пришли правильно, то с балкона виден вход в углубление, где живет "Клык", ставим бомбу Рикет, и становимся на нее таким образом, чтобы при взрыве, бомба отбрасывала нас прямо к "Клыку". Тут ничего сложного - пара траев, и бомба будет забрасывать Вас по прямому назначению. Всем удачи, и не издевайтесь над компьютерной техникой...

Это удивительная история,эмоций не хватает выразить...Лечу обморожение доделываю,а до выключения сервера всего 10мин,прошу человека что в пати тпшиться в подземье и сумонить меня,проверить клыка...и что-то подсказывает что он там...лечу успеваю,времени еще 1 минута...и тут нпс скан,я-довольный,но в первую оередь удивленный...думаю,блин не успею допрыгнуть,но успеваю,времени 15 секунд...и какой-то другой человек его убивает стоя на камне,который рядом!причем не знает как подняться,а я уже там!сервер отключается,все что успел увидеть - необысканый труп,а все что сказал - это:"смешно..."

Только что убила и получила вожделенного пета.
Забралась в пещеру и реснулась после смерти, благодаря таланту ночного эльфа.
Рарник был убит около 17.00 (я играла за мелких твинков и пропустила).
Уже собиралась спать, моб появился в 6.00. Итого время респа составило у меня 13 часов.
Время Мск, Голдринн.

Это издевательство чистой воды! Уже второй день этот рарник ресается на сд, но попасть к нему не могу (и не только я) квеста с бомбами нет, танцевать с бубном возле нета нет желания. Захожу хантом использую "орлиный глаз" - там он голубчик сидит. Кстате как питомец ханта он не так ценен, в локации полно таких пауков, той же окраски и другие есть окраски, а вот как источник спутника он ценен. Моему друиду как раз 2 не хватает до 150! Буду ждать появления квеста с бомбами. Время респа не столь велико как у других рарников так что можно поохотиться!

Ждала его ~4 часа.
Сидела смотрела фильм и ждала сигнала НПС скана. В итоге решила развернуть и проверить, мало ли. В итоге увидела его сидящим позади меня. Повезло, что рядом не было претендентов, а то бы я его проворонила.
Забиралась к нему на платформу при помощи бомб.

Стоял 2 часа и не кто не мог его убить так как без квеста забратся туда нельзя =)
за это время успел выграть 2 бг и сумонул половину прима =) и тож народ не смог взять над ним вверх ^_^ поднял всех науши и нашолся 1 человек который смог меня туда засумонить . я был так рад =)

Долго выслеживать практически не пришлось. Взял у НИПа на входе в пещеру бомбы, оставил себе и три дня каждый вечер прыгал в нишу рарника. Там включал поиск случайных БГ и пвпшился в свое удовольствие. В паузе после очередного боя рарник респнулся прямо передо мной. Дальше - забой и получение пета. Время - примерно 0.45 по Москве (по серваку - минус 2 часа). Сервер Галакронд.

Вчера 29.09.2012 около 7 часов мучился с тем как попасть к нему не имея квеста на бомбы.
1. у меня был ночной эльф друид на черном шраме, прилетел умер у пещеры, залетел духом и оставил ждать. (рарника на черном шраме не было)
У меня были все классы на подземье, думаю дай слетаю гляну. Прилетел увидел Рарника и началось:
2. Друидом Тауреном - чардж не работает в паучка.
3. Воином - Чардж не работает в паучка (Цель берет, дистанция хватает (Символ на + 5 метров к чарджу), Героический прыжок не работает на платформу к паучкам.
4. Магом не блинкуется в пещеру выше.
5. Паладином пробывал через разрыв соединения, до летаю, но когда подключаю инет меня откидывает на начало пещеры. Соединять быстро инет не получалось, причина - Аутификатор, просит каждый раз после подключения инета. Пробывал настроить прогу Tmetr но не смог она блокирует мое соединение с инетом не дает подключиться.
6. Хант инженер - пробывал и с камня отскакивать и с пещеры справа, бесполезно падает на 1 метр ниже чем вход к рарнику. Использовал Символ на увеличение отскока.
7. Варлок с Символом полетов Ока Килрога - в пещере не летает.
8. Рогой гоблином инженером с Шадоустепом - около 6 часов потратил на все виды прыжков, и с спринтом (с символом на 100% к скорости) и с поясным чантом на инженерские боты и гоблинским прыжком, и шадоустепом на крайнего паучка в прыжке - бесполезно пещера чуть выше нужного. Агрил паучка ракетницей, все равно не прыгает ему за спину. Пробовал гравитационный колодец - но не работает в пещере.
9. Привел друида Сову, сделали Дуель на камне и на Краю пещеры, пытались посадить грибы на край пещеры чтобы я на грибы Шадоустепнулся. Бесполезно ни где грибы не сажает, дистанция хватает, но грибы не сажает.
Вывод: Проблемы с Друидовским и Воинским Чарджем, а так же с грибами Совы - одна требуется находится на той плоскости куда вы хотите посадить гриб или переместится. Не знаю в каком патче это сделали. В общем Ад: Делается либо Ночным эльфом с полетом мертвым, Либо с Бомбой за квест.
10 - Победа: - в 00.00 примерно я решил глянуть что творится на Черном Шраме - Релогнулся - простоял очередь 1100 тел минут за 45. Вхожу и опа Рарник прямо передо мной : ) А в метре стоит Таурен Сова с Свежевателя Душ, может только попал, может друга ждал, может афкашил и в ожидание и отошел покурить. Не спросил он враг ) С агрил рарника убил и когда уже лутовал, пом не начал идти дамаг от Совы обидевшейся. В общем не стал с ним спорить я убежал. Привет Сове : ) Паучок выучен, больше я туда ни ногой. Это было Долгий кошмар для меня. (На ЧШ убит был примерно в 00.47 мск)
11. Кстати решил проверить остался ли рарник на Подземье, если я его только, что убил на Черном Шраме (Кросс локации и все имеют общие возможности). Релогнулся на рогу с подземья - увидел что Рарник на Подземье живой и не тронутый. Значит все таки у каждого своя карта и свои мобы, хоть и параллельные миры. Квеста на бомбы у меня не было, решил подождать когда будет замена квестов, в полтретьего зашел глянуть - но рарника уже не было. Пошел спать. (На Подземье был убит в районе 00.00 и до 2.30 ночи мск)

Помог способ обрыва соединения. Много попыток было пока не загрузил инет фильмами он-лайн и получил пинг 1500-2000. Лететь до первой комнаты, обрыв сети и лететь через ближний проход (навстречу движению червя) в пещеру залететь и перед попаданием в пещеру включать инет. Вывод - кратчайший маршрут и высокий пинг (загруженность интернета) - путь к успеху.

Ребят, есть способ на много проще, чем танцы с бубном у интернета или ожидание нипа с бомбами, проходите к "балкончику" где сидит паук, при это собирая по дороге всё, что может вас сожрать или хотя бы покусать, встаёте в плотную со стеной, где балкончик и ждёте пока вас сожрут. Когда ресаетесь - взлетаете духом и летите под потолком к телу, только ресаетесь не прям у тела, а уже на выступе, где сидит этот паучок.
Да, если вы 90 лвл, как я, то ещё один совет - разденьтесь перед "съедением", что б червям не пришлось сначала ковырять броню, как консервную банку, я одела платье, подождала, пока меня слопают черви, пожелав им приятного аппетита, духом взлетала на балкон и паук мой)

Нашёл лёгкий способ попасть на платформу, доступный только локам... повесить на себя "Камень Души" и с помощью "Символа Ока Килрогга" поставить "демонический круг" за текстуру скалы, прямо над платформой, где стоит рарник...
при телепортации персонаж проваливается под текстуру и падает прям на рарника, но к несчастью разбивается насмерть, для чего и нужен "Камень Души"...

Самый простой способ: умираете непосредственно перед входом на второй этаж к пауку, потом ресаетесь уже там (дух ведь летает и труп рядом). Дальше - дело техники ;)

Убит сегодня в 17-22 по серверному времени на сервере Вечная Песня. Через 12 часов вернется следующего охотника ждать :-)
Вчера взяла задание "Подземная экономика", квест не сдавала, приберегла бомбы в инвентаре. Сегодня поутру зашла в пещеру, поднялась на уступ, где обычно Камешек заблуждается, обернулась котом для сохранения здоровья. Поставила бомбу, перелетела на уступ, где Нефритовый клык живет, и ушла на работу.
Прихожу, включаю комп - а искомый паук уже здесь. Убила, только спустилась - и инет вылетел.

Убил рарника тоже через пинг, но не качал прогу которую предлагают.
Сконнектил через WiFi адаптер комп к инет и в момент когда начинаю залетать в пещеру выдергиваю Wan из роутера, вставляю его подлетая к балкону и все, мобы появились, рарник убит, пет у меня

Придумал ещё один способ. Для выполнения этого способа потребуется Перо Авианы (награда за квест в таверне 3-го лвла гарнизона) и гоблинский планер (покупаем на ауке). Становимся прямо под балконом, где стоит рарник, юзаем перо, подпрыгиваем к потолку, юзаем гоблинский планер, залетаем на балкон. Профит.

Решил слетать в Подземье (найти Эонакса) , заодно проверить респу Клыка. И да , npcscan проорал ,что он там есть.
Обитает в пещере (достаточно идти по правому краю и включить отображение имен союзников и нейтралов). На bdk убивается оч легко.

Только что получил паучка путём задержки в соединении.
1) Нашёл место на входе в пещеру где начинает спешивать
2) Завис в воздухе в метре от этой точки
3) Дёрнул кабель интернета
4) Полетел на балкончик к боссу
5) Воткнул кабель обратно, когда был почти на месте (секунды за 4-5)
Если вы прилетели, но нет мобов (чат при этом работает), то жмите alt+f4 и пробуйте ещё раз. Это значит вы слишком долго были в дисконнекте, в следуйщий раз попробуйте подключить кабель чуть-чуть пораньше. У меня получилось с третьего раза.

В английских видео на вовхэде можно посмотреть куда лететь.

Мутки с разрывами интернета не прокатили. Квеста нет (хотя при мне сегодня бегал дру с этим квестом). То ли раньше взял, то ли надо как-то разблокировать квест другими.
Сработал другой способ. Скажу сразу, годится он только для Ночных Эльфов. Почему? Дело в том, что после смерти НЭ превращается в светлячка, который МОЖЕТ летать по пещере (проверено!)
1) Заходим в пещеру и встаём возле выступа с Клыком.
2) Снимаем с себя все шмотки! У меня на 100 лвл получилось около 50 к здоровья
3) Агрим червяков, которые ползают по пещере рядом
4) Ждём, пока не сожрут. Меня бил один около 5 минут.
5) Светлячком летим к трупу и вуаля - можно воскреснуть на выступе с пауком.
Теперь осталось его дождаться :) Видела сегодня 2 раза, но никак не могла допереть, как к нему залезть :)

ВАЖНО: если попытаетесь спрыгнуть с маунта и разбиться над пещерой над уровнем рарника, то светлячок не сможет вернуться в тело, слишком далеко.

Пушка ярмарки Новолуния решает все .Установить на соседнем балконе напротив балкона рарника . Чуть тренировки и профит.Не забываем о КД на пушку 30 минут так что внимательней устанавливайте.Снизу не ставил не хотелось потом ждать 30 мин если не получиться.

Бомбы самый лучший способ попасть к рарнику! Ни один из четырех аддонов не просигналил, что рарник там сидит, пока я не поднялась на уступ. Так что запрыгивайте проверить, когда есть ежедневка "Подземная экономика" с бомбами.

Rare spawn shale spider found within the Crumbling Depths cave area of Deepholm. It is a level 85 with roughly 111k hp. There are some non-hostile spiders nearby, but they do not aggro or add when Jadefang is attacked, so it was easy to solo as a lvl 82 boomkin.

Most importantly, it drops the Tiny Shale Spider pet. I assume this is a 100% drop rate.

Note to Hunters: This rare spawn drops the Tiny Scale Spider vanity pet, so you will have to make a choice between taming or getting a vanity pet, since odds are good this mob will be camped for a very long time. =(

Unlocking Jadefang:
First and foremost, you are going to have to wait for a certain Therazane daily quest, specifically Underground Economy. The quest is given by a Goblin NPC named Ricket in the crumbling depths. The daily quest gives you an item called Ricket's Tickers and is used to explode crystals around the caves, then gather them.

The key is using this item and its side effect, which is mentioned by the NPC. To quote: "I've got a nasty habit of packin' the explosives a bit thick. Mind the kick.". For those who aren't sure what that means: its a massive knock back, you will go flying 30+ yards.

Tunnel Navigating to Jadefang:

Enter the Crumbling Depths, continue going straight, deeper into the crumbling depths.
Once you see the colossal gyreworm (level 85 elite, non-attackable) pathing, go right and follow the same direction the gyreworm is heading.
You will pass by one dead end tunnel before being in a large cave with many tunnels to choose from. Head into the far right tunnel.
Take your first left when it presents itself, it should dead end back in the big open cave area.
Looking in front of you, you should see a dark green crystal. To the far right you should see an elevated cave entrance (with a red glow inside) that is completely unreachable.
Now the fun part. Who is ready for some Goblin engineering fun? :D
You now have 2 options to get to Jadefang

Bomb Option #1 (Shorter Distance)

Mount up while at the dead end. Jump onto the dark green crystal infront of you. You must be mounted to make a jump onto the dark green crystal structure in front of you. (Other speed increasing methods may or may not work: rocket boots, sprint, etc.)
Once you've made it to the green block, face your back in the direction/angle that you wish to be hurled. Place Ricket's Tickers in front of you and watch yourself go flying like only a Goblin invention can make you (I am looking at you, malfunctioning Rocket Boots).
If you miss, repeat the last couple of steps till you get it, Ricket's Tickers have unlimited charges for you to try with.
Once you make it into the tunnel, if you are very lucky, Jadefang will be waiting for you.

If you are lazy, but ingenuitive, you can unplug your ethernet cable for about 6 seconds as you fly into the cave and up to this spot. Got up there on my second try :P

Aite, just killed this baby and looted the uber cute pet.

So it may be known I did this on my rogue with nitro boots and Sub spec for shadow step. I would be under the ledge on the white stone and trigger my nitro boots. You would want them to fail. once failed u get shot in the air.best if you already tageted one of the lil spiders before doin since this is alittle fast ^^ once in air shadow step and there you have it.

As a note for hunters(and really anyone with a proper /tar macro), it is possible to check if she is there by simply flying over where she is. You'll see three yellow dots close together(Deep Spider) on your minimap. If she's up, her dot should be just west of those.

I flew over and found her yesterday night and killed her for the pet, then saw her again tonight and tamed her.

Based on the times I've got for her on Wyrmrest Accord, Jadefang is on the 6-to-9 hour respawn timer, which means she's a highly available rare. Edit: Just camped her for a twelve hour spawn, while the other definite time frame I have was 8.5 hours. So she's either a 6-9 or 8-12; the 12 is within the 6-9 variance frame if you consider the fact that another rare needs to die to let her repop.

The problem with taming or killing her is thus not camping multiple spawn sites or waiting on an erratic timer but actually getting up to her little nest. I kinda like that, after the nightmare of the Sholazar rares. :P

My npcscan went off while flying over the cave at around 4 am cst. Couldn't get the daily for the bomb, but after a few tries of unplugging and replugging my ethernet cable I was able to fly to the ledge without d/cing.

The problem with the detailed SS is that its hard to see the context of the shot. Where exactly does he spawn in the tunnel? Is it up near the front by the neutral mobs or farther towards the back?

To fellow engineer hunters

1. stand under the platform with jadefang
2. use nitro boosts untill they explode and send you flying
3. hit parachute
4. attack spiders on the platforn
5. turn around and use disengage

This is a working way of getting on the platform if you dont have the bomb quest. Just tamed Jadefang this way, took about 20 min to get exploded nitro boosts.

I just killed it (2:30pm Server Time on Blackwater Raiders - US), and I can confirm that the bomb method mentioned by tmptfate is a great way to reach the ledge.

I can also confirm that dying in the cave will NOT spawn you with a flying mount upon turning into a ghost. This means you CANNOT die and fly into the cave as a ghost to reach the ledge.

Just had a chest spawn in the back while waiting for Jadefang to spawn. I would have thought that it would mean that she'd spawn when the chest poped up. But it turned out after waiting 5 mins after the chest spawned Jadefang never spawned even after looting it.

So the chest has no share-spawn timer with Jadefang. All what dropped in the chest was a BoP Blue Mail boots that I cannot use as a rogue and 1 gold. Nothing fancy.

kind of scary when i got there. there were a few ppl under the cave looking up for a way in but i bombed up first and tamed

just killed it and was pretty ez but his special attack freaked me out lol
with help of my Nitro Boosts or better say Nitro Belt (since Cata came out Нитроускорители its can be used only on belt) i made a shadowstep to nearest spider right after i blew up. took me about 20 min to get there...ez kill -nice companion :P

Llane server:

Downed at ~10:25pm EST. Flew past on the surface and my NPCScan went off.

Used the green crystal > bomb technique to get to his ledge. I am also using Silverdragon which also went off when he was targeted. Not a hard fight but beware his "Flurry" technique which does ~30,000 dmg with multiple 2.5k swings on plate.

Had him in my npcscan to test the link between Aeonaxx and other rares, sorry if I stole a hunter's target.

I used the bombs from the daily Underground Economy that can be picked up from Ricket just inside the Crumbling Depths cave (she's near the entrance but does not always have a quest available).
Following the other suggestions in previous comments, I was able to bomb myself into the cave.

For those keeping tabs, I camped out for about 12 hours before Jadefang spawned in the very back of the cave. As a level 85 warlock, she wasn't a challenge to kill at all.

Don't make the same mistake as I did, remember to put on Free for All if you're in a group. My brother was there but couldn't get up there (I used Nitro Boost), but he got the loot.

Currently awaiting answer from GM wether I'll get the pet or not.

Ran in at 03:01am this morning, with Underground Economy, after 4 days without this quest in the dailies, so I knew it would be there.

Enter cave, and head passed the area with the giant worm rolling about and into the big open room
Take a right, and then left in the next big room
Jump onto the green pillar to the right while mounted
Stand at the back of the pillar and place bomb in middle, then move between bomb and the cave entrance in front of you
Get knocked up into the cave, and find Jadefang sitting, just waiting to give you his Tiny Shale Spider

Love my new pet, looks very exotic and cool. Thanks for all the tips, took me less than 3 minutes total on this Rare Spawn, if you don't count the 3 days of reading Wowhead to make sure I knew what to do.

Just got the pet at about 1am PST on Uther - US

Once I saw the goblin daily was available I accepted it, but did NOT complete it. I'm not engineering, so this was my only means of getting up there. I was able to use the quest item to blast me onto the ledge, and turned around to find jadefang.

I logged on at 10 am server time, picked up the needed daily to blast myself up on the ledge and decided to camp there. Exactly at 12 am, 14 hours later, the spider spawns. I have no idea how many hours prior to me getting there it spawned, so it could have been more than a 14 hour timer. What a friggin waste of a day. A nice pet for sure, but it certainly is not on a quick timer.

Easy to get up there once you get the bomb placement down (once you drop the bomb on the rock outcropping, just move a tiny bit forward (and you can do this all while mounted)), the hard part is patience.

I can confirm the spawn time can be over 7 hours, I waited on several occasions 4-5 hours, and last night, after waiting 7 hours, 13 minutes, it spawned on Ravencrest at 2:41am st.
Tiny shale spider captured! It spawned, right before I was going to give up & go to bed! Oh, & killing it dinged me 85!

People I found a way to get Jadefang without the quest. Just get a huge lag spike, for example try loading a youtube video and mount on your flying mount, when you start seeing the worms just stop and stand there fly in the cave quickly and when you reach the middle room after the big worm turn left real quick into the tunnel that is unreachable walking, after that exit youtube and there you go, Instant access to Jadefang, Thats how i tamed him

I did just camp him i camped for 3 hours and then he came. I am a balance drood and he hit me for 5 k no match. I can say that he has 100% drop chance of his pet so good luck camping it :) PS. It looks SO cool i always have itas my pet now for a exchange of Little Fawn

without engineering, get on your mount, run around to the ledge where you see the unreachable cave where jadefang is, jump onto the broken emerald pillar while mounted, plant Ricket's Tickers down, turn your back to the cave where jadefang is WHILE mounted, and when the tickers go off, it will blow you into it. might take a couple trys, but once you get the trajectory down its a breeze. my npcscan went off while i was trying to figure out how to get in there. someone beat me to her. sad face. :(

Ok Jadefang spawned at 10:57 am (server time) on Moonrunner, I waited 7.5 hours but am not sure when the previous spawn time was. She was very easy tame and only took a few seconds after popping a speed potion, barely took any damage.

I also looted the chest that spawns up in the cave and received a blue cloth item. The chest spawned approx. an hour before Jadefang did.

That's 2 Cata rares down. (Terrorpene was my first obsession)

Haven't seen anything posted on this so far...

Over the past few days I have been camping this pet, and gathered the following data for Eonar (US). All times are server times (EST).

Dec. 20th: Spawned at 4:45 PM
Dec:21st: Realm Restart at 8:15 AM, Realms back up at 8:45AM

At this point I went offline and did not come back until 1PM. Not sure if she spawned in that time period.

Jadefang spawned at 12:15AM on Dec 22nd.

Dec 22nd: Realm Maintenance starting at 8:10AM, ended at 10:40AM

She has not spawned as of Dec 22nd 12:55PM since realm maintenance.

Point is, does the realm restart affect her spawn timer at all? And if it does, does it extend it, or does she spawn again right after the restart?

I will continue camping and come back to update this with her spawn times on Dec 22nd.

EDIT: Killed her on Dec 22nd at exactly 10:45PM. Therefore I can confirm that her spawn timer is between 12 and 14 hours, and a server reset DOES reset her spawn timer.

Saw her die at 8:48 pm. Had some alliance friends come by and kill any Horde competition while chatting with them over realID. Was hilarious and got many a nasty tell, but no pet. Camped for 9 hours before passing out around 6 am.

Definitely was a long random spawn timer, I went to the cave after getting the got up early last week to camp this, got myself to the back of the cave and waited ... and waited ... and waited ...

Took almost 14 hours but it finally spawned. I left myself there, logged back in early the next morning and there was Jadefang again in about 12 hrs, no other hunter responded so I nabbed the mini-pet.

Just need Aotona now to fill the zoo.

Logged in at 12:10 server on Christmas day, saying "maybe I'll get a new companion for Christmas", sure enough it was there. On a side note, I got 169,000 xp for the kill. Great recompense for logging out not in an inn. I recommend taking it out before you hit 85 for the XP. : D

I had been waiting for an hour or two for her to spawn (did a dungeon or two while I waited).. after exiting my last dungeon lo and behold, she was there! Tamed immediately, and seconds after a DK logged in where she had been standing.

I did not have the daily on my server today and used the d/c method to make it onto the ledge. It took several tries to get up there.

Tamed at 8:48pm server time on Gilneas. Going to check back later to see if she's respawned so I can snag the pet as well.

edit: I went back about 13 hours later, no sign of her. One pally camping the spot. Went back at 8:50pm and there she was. I'll agree on the 12-14hr respawn.

My husband kills Jadefang for the pet. We start the timer for 11 hours. I wake up one hour before the timer is up, and it goes off at 3:00pm. We wait until 8:00pm with no sighting of Jadefang - a total of 16 hours.

Edit: We came back to WoW several hours later, and at 11:52pm, NPCscan went off. By our timer, that would indicate almost a 20 hour spawn timer. The only explanation I can think of is that there was a rolling restart during the time that we were asleep.

I do not know if it was a fluke or not, but I know that on Sunday morning one druild in our guild got the pet at about 11:30am without the daily and using charge to get into the cave (not sure specifics on how).

Later, at 2:00pm, only 2.5 hours later, one of our priests saw the spawn up there but could not find a way to get in. There were no restarts or anything in-between. It may be that he is on a random timer? or that he spawns every so many hours no matter what time he was killed?

I will leave the science and math behind this to those who like that kind of thing, but I figured I would at least throw this info out there for you guys.

Just killed Jadefang (sorry hunters, but don't even wanna tame it on my hunter, just different color than all the other tamable shale spiders), it spawned right at the back of this cave/tunnel.

Kind of weird though... I rode down into the Depths, got into the main chamber right after the giant worm and... nothing, NPCScan didn't do a thing.

I got out and just as I was flying towards Therazane's Throne suddenly I got the NPCScan alert.

So either I had really weird timing and Jadefang spawned immediately after I had left the Depths or it's just barely out of range for NPCScan when you're in the main chamber.

So tip - if you wanna check for Jadefang better actually get to Pebble's position so you'll be able to sort of see into the tunnel/get in range, don't just go into this main chamber, you might be too far away.

I've been camping since 12:38 server (PST). Jadefang spawned 20:15. I am not aware of her last spawn and our server had a restart at 5:00.

EDIT: Why downrate? I simply gave the time I started and how long it took for her to spawn, noting that there was a server restart before I started. This info, coupled with someone who would be willing to camp through a server restart, can really shed some light on her spawn timer and whether or not it gets affected by server restarts.

There was a poster here that has confirmed a spawn timer of at least 6 hours and the spawn I got was 7 hours 37 minutes.

Killed her at 10 am on undermine server got my cute little pet, and being that i am a hunter i went back after 8 hours she wasnt up yet so i came back at about every hour after wards till around 1:35 am she spawned again and i tamed her on undermine server. I used the lag method both times to get to her seeing how the daily was never up.

Hunters, for love of Elune, if you tame this creature, PLEASE try to refrain from using it in the Crumbling Depths! It totally screws up the NPCScan addon many of us are using, giving a false positive and messing up our cache, forcing a logout and dump.

I had my game sound muted and my computer turned up all the way, with NPCScan set to override the game mute. Left my toon sitting in Jadefang's spawn area, started doing some things around the house.

Damn near killed my wife when I tripped over her while diving for the comp, because NPCScan got a false positive from a Hunter in the depths doing dailies.

As a Hunter, I want it as a pet too, guys, but try to refrain from using her near her spawn point, at least when IN the depths.

Got mine about 12:30 AM server time on US-WIldhammer. Me and my friend were trying the lag trick two different ways, he was remotely disconnecting his laptop and I was unplugging my ethernet cord. I watched him fail about five times before I repositioned my computer so the ethernet cord was within reach. Here was my method, your results may vary because of internet provider and that kinda stuff.

1. mounted up on my flying mount outside the cave
2. flew in and unplugged the cord as i got inside
3. flew the shortest route possible and went past the worm hallway
4. I plugged back in when i was in the large open chamber area
5. flew into the cave and waited for the internet to catch up
6. I was lucky enough to see Jadefang in front of me :)

I'm not sure what his spawn rate is, but I didn't see anyone inside the unreachable cave at all today when I did my daily in there or when I came back for Jadefang.

Ok, I have just confirmed the spawn time to be approx. 9 hrs and 45 mins. Last night, right at 12 midnight on New Year's, it popped up in front of me. I tamed it. I stayed dead and floating in the same area for the rest of the night. Later that morning I went off to make breakfast. I come back, and at 9:45am it popped up again. So now I'm running around with two Jadefang's lol. GOOD LUCK! HAVE FUN! & HAPPY 2011!

I did the bomb trick and got up there first try..he wasn't there. Camped and got through 7 1/2 episodes of Lost while spamming /tar>instant macro (had a druid and hunter as competition) and finally got the kill. you can do the math-- 43 min episodes

I love the false lag method! I did what was originally posted, disconnected my ethernet cable, counted to 6 and plugged back in, then reloaded my UI and I was up there with Jadefang. I got the little pet too!

Another way to get up to the ledge without dying or creating false lag is once you get the daily quest (Underground Economy) don't turn it in until you get your pet! Unlimited number of bombs at your disposal.

I camped Jadefang off and on all night with no luck. I took a break in the morning to run dailies, and then went back later to start camping again. I noticed if you have Track Beast on you can fly over the cave at 61.20-21.30 and see if Jadefang is there without having to enter the cave. Sure enough he was there! I flew down and used the bomb method posted earlier to enter Jadefang’s cave, and tamed him at 9:00am server time on Kilrogg. The tip above to not turn in the “Underground Economy” quest works great, you can use the bombs anytime, and as often as needed. Thanks to all the tips and info here, and some patience, I now have Jadefang as my new pet! ;)

Doing the quest today and my npcscan went off just as i made the jump to the green crystal - got in the cavern and got the kill.

Since that was the last of my dailies and off work for the day, I figured hey I'll just reset my npcscan and wait here for him to spawn again, running wow in the background while I did some work and watched a couple movies on my computer.

Very high populated server - only a few people dropped by, most didn't see me (shadowmeld ftw!) and only 1 or 2 stayed for more than 2 minutes. No one stayed more than 5 minutes. Did have a emo chat with a horde hunter, since I was taming and she was killing she blew me a kiss and left (thanks TC!)

6 hours - he could spawn at any moment
7 hours - he's gonna spawn any second I can't leave the cpu
~ Chest spawned - dropped Belmont's Vampire Hacker
8 hours - he's almost here...I just know it
9 hours - pass on guild run...I can't leave now, he's almost here...
10 hours - what if he's on a 12 hour spawn timer....I don't wanna wait that long, but I've already waited so long....
11 hours - can't wait any longer, gonna have to return later

2 Days Later....Jadefang is mine!
NOTE: 2 days and 3:30 minutes later was the spawn time.

Conclusion: The spawn timer is at least 6 hours, but again - it's RANDOM.

The things hunters do for rare spawns. Oh well, guess this balances out for getting Terrorpene and Ghostcrawler within 20 min of each other.

You can get there without the daily quest.

1. Play wow on $%^&ty internet ( i used my phones 3g internet)
2. Go to the entrance of the cave with your flying mount
3. Open up 50+ videos on youtube or other heavy websites

Then you just fly there and you wont get dismounted becouse your latency will be like 2000+

Camping this rare spawn right now. It has passed the 6h mark so the 6h straight-forward spawn timer has been debunked.

I'll post an update if/when I see it.

Since there was a server restart today, I have been camping since the restart almost to the minute.

The quickest video tutorial on how to get to Jadefang for those with the daily quest and using the provided item. Note: the quest giver is by the entrance of the Crumbling Depths but the days she gives the daily quest varies, some days she is there and some days she don't be giving the quest!

The moment you enter the big room after the unkillable Colossal Gyreworm, look straight ahead and you see up above a tunnel. Run to it (you will find yourself below) and follow the minimap image to run up there. Once on top looking toward where you came from (the unkillable Colossal Gyreworm tunnel) -look to the right side and you see yet another tunnel that you can't simply jump to, you need some sort of boost and this is where the quest item comes in handy! Have fun!

If you feel totally stuck here is a 30 seconds video of how to get to the location. It should be plenty to orient you where the inner cave you are looking for is located.
This appears to be the way Blizzard intended people to get to Jadefang but as an alternative method you can simply die under the entrance to the cave you are supposed to boost yourself up to and fly into it as a ghost. The ghost will be able to fly around even in the Crumbling Depths but note that this may be fixed in future patches!

The only viable method If you're like me and don't have you ethernet cable near your computer(wireless) Is to get the bomb from the goblin daily at the start of the cave (respawn for daily seems to be every few days) and not do the quest. Then you can just stand below the cave she's In and use /target jadefang to see If she's there.

Just tamed her today after much trial and error.

I decided to just go and see if she was there, even though I haven't finished the quest line to unlock the daily yet. So you'll probably guess I wasn't so happy when I got close and my npc scan went off saying she was there, erk!

I wasn't sure what to do for a while, and was just waiting for any of the people running around the cave to jump up and kill her at any second.

All I have to say to anyone who wants the pet or finds it but can't get the daily yet... ask for help from the people around you!

I found a very nice warlock who agreed to help me reach the ledge. Took quite a bit of time to find the right place to set the bomb (we eventually set it on some of the purple stones facing the ledge where the blast sent me up onto the ledge).

I tamed Jadefang today at 2:10pm server time on Blackrock. After two failed attempts due to the overwhelming number of Horde on this server I am so happy to have him as a pet. He's a pretty good tank and he just looks awesome :D

I don't know much about his spawn timer; he spawned at 8:45pm server time last night and I didn't see him from 8:30am this morning until he spawned again at 2:10. So I hope that helps those of you who are scoping him out!

So I KNOW this sounds like, OH NOES, so horrible, but you could just wait until the little gobby girl has the quest with the bomb. The best way to do this is to stand in the tunnel just left of the one you need to get into with Jadefang in it, face your body exactly opposite of the entrance, get as clsoe to the edge as possible, without falling (You can stand about a yard from the edge) and click the bomb, do not move. I did it the first time and every time afterwards. Just keep the quest, don't finish it or get rid of it, and your fine. Farm away fellow wow nerds.

I had a friend on the alliance side come over with his Night Elf Death Knight, Obviously I am Horde and I wanted him to Death Grip me onto the Ledge. Yes the (Wisp) mode does seem to be working for NE's. But This idea does not work, we tried almost every possible way to get him to Death Grip me and it did not work. This also goes for Life Grip with priests, I thought I'd share this information with all of you in case you tried this method, Sorry guys.

Just got the pet from this guy on Shadow Council after 3 hours of camping. We had maintenance today, so he can spawn less than 12 hours after that. Approximate spawn time was 7:50pm PST.

Just a note for dealing with competition. There were a couple members of the other faction who were chasing me around the cave, planting the bombs used in the daily, apparently with the aim of blowing me out of the cave, or maybe just distracting me so they could get first tag. I finally found a location at the very rear of the cave, backed up against the corner of the rock, where the bombs did not move me. Far right corner, if looking at the back of the cave from the entrance.

Oh, and something I had not realized is the mini-pet is Bind on Pickup. Explains why I had not seen any in the AH. >.< Very glad I did this with my pet collector toon.

For those of you trying the Router Tap trick (can be done on an Ethernet connection as well):

- Take the left portion of the Colossal Gyreworm's track through the ring. This saves time.

- When you get to the big room (immediately after the Gyreworm track), Jadefang is in the highest cave in the upper left hand area of the big room. The directions posted for using the bombs just lead you in a big loop. Instead of going that way, like I did, just fly into the upper left cave in the big room.

Ok first off, I held onto the goblin bomb quest with the idea that the bomb wouldn't disappear if I didnt complete the quest...she happened to have the same quest for the 3 days that I held on to it, so no idea if you can hold onto the bomb if quest isn't up.

Getting on Jadefang's ledge was pretty easy as long as you're on the ledge literally to the right of it. Place a bomb, position yourself just in front of it (can even do this mounted) and enjoy the ride straight into Jadefang's lair.

She spawned for a friend at 5pm eastern, and we checked up every so often until she spawned again at 6am eastern the next morning. So a 13 hour respawn for us as far as we could tell...

*note - I heard from several players that many of the new Cata rare spawns are on random timers in order to prevent spawn campers... I'm sure I could verify this with google but so could you!

For what it's worth...I saw Jadefang tamed at 6:41 this morning.
Logged on around 4pm and waited. Jadefang spawned (and died) at 4:43 pm...
So that's what...10 hours? Assuming it didn't respawn while I was way.

Also, if it matters, the underground economy quest was not available yesterday...but it was today.

Those who have had to wait 6ish hours have been very lucky.

I started camping at 3pm. It's now 3am. I discovered that he was killed at roughly 10am. So the minimum spawn timer I have here at the moment is 17 hours (and that's only if he was to pop up now by some kind of insane luck).

Think I'll give up for the night and try another time.

Just don't be fooled into thinking his respawn timer is short. You may get lucky or you may not. It's completely random. Fingers crossed you might just find him.

Got it this am. Spawned after I turned in economy daily so had no bombs. Tried every trick listed here to get in. Including having the wife stand beside the comp to unplug/plug cable. Could fly to ledge and spam rez but everytime timed out too soon.

Got naked to die and let worm get me. How come people still don't know they can't get kill credit if not aggro'd? People kept killing my worm :( Whole time worried someone else was reading this forum and take the kill.

Finaly got in grp with someone who had bombs. Worked great and I got the drop. Wondering why no roll on drop if in grp. Felt bad for the guy so paid him 500 gold. Hey, I had been at it an hour and no one killed it.

Also why no 'cheeves for Cat Rare's? Got three already.

The spawn timer may be more random than the samples reported would indicate. Spawned yesterday, missed it by minutes. Camping today 8 am server time to 430 server time, and no showing of the spider or the chest that can spawn in its place.

Will update when/if it spawns... beginning to think the cake is a lie!

Hello peeps, logged out last night in Jadefangs little cave,logged back in at 1.20am Uk time Monday morning at realm twisting neather and found Jadefang there waiting for me :) defently tamed her not killed her, gunna leave getting the mini pet for in the future, so happy :) good luck fellow hunters and I hope u get her soon :) she's one of the hardest rares to tame cos she drops a mini pet which everyone will want so she's camped alot, so I recomend everytime u logg out leave yourself in her cave cos like me one day u will logg on and she'll be waiting for u :)

After two days on near non-stop farming finally nabbed this guy. First day I remained around the spawn site for 12 hours without luck, although I took a break during the grind. Logged in the next day around 1:50PM to Jadefang's corpse in front of me and a shaman spamming chat with the pet. Around 4:20AM Jadefang spawned once more and was mine. I believe this guy is a 12-14 hour respawn, at least from the information I have seen. Regardless, Here are some things I have found useful for this particular grind.

-Persistence. This is a unique hunter pet and drops a companion for anyone. Although many have recommended against this, if you really want this companion/pet its best to just camp the spot. For example, when I nabbed Jadefang myself the daily was not Ricter's Tickers, however several hunters logged in over time at the spawn point along with several others who saved the quest as I did.

-Occupation. Good for you if you can sit there for 12+ hours without anything else to do, but if you are like me and can't stand still for more than 30 minutes find something to occupy your time. I found classwork to be productive during this time as well as the Peggle/Bejeweled mods available.

-NPCScan. I have not tryed Silverdragon so I cannot give an opinion on that, but as I said I got my Tiny Shale Spider around 4am. I was tired, but those loud drums/horns in my ear make me instantly respond to the spawn. I find this kind of indication important.

-"First who tags wins." This was my trademark phrase. Some hunters show up and whispered me indicating a) They were here to tame Jadefang and b) They wanted me to leave. I remained polite and informed them that I had been waiting X amount of hours and that whomever tags the mob first wins with no hard feelings. In my case, all the hunters logged within minutes. This may not be the case for you, but this statement shows firm commitment without any unnecessary aggression.

-Self-Control/Patience. People are going to show up. This is just fact, however most do not have the tenacity (or insanity) to sit and wait for several hours. In my case I was able to out camp many would-be campers. Just sitting there prepared and quiet usually scares many off.

In addition to the above, I had two hunters who had Jadefang as a pet show up and sit at the spawn point. One even spammed /spit and /laugh. Some non-hunters showed up and summoned the pet and ran around me for a while. These types of people are trying to get a rise out of you. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM. That gives them more reason to stay and grief you. Stay quiet and do not target them. Most likely they will leave if you do not provide 'amusement' for their pee-brains.

This guy is a beautiful pet and a lovely companion. Good luck to any/all who want him!

you CAN tame her on the ledge if you have a friend who can sheep her on the very edge.

Hop on the crystal thingy in front of the ledge and have your friend kite jade to you.

i was only 84 when she spawned, so i had to rush to 85, so my mage friend kept her tagged for me.

Was flying around herbing on my Warlock when my NPCScan went crazy with Jadefang.. I had no idea where to even start looking or anything about her. So I went inside the cave and finally decided to look it up when i saw this thread, we didn't have the daily when she was up and I wasn't about to let this little rare get away without a fight!

So I tried the engineering thing with a friend and tried getting up there with no luck. Then I tried using the DC technique, worked awesome! Took me a few times to get the timing right, on when to turn my wireless on and off, but after like 5 tries i got it perfectly. And it is much easier to take the left path, just make sure your familiar with the area right before trying it.

The fight itself wasn't hard. She has 116k HP and was easily soloable as a 85 Holy Priest. The main ability, that I noticed at least, was what looked like a frontal swipe ability. Easily avoidable by just jumping back a few steps since she doesn't follow you while doing it. though standing in it seemed to be like standing it a minor whirlwind, healable but easier to just avoid :P

Nice little shale spider to add to my pet collection :D

After a long day of camping...not logging once (boredom & determination will make you do crazy things)...finally at 2:09 am Arygos realm time (12:09 am MST) she spawned. Dropped my trap but was angled all wrong, Jadefang totally missed my trap when I started the tame. The damage taken is nothing to worry about, tame finished with minimal health loss.

Now I wait for the vanity pet :)

A tip for Hunters looking to tame Jadefang: Tag him before taming. It may deter others from killing him once they notice the grey name. And if not, at least you'll get a pet out of it.

The guide above was helpful, however when I came upon Jadefang that particular daily wasn't up. I used my turtle to engage a gyreworm, and then triggered my Nitro Boosts. After a few tries, they backfired and I was able to Disengage onto the ledge. So, if the daily isn't up and you have Engineering, you can still get to Jadefang without messing with your internet connection.

I actually didn't even know the spot was a rarespawn - I was just questing along, when I accidentally sat on top of the bomb waiting for it to boom (I assumed it just did damage or a short knockback and so just stood back as normal most of the time lol) and got knocked away super far - and of course realized the implications. Then I noticed the upper ledges and how it let me just shortcut...and when I bounced from the ledge just to the right of the entrance to Jade's cave into there, I saw the fancy-looking (and huge) shale spider. Clicked on it and was excited just because rarespawns are fun...was very happy when I looted her and found that her drop was much better than just some random blue :D

Spotted and tamed 1/23 around 3am server Dragonblight-US, spotted again and killed it for the mini pet tonight around 2am server. Been casually keeping an eye out for her while doing dailies, this would be the third time I've seen Jadefang up around 2-3am.

Been keeping underground economy in my log for quick access to her cave, when the daily isn't up :)

I have no idea if this technique will work for any other class besides a rogue since that is what I play, but I found a way to get to Jadefang without needing engineering (even though I am one). While waiting for the cooldown on my boots to come back up I took the normal route to get to her as if you were going to use the bomb method. Once at the top of the ledge I jumped down onto the large dark green crystal below; now there are 3 crystals there under the ledge, a very tall grey/white crystal, and 2 dark green ones, shorter and taller. Get on top of the dark green one and target the closest Deep Spider to the ledge that Jadefang hides on. The spider will randomly path to the edge of the ledge and while jumping up and down and spamming shadowstep I was able to get up there without needing my nitro boots to fail.

**edit - upon trying to duplicate this scenario again I have so far been unable to. I do not remember if I was in the process of mounting when I was able to eventually get it, but I did definitely get up there with shadowstep from the top of the crystal.

Be warned people. If it is the daily quest 'Underground Economy' people may try to grief you, as what just happened to me.

Apparently the new trend is to drop bombs at the AFK person's feet so they get flung off the ledge and die due to the gyreworms down below. So camp in a corner, not out in the open.

I am not able to time the "pull the ethernet cable" thingy. I pull it at the entrance to the cave and then plug it back in when I get to the cave. I am a draenei, but stay on the gryphon whild dc'd. I figure it remains dc'd for about 6 or 8 seconds before I get the plug back in...I'm assuming that this is too long. Any ideas how quickly you must reconnect before it takes you to the log out screen?

Just tamed him on the Lightning's Blade server at about 8:50, exactly 6 hours after I started camping him this afternoon. I can't confirm a 6 hour spawn timer, but I do know I got incredibly lucky.

I got this baby twice, there was a horde already waiting for jadefang, but bad luck for him I got to the scene. I been trying to catch this baby for a while and finally got it… Twice! He is not hard to tame, and for sure the pet is awesome looking! His spawn time runs from 6 hours to 2 days.
There is a best way to get him without no problems, is good to have great guild master that can help from time to time. I thanks my since they know I’m a hunters for rare my passion is to find the rare and Tamed it! Ty Aessan great JOB~!

I decided to try camping for this fella this morning. Got up to the cave and had a worgen hunter follow me in after a couple minutes. Jadefang spawned several minutes later (about 1:20 PM est) as I was looking through these comments on my phone. I decided to be nice and let the hunter tame it, which I regretted. No thank you or anything.

I left for work at 4 and got back a little after 8, took a shower, and got online around 9. I figured a 6-12 hour respawn was pretty reasonable and decided to wait. He finally spawned at 11:20 PM, and I got my pet.

Someone may have got him while I was at work, but I didn't ask around, so I can't be sure of the spawn time.

I camped it for 9 hours 40 minutes on Baelgun US. I'm not sure when it last spawned, but the timer was at least that long.

You can also just die right under the cave entrance, and then while spirit accept inside the cave. I do this everytime, very easy!;)

I dont know if this helps anyone, But I camped this pet yesterday (2011-02-02) And tamed it at 17.10 server time. Then camped him again for the vanity pet. (2011-02-03) at 05.20 I gave up, when i relogged i found Jadefang again, killed it at 09.10 server time.

I don't know if any rare spawns' timers are tied to each other, but I tamed Sambas at 9am and immediately went to Deepholme and npscan told me Jadefang was up.

I hadn't quested enough in Deepholme so the only way I could get up to him was to die below and rez above, and by that time he was gone.

Got this baby on my hunter not too long ago. Was healing a group on my priest, when my boyfriend let me know that npcscan just went off for Jadefang. I immediately dropped group, hopped on my hunter and headed out there.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get the daily quest for the bomb. However we found out that since he still had the bomb from it, he could use his toon to blow my hunter up into the tunnel too!

One minute after taming her, along come about 3 more hopeful hunters popping up into the tunnel, only to find me standing there with it. :D

Spawn timer is actually pretty low for a rare.... Killed Jadefang in the morning and about 8 hours later found jadefang again. This time around I alerted a few hunter friends, but by the time one got there, and I had to help the person into the cave and then up on the ledge with the bombs (they didn't have therazene rep), another hunter was already up there taming it.

On another note, the easiest way I have found is to actually run around so you're on top of the nearby ledge and then use the bombs to blow yourself up and over and you're good. I couldn't make it from the floor/anything on the floor, my little gnome is too short, but had no problems at all from that nearby ledge that is easily accessible.

I really want this - I the underground economy daily a few days ago and up popped the npc scan - but i had no idea how to get to the cave, so i missed it - but thankfully the guy who killed him showed us how to get into it

the daily is on and i've been camping for about 6 hours or so now, can't remember, its all a blur lol

a paladin logged on in the cave and told me that it was killed at 12 (assume thats server time) and wished me luck, and logged off

i really want it - wish me luck it'll spawn soon !

Just killed the mob @15:26. She spawned like around noon...ish. I was doing dailies when NPCScan went off. I couldnt get there with the tips (didnt have the bomb-daily) so did DailyHC. When I came back Jadefang was still up and i tried the plug cable thing again. I did it in a different way though...
I got on my mount, plugged the cable, and set my char to auto run. Then i inserted the cable again for 1sec, and plugged it again. I did this 3 times while flying for the "balcony" where Jadefang is. I didnt get disc'ed and just before i landed, i plugged the cable back in. The game resumed as normal, and i was able to kill Jadefang without any problem.

Just tame Jadefang, 13:20 or 01:20pm afther 14 hours camping. Dont know how much time pased befor 23:30 or 11:30 pm he/she was killed/tamed by someone, just info for next one to know how much he/she waited.
My recomandation is to come from time to time & use tip which I did, dont give in quest where you use bomb, its only 1 quest which you can give in anytime but you lose bomb which make posiblle to get to Jadefang. Nightelf; Im one can alweys wisp up but why die? Tame: Lounch Freezeng Trap, come closer & tame it while is frozen (works on many beasts!) Good luck :)

You have a few options:

Rocket Jump (Goblin Racial)
Underground Economy (Daily)
Wisp Walk (Night Elf Racial)

What if you find this rare in a day when there is no daily and your race is undead?

I would say: Get a UDP Flooder (or something else) to get you 2000k ping and fly from the entrance to the zone where it spawns. Sucks but.. works.

Just found this 15 minutes ago. I wanted the pet, and before i logged of wow for around 1 hour ago i putted my Druid into his cave. When i logged in 19:45 (10 hours after the Aerie Peak Server opened) i logged online and looked into the back of the cave, and there he was. A giant, shiny spider. I didn't check my mana, buffs or anything, i did even not turn into boomer, i just wanted the pet. I attacked and downed him on around a minute, i looted the pet and i'm very happy, such a cute companion(: Jadefang is very easy to solo, just heal a bit now and then, and it's not problem.
I'm a mount hunter, but i also hunt rare companions, and now this baby is added to my collection.
Hoping for to down Aeonaxx soon.

Btw i used the Wisp Walk method, just aggro some of the worms beneath the cave and make sure you're under the entrance of Jadefangs cave.

All this happend on Aerie Peak server, Eu.
Anknara lvl 85 Bala Nelf druid.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as of Tuesday's patch it appears you can no longer die at the bottom and rez up top. I tried today, and as I was flying back dead, it dismounted me a few seconds into the cave.

Took the time afterwards to finish my main quest line to open up the daily. Been camping for a little over 3hrs so far, nothin yet.

Edit: Over 5hrs straight, nothin yet. A Horde arrived about an hour ago, 10min later brought a friend and have been spamming Rain of Fire and the DK aoe. I made a macro so I've been spamming two keys on my keyboard back and forth for 50min straight. Frustrates me the lack of respect people have.

I have had some really really bad luck with this little Spider.

The other day I was ranting on with a friend over how I read in the Comments on Wowhead that this baby may not spawn for 72 hours straight.

So I decided to go into Deepholm to tame a purple colored normal Shale Spider.. At lvl83(You can see it coming, right?).

I went in the cave, unexpecting.. And there it was, NPCscan going wild. I had not completed enough quests to unlock the Bomb daily so I used the Lag Glitch to get up.

Because I was in such a shock of finding this rare I totally forgot I couln't tame it at lvl83.. So I had to put it down.. I am glad I still got the critter, though.

Now here I am, dinged 85, and camping this spot.

This times a thousands!

I play a Sub Rogue. I have Engineering. I tinkered Nitro boosts onto my belt.

I was in the cave doing the Pebble daily when NPCScan went off. There were other players in there as well. I paniced for about 5 minutes as I ran around the cave looking for this guy. i could not find him anywhere! Inside the cave or outside the cave.

Naturally I checked wowhead.com for the information on him. i read most the posts, watched the video's and paniced more because I didn't have the daily people were talking about.

My rogue is a goblin, so she has rocket jump. I thought that I could use that instead of the bombs used in the daily quest. I was wrong. I was wrong about 17 times. Panic ensued once more. Then I rechecked wowhead, and found the above post. Insperation set in!

While questing I replaced my items with my tinkers on them. ALL OF THEM. Paniced. Hearthed to Org. Over paid for the Nitro Boosts mats. And tinkered my belt up good. Took the portal back, hoping Jadefang would still be there (one of the longest trips in my WoW life). Found that Jadefang was still there!

Ran through the cave and jumped off the ledge onto the blue/green rock that is infront of Jadefang's cave. Stealthed......targeted a creature up there.......waited........paniced because i thought the nitro boost fail would unstealth me and I would have to steath again while panicing and falling....... checked wowhead for info on this........returned to the game........got ready for the fail>shadowstep>?>profit......hit the nitro boosts!......they didn't fail! THEY FAIL EVERYTIME I AM RUNNING FROM A WARRIOR IN AV! WHY COULDN'T THEY FAIL NOW? OH THE GOBLINITY!

I repeated this about 15 times (really) (with the panic).

Then it happened.

The plan worked!

The panic subsided......but the liquid courage i had been drinking had not.

I attacked without thinking. Without having a plan. But the plan worked you say? YES! IT WORKED! But the plan only covered the way to get up there. The plan did not cover the 2 levels Jadefang had me beat by, nor did the plan cover the liquid courge.

Jadefang had me beat before I knew what hit me. Panic ensued once more.

I returned and went through the motions again. About an hour and a half went by before another Nitro Boosts fail accured. But when it did, I was ready!

I shot up in the air and shadowsteped the creature. Then gathered my wits (both of them) and took screen shots.

I planed my attack for about fifteen minutes. Then went for the kill. Being two levels down and three sheets to the wind, I started my attack.

I shadowsteped it, ambushed, kidney shoted it, siniter striked, paniced, drank a health potion, spammed sinister strike, popped my evasion, hit everscerate.......looked at both of our health bars. Realized I was going to die..........and paniced again.

I realized, that in my panic I clicked on my saronite bombs on my action bar. The big target was perfectly around the beast. I left clicked..........wait for it............dropped the bomb.......wait some more...........and killed it!

I got the pet!

I believe in this plan so much, that I made an email address, signed up with wowhead, and posted this message (thats way too long).

This plan worked perfectly! Just have patience and nerves of steel :D

Engineers:

For the Engineers out there, you can get this without the daily.

Position yourself close to the ledge but not too close so that the ledge obstructs you. Keep using Nitro Boosts until they fail and shoot you up in the air. Use your slow fall cloak tinker and be sure to press forward (I pressed and held forward while in the air) so you slowfall down onto the platform.

As a mage I have done this just, however I applied my own Slowfall spell beforehand. I'm sure that the engineering one will work just as well (you may not even need to slowfall if your close enough to the ledge, just remember to try move forward as your falling).

Good luck to the engineers out there trying this method. Took me about 9 or 10 tries for the boots to finally fail, but now I have my Tiny Shale Spider.

Note: If your a goblin, its even easier. You won't even need to be close to the platform, as you can just rocket jump mid air onto the platform.

Just tamed him 2/16/11 at 7:00PM EST. Realm Perenolde. Just watched the youtube video above. Got there planted my hunter , turned the speaker on loud and went on my business and waited for the NPCscan to go off. Was probably there between 6-8 hrs.

Just killed this one, us Windrunner. Spawned when I was laying on the floor at 12:38 am. I got all excited and came and killed him.

I must say, I do think this is on about a 12 hour respawn, give or take. Simply because yesterday I came across a fellow priest that showed up and we got to talking. I had to leave so he saved me to friends and today he sent me an in game mail telling me that he killed it at 12:48 pm server time today. I did show up at 6 hours and no Jadefang, and I sat at the spawn spot for a couple hours with no luck. Kept coming back when I'd log out and log back in, I didn't wanna miss it. Afk'd a few times, even put my dk pet on aggressive thinking it'd spawn aggressive to me (was just a thought). But no, spawns neutral.

That said, I'm actually really loving my new vanity pet ^_^

Not sure how much this helps, but just to add.
I was just starting my dailies, noticed it was the bomb quest and made my decision of the day. I was gonna camp Jadefang.

I turned up at 10:46am (11:46am server time)
Jadefang eventually spawned around 12hours later at 11pm (12midnight server time)
I don't know when she was previously tamed/killed, I couldn't get an answer, but this does show a spawn timer in excess of 12hours.

Good luck hunters and pet collectors. I love mine, it's soooo cute :)

Decided last night to farm with a guildie and test how long the respawn was for us.

Jadefang killed at 0915. Camped until 1735 when it respawned.

Seems within the "average" window others are seeing currently.

I've both killed and tamed Jadefang, both times in the evening. (Not sure the exact time) Didn't have to camp for her either time, just got lucky and there she was.

I kept Underground Economy in my questlog for weeks to access the bombs. The easiest way to get to Jadefang's cave I find is to position yourself under the ledge which Pebble sits on (when his daily is up) and place a bomb just to the left of a clump of black rock that'll be just to your right. Mount up if you're a hunter/pet class, so you're pet doesn't run all over the caves like a lunatic. Might take a couple of tries to get up there, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy.

Turn around once you're on that ledge (so that you're looking down at where you've come from), and you'll see the entrance to Jadefang's cave on your right, next to a pillar. Place the bomb near the edge of the ledge (but leave yourself enough room to stand in front of it) and fling yourself to the cave. This part is easier than getting up to where Pebble normally is, if you're not patient enough to just run there yourself and skip the first step.

If you're a hunter and you use _NPCscan Overlay, you can hover over his spawn-point before entering the caves and check if he's spawned or not. Helps save a potentially frustrating trip blowing yourself up, if you're hunting casually.

I followed "Bombing Option #2" above but had a guildie actually shoot me up there with his "charge." Basically, we jumped to the aqua colored rock below the cave entrance where Jadefang lives with our better jumping mounts (Ram worked much better than Ramkahen Camel), dismounted, I stood right on top of guild member, he ignited charge, and we both flew backwards.

That was at about 1am ST. I only camped it for about 45 minutes before giving up, so I checked back in around 2:30am ST and no Jadefang. So I went to sleep and at 9:30am ST I logged right back in and there she was. Very easy tame for this BM hunter and it's a great pet for raiding because of the buffs it gives. This was on Dragonblight (US) server.

For anyone on The Scryers, tamed her at about 9:30 realm time after a 13 and a half wait time. That was a pain to wait, I don't have any add-ons to help out with that. To the two Alliance who didn't interfere with the taming, THANK YOU!

For any other Hunter-Engineers out there, you don't need the quest item to get up to the right spot.

I was able to get up to Jadefang's cave using a Nitro Boosts malfunction + Disengage (I got into combat by shooting one of the friendly shale spider mobs on the way up). Only pain is waiting for the 3 minute cooldown on the Nitro Boosts malfunction RNG - every time it works properly instead of malfunctioning you have to wait for the cooldown to try again.

Killed Jadefang for the mini-pet just a few min ago on Nordrassil, camping out and hoping for a tame later today if she respawns before bedtime.

I love the look of this pet so I had to have it after a couple of days of camping I found there to be to many people, so I went back and forth for a few hours.

Then I found him dead at about 6:05pm server time so I read his re spawn timer is about 6-12 hours, so I went back 11:45pm about 5 and a half hours after the kill and I did not see him so I camped till about 1:30am server then I got bored so I switched from my rogue to my hunter every 30 mins or so. Then finally as soon as I logged on to my hunter at 3:50am server time he was sitting right there!

I quickly dismissed my pet and tamed him in seconds I'm a level 85 so health wasn't an issue and BAM! My new pet :D!

So what I have found is that the re spawn timer seems to be 6 hrs+ but no more than about 18 hrs i believe. I hope this information helped.

I found a slightly different way to get up there. I was on my rogue, which I respecced subtlety JUST to help get up there. I stood on the pillar between Jadefang's tunnel and the edge of the one you usually blast yourself from. My friend who's a warlock with more range than I, had managed to get a mob at the entrance of Jadefang's tunnel to come to the edge where it was in my line of sight and I was able to shadowstep right to it, kill that mob and go collect my pet from Jadefang!

There was no daily up at the time and the server was about to be shut down for maintenance in 9 minutes, so when this actually succeeded I was thrilled.

She spawned for me today! I've been logging in and out in the cave (NE wisp form can still get up there as of 3/4/11). Today I logged in and she wasn't there... so I flew to check on the Pebble daily (not available). I died at the bottom of the cave, flew up, rezzed, and THERE SHE WAS! It took approximately 3 days; the longest I spent at one time was a 4hr stint. The spawn time was 1pm PST on WrA.

I received the quest and parked my toon til the next day. There had been a few folks the day of the quest. So I came back this morning and camped for ~3 hours where mob spawned at very back of cave 12:05p server Garrosh. GL!

Got mine today when the quest wasn't up. I'm a Goblin and an Engineer, so I used the Nitro Boost/Rocket Jump method. I am also a Priest, so I'm curious to see if I can use Leap of Faith to pull up a buddy.

You can use the instead of malfunctioning Rocket Boots. The Helmet is a reward for the quest Обратно к командующему! which can be found in Netherstorm. The Helmet has the same function as the malfunctioning Rocket Boots. (The Helmet has a 30 minute cooldown, so use it with care.)

Just tamed at 12:55pm Ysera(US), It was horde hunter there. But he already had Jadefang and the non-combatant pet. He logged over on his alliance charcater and told me Jadefang should've spawned 12am last night and should spawn at 12pm-5pm today and couple mins after he told me that Jadefang spawned! Im one happy hunter. Jadefang does hit hard at all, barely even put a dent in my 103k hp.

I wish i could thank that hunter,I was about to give up and go to sleep(been camping jadefang since 3am CST) all my charcater slots are full with alliance toons :(, I could send an in-game mail on the alliance charcater :)

Saw this at 2:45 server time today (rexxar) but by the time I read this thread and figured out how to get on the ledge someone else had got it.
So reading that spawn time was about 6-9 hours, came back 6 hours later and camped for awhile, no luck, bored and went to bed.
Only one of those nights I can't sleep so got up and camped it awhile, did the dailies (4am reset!), back up on the ledge and was typing an email and about to log off when she spawned! Woo hoo!
So it was 12.5 hours since last spawn (not sure how long she was spawned the first time, but surely not very long).

Sweeet! ... I just paid 1000G to have a lok with the daily quest "Underground Economy" and all I had to do was stand over top of her on my mount while she blasted me up onto jadefangs ledge, where i will remain until i tame her, wait for her to spawn again, then take her kid from her too. :)
the longest I've spent so far hunting rares is 13 -20 hr days in'a row hunting the time-lost proto-drake, the first 5 of which were spent hunting skoll to tame.
so now i can summon my drake and his kid (companion) ...when i have jadefang out, i will have the companion pet out with her, i love how they all look like a tiny version of the pet or mount lol.

hunting rares is one of the best ways to relax on wow and get away from the chaos of cataclysm
... imo, i find myself going back to the storm peaks just to soar and listen to the theme music. ;)

Just a tip for anyone who might be trying to camp this while tabbed out doing other things: Pin your back against the back wall of the cave. Some douchy druid keeps coming and trying to knock me out of the cave with his bombs from the daily and I had to do this to get him to go away, since the bomb won't knock me anywhere with my back against the wall the way it is.

the best, easiest, way to get the Jade Spider is to die next to the entrance & get up there on you way back, someone earlier suggested that, i tried it. worked perfect takes about 3 mins. for the whole process

I was trying to kill Jadefang, almost got him, but another hunter got first shot and stole the kill. This was at about 5:40 AM. I logged out in the cave to go to bed, logged in quickly after I woke up to see if the respawn was up, course not. Logged out, then back in about 15 minutes later. Stayed online for a few minutes, and suddenly Jadefang respawned at 2:45 PM.
Roughly a 9 hour spawn time for me, hope that helps anyone who's thinking of camping it. :)

I never did any extensive camping before, but I figured I would try camping Jadefang for the pet she drops. I started right around 12:00AM.

4:05AM - Start seeing things due to lack of sleep, freak out every minute or so thinking Jadefang spawned, oh what fun!
8:27AM - Start having connection problems
9:23AM - Still having connection problems, log on to find Jadefang spawned

Remember, this was my first time really camping a rarespawn...

I logged off in his hovel last night, woke-up, logged in and there he was standing in front of me.

I did not witness jadefang spawn she was just up the times i checked and stated.

I'm on the Onyxia server which has a very low population. On Tuesday night before servers went down for the maint. I got the rep to open the dailies an hour before they reset. I was able to obtain the quest with honored rep. Jadevang was up for hours already but the goblin to ge the quest was not. 10 min before servers went down dailies reset and I was able to go get the quest and get to jadefang.

I was on my hunter so i had to decide on the companion or the pet. I chose the companion first since i knew i would get jadefang again.

From the posts i have been reading and the videos I have watched everyone says u need to use the bomb twice. You only need to use it once. When you walk into the big room after passing the colossal gyreworm, just keep going straight to the tunnle opening. Enter and go to the left. At the end of that tunnle there is a ledge that drops back into the room you were just in. (most vids show you using the bomb to get here in the first place) Now for hunters you can use eagle eye at this point into the unreachable tunnle you see to the right. Jadefang spawns in the very back of the tunnle.

If jadefang is up, just line yourself up with the tunnle opening, drop a bomb from the quest, move forward in front of the bomb and wait for it to go off. There's no need to jump and try to time anything. Just stand tehre.

i just killed him now... but didnt drop the companion =(
assume thats not 100% drop rate.. i was in party but i think this doenst matter...
and i didnt use that bombs to get into the plataform...
im eng and goblin... just tried few times till my nitro boots explode... then i rocket jump to reach the plataform...
works fine... but no campanion =/

hello friend i just got him today and here's how i did it ,
the first thing you need is laag alot of if, so open your browser ,go to youtube,find some hd video ,then open likes 40 one more in new tabs ,waited 30 second and my laag got 4 to 5 k,i was already on my flying mount just in front off the cave entrance ,got in and reached the spider platforms from the first attempt ;)

Make sure you are in BM spec before trying to tame, otherwise, you will get a "Creature not tameable" message!

(have NPCscanner) When I logged in I was in Deepholm, did quests for like an hour. Got the dalies to pop up, so got the bomb quest and got myself up there (TY for the youtube vid) he was already gone when I logged in, and wasnt in my cashe. I sat there for 10 hours stright (holy crap that was long 10 hours) before the NPCscanner scared the crap outta me. Popped at 10PM server. I didnt bother to throw ice trap, but I did hit him once to tag him. So I went to bed and got back in to the spawn point 9 hours later (8am server), thinking that I would catch him for the companion kill. My other hunter buddy showed up at 10 AM server so I let him take the reigns. He sat there till 2:45 server when a CHEST spawned where Jadefang should have. That makes the gap go from 10 PM server one day till 2:45 PM server the next day (16 3/4 hour span). And then it wasnt even him that popped up. If that counted as his spawn, then I suppose that its on a 16 & 3/4 hour CD with a CHANCE that something NON-Jadefang would spawn. UNLESS it popped in the 9 hours I left the spot un-man'd while i slept which seems unlikley. So he finally tamed to at 9:15 server time. So like 23 hours apart, my math is bad sometimes. Then I came back the next day after that, Id estimate about 20 hours after my friend's tame, came and sat for several hours to have nothing spawn except a warlock in and out wanting him. Finally got sleepy and told the warlock to send tell when he comes across it, and he send a mail saying 4:30AM(ish). The next kill time is kinda unknown. One other friend was camping and a Q came up, when she came out he was dead prolly like 2-3AM server. The next time noted alive was 1:45 server, when I killed for the companion.

SUMMARY:
Start camp Saturday March 26 @ 1PM (going my time, not server now) for a 10 hour camp to have him show @11:04 PM
-Slept till 9AM Sunday the 27th, camped for 2 hours to give up spot to buddy (@11AM) -
-@11am gave up to friend he sits there till 3:45 when a chest spawned - Then the real Jadefang respawned at 10:15PM Sunday March 27th.
-Tuesday March 29th spawns at 5:30AM (my time) (my other buddy killed for companion)
-March 30th - random unknown kill sometime between 1-2AM server
- Wednesday March 30th, I start camp at 3AM my time, and Jadefang pops up 2:30PM my time - almost a 12 hour camp for the companion
-*NEVER*- will I enter that cave again!

Got him 09:30 - 29-03-2011 on Mazrigos server. Went to the ledge and let myself die from the worms. Then used spirit, to fly up, and rezz on the ledge; Jadefang was looking right at me.

Tamed him as some kills havnt given the pet drop. Next time its a kill for the pet.

I just want to point out once again (it's written somewhere in the thread but I didn't notice it) that Jadefang spawns way down into the short tunnel.
If, like me, you don't use any addon and don't want to waste your time with a macro ("the tunnel is so short... I can't miss it!"), chances are that you will actually miss it.

Today I went to check if Jadefang was up, and just went under the ledge that gives access to the tunnel, with track beasts turned on: I saw three dots on the minimap but all of them were regular shale spiders. "Ok then, it's not there".
I took the tunnel that goes behind Jadefang's just to do my dailies, and saw another dot on the minimap. I'm not really sure why I checked it, but I did, and it was Jadefang.
I could have missed it even if it was there, only because I thought I would see it on my minimap when standing in the main chamber. Well, keep this in mind: you WON'T see it from down there ;-)

Arrived at 4.35pm, checked wowhead and confirmed a 7-20 hr spawnning time, i cant confirm weather it had been tammed at all previously.

None the less, i chosen the tame for Rivena. Enjoy screenie!

There was no bomb daily and me being my umpatient self. Tryed the ethernet cable disconnect without success

I asked a nelf friend for help took him there he died from mobs down the ledge then he flown up as whisp rezzed there and summoned me using "have group will travel" and I got it.

This works cause Nelfs in whisp form fly inside the cave

ok the DC thing works for real i was farming my dailys and bam npc scan showd me i was searching everywhere but no jadefang so i checkt this post en i tried the dc thing you need to unplug and plug on the right moment els its fail after 14 tries it workt for me and now im a prowd owner of the non combat pet

Was able to tame on my hunter alt w/o quest or unplugging ethernet trick.

It did require a friend though. Had a friend with a quest who could 'bomb' himself up to jadefang's cave. I jumped out of the tunnel next to jadefang's cave onto the silver pilar beneath jadefang's cave.

Friend aggro's Jadefang brings him to edge of cave. I launch a freezing trap to freeze Jadefang. Friend jumped out of his cave and ran far enough out of range where Jadefang would normally reset. Except in this case he was frozen.

You need to watch target of target and as soon as Jadefang isn't targetting your friend is when to start taming. I had failed attempts that made it through the whole cast because I believe Jadefang still was aggro'd to my friend while frozen. So wait until friend runs out of range of Jadefang. When you tame him, your new pet is ported to your side from out of the cave!

You can tell this is legit from my alt with Jadefang and only friendly with Therazane (can't get daily quest til honored).

I used the disconnect strategy and I had a difficult time. It took me maybe 20 tries, but I finally got it. One tip to try that worked for me, after about 4 seconds I put the cord back in then I actually pulled it out again a few seconds later, then back in again. Instead of doing it all in one go, that's what finally worked for me. Good luck!

I am pretty upset because my NPC scanner went off, I was able to target him, but I had NO way to get to him. I really want to tame him to add to my rare collection, but I don't have the rockets. :/

Pretty frustrating to know he is up and no way to get to him...

You dont need the daily quest, you dont need to die... You can use disconnect / reconnect wireless internet or ethernet cable to fly directly to jadefang's cave.

One request to all non hunters: If you see a hunter camping Jadefang, and if he spawns, Please let the hunter tame the beast, instead of you killing it just for a vanity pet.

If anyone was considering, as a hunter, to trap a mob to stay in combat and then using nitro boosts malfunction to get knocked up and disengage back into the cave mouth, it doesn't work. For some reason I left combat while I had a mob trapped upon getting knocked into the air.

I had to use the Engineering Nitro Boosts method as I refuse to do any of the Therazane quests as I'm a scribe and so do not wish to torture myself. As a Goblin Priest this method was relatively easy.

I used the boost at the bottom of the ledge, levitated myself immediately and waited until I was about the right height and used the Goblin Rocket Jump racial. Took me about 20 boost uses before they failed to work, but in this case, persistance isn't futile.

So far I've been camping solidly since 1.30am, it is now 10.00am and still no sign of her. I'll update when she respawns.

I'm desperate for this vanity-pet as it will be my 100th.

(Edit1: 2.30pm. No sign of Jadefang. 13 hour camping.)
(Edit2: 2.40pm. Jadefang spawned. Total time camping: 13 hours 10 minutes. Solidly, with no afk's.)

Now the proud owner of 100 vanity pets. :)

I checked his location everyday for several days at different times each day, and Jadefang was there, i believe that the quest npc is rarer than Jadefang itself.

If, like me you were stupid enough to not keep the daily quest around. Or simply don't have access to the quest yet.

It is possible to let a guildie or other player place the bomb for you and shoot you up to his platform.

We also tried sending a hunter pet at him to pull it like that, but sadly the pet couldn't reach jadefang.

As of April 19th 2011, the disconnect method still works. I had a buddy disconnect my ethernet cable about half way into the first room as you enter the cave. We counted to five seconds and reconnected the cable. Taking the left tunnel–at five seconds we were just entering the last room where we needed to be. I'd say about 20 yards away from the ledge. I dismounted and started casting spells–camo, laying traps etc.

If we waited any longer we'd make it to the ledge but then get disconnected. It took about five tries before we decided to do the five second method.

Jadefang wasn't there of course. I figured as much. I used the guild summons to summon an alt so I can camp the place. Once its there I'll just guild summon my hunter...

I used the bomb strategy, and it worked perfectly!

Camped Jadefang for somewhere around three hours, got seriously bored and tabbed out. I kept switching back and forth just to keep from getting DC'd and the last time I tabbed back in, there he was! I had a 85 Blood Elf Mage tag him before I could start taming him, but when he saw what I was up to, he immidiately apologized and went invisible to drop aggro. I'll never rip on male blood elves again! XD I made sure to thank him up and down for the chance to tame Jadefang.

In short, thanks to that mage, I now have myself a beautiful new pet to add to my Hunter pet collection!

Good luck to those hunting for him! I shall return for the vanity pet later on. =)

As for the three hour camp time, I got seriously lucky. ;)

Got her today on Hellscream @ 1510 local time (1410 server). Was camping for about 5 hours earlier this morning. I had to leave for a few hours and when I logged back in she appeared after about 35 minutes. I love my new tiny shale spider :-)

Confirming that the nitros failure + hunter disengage doesn't work, as the nitros blowing you into the air takes you out of combat, so you can't disengage.

I tamed Jadefang at 1:30a server time, Borean Tundra. Was doing my Therazane dailies and NPC scanner went off. I knew where to go and how to get there, thanks to this thread. I'd had the quest and bombs in my bag for a few days... I knew she would spawn eventually while I was doing the dailies in the cave. If you have a guildie who isn't able to do the dailies yet, like I do, you can use the bombs from the daily to blast them backward into the cave also, so they can tame her or kill her for the companion pet. You both have to mount up, run in and jump, landing on the broken green column. From there, making sure your friend is placed so that they will make it into the cave when blasted.. put the bomb down in front of them. You'll be blasted backward as well... in the other direction. If you want to join them for a camping session, then just mount up and run the circle back to where you jump on the column... rinse & repeat. We've already tested this and it works.

Tip: if Jadefang is not spawned and you have the daily, don't turn in the quest so you can come back and try to get the rare spawn without having to wait for the daily to be available again (and without having to unplug cords).

I just signed in to share my story:

After dinging lvl 85, I started taming pets that I found "unique" and almost every single pet I had in mind to tame, was a rare spawn. After having a lucky streak ( in 2 days I tamed 7 rares including Skoll, Numaroc, Ghostcrawler and more) my list came to a tiny Shalespider named Jadefang. After acquiring some information about Jadefang, I went into Deepholm to see if he's there. I flew to the Crumbling Depths, mounted up on my raptor and went further into the cave. As I went deep enough I triggered NPCScan. My heart was beating as hard as the drums on my npscan alert. Jadefang was there, just waiting me to tame him, but the quest giver wasn't there. Then a NE hunter came by and I could just watch him killing himself, getting on the ledge in wisp form, resurrecting and taming this tiny creature. The only thing left for me to do was /cry my eyes out.

There's a MUCH simpler way to get to him that everyone seems to be overlooking (or just not posting about).

When you get to the large room where his ledge is, go straight up the ramp that leads to the ledge next to his. Position yourself with your bomb and be blown right across. I did it in the first try on three different characters with no problems, and all three have the pet. However, I had a hard time with using any other strategy.

Don't let the white crystal on the wall concern you, you go right over it.

3rd way to get Jadefang. Just find a Boreworm and Die next to his Ledge. you well Rez on the Ledge that he is located on. Got this Idea by watching (Syli- 85 BM Hunter, from Realm:Valen).

For the hunters that are somewhere between taming and killing:

Killing Jadefang will almost certainly drop the vanity pet, although I believe the 99% drop rate includes people who killed it twice so the pet wouldn't drop.

If you simply want to tame the only green shale spider in the game just for bragging, go ahead and be my guest.

If you care about stats, Jadefang has elevated resistances (in all schools of magic). Otherwise, same stats as Amthea which is just around the corner.

Zul'Jin server - Tamed Jadefang at 8:30pm 5/8/11

I was hovering above the spawn area outside the cave in the morning, NPCScan went off about 9am (can't say how much I love that sound), I flew into the cave (used the disconnect/reconnect method) got to Jadefang's cave and watched an 85 Orc Warrior killing Jadefang - dead at 9:10am. Came back around 3-3:30, no spider - camped for a few more hours and nothing. Went to Stonecore for a couple hours with a friend to kill Slabhide - no mount this time :P

Went back to Jadefang's cave around 5:30 - 6pm, no spider. Left for a little while, got back to cave at 6:30pm and camped until respawn at 8:30 - i was standing right at the back (nobody else there), tamed immediately - was about 11.5 hour spawn time.

I've read most of post's here and where people have stated they saw Jadefang either killed or tamed and then respawn, the spawn time seems to be mostly around 9-15 hours.

I'm planning to go back in the next week or two to kill for the vanity pet, as long as no Hunter is there for the tame. :)

I use Silver Dragon addon for rares and as I was randomly exploring the cavern it pinged with Jadefang. I had to look up on here about it as I had no idea, and being a 'companion' hunter I simply had to gain another little pet!
Since I'm engineering (and didn't have the daily bomb quest) I had to rely on Nitro Boosts to try and get up onto the ledge. I think I tried for half an hour and got bored when they kept working properly so I logged out.
I logged on the next day and Ricket appeared at the entrance to the cave with her daily! Talk about luck! I picked up the quest and followed previous posts for getting onto Jadefang's ledge. It worked perfectly from the green stone on first go, but no Jadefang. So I waited..... and got bored again.... and logged out.
Third day, lo-and-behold there's a chest sitting there begging to be opened. It contained 19s and some blue leather shoulders. I did a couple of random dungeons (half hour max) and prepared to log off again when suddenly Jadefang appeared! I now have my newest cutest little pet (number 107).

Hope my luck rubs off on those hoping to tame a cool spider or get a cute pet!

I think that was me! LOL Just remember that most people don't realize you don't need the daily to tame or kill Jadefang. I have since tamed her and killed her for the Tiny Shale spider and both times the dialy wasn't available. Happy Hunting =]

After camping this one for hours on end ... on and off over the last couple months, I finally decided to get serious about it and other than sleeping... this is how it went...
May 12th Jadefang spawned 1:45 am (Tamed by friendly kind hunter)
May 12th Jadefang spawned 12:34 pm (Tamed by me - finally)
Likely a spawn in here somewhere - ?
May 13th Jadefang spawned 4:04 pm (Killed for companion pet by me)
*Very few others around during all the hours camping - other than the hunter who tamed him first... and was so very helpful to me with information and .... even called me to Twilight Highlands to get Karoma!***

A note on spawntime:
Just killed jadefang at 16:00 on may 15.
Being a hunter, I stayed for the tame and camped the spot for 9 hours, went to bed, checked again at 7:00 monday morning. He wasn't there. Checked again at 7:45 - bam - there he was. So this time respawn took approx 16 hours.

Luckily I've been on my hunter twice when a guildie came across him while doing the above mentioned quest (you don't need to be on the quest, just ask a nearby ally who is on it to borrow a blast)... First time I tamed, Second time i killed him. So now I have a "Mother-Daughter" pair of Green Shale Spiders!

VERY IMPORTANT regarding the bomb method of reaching Jadefang---- there are other ways!

the daily quest to get the bomb item referred to can only be accepted if you've got the appropriate rep with Therazine- see below comments to see what the rep needs to be.

in fact, without the appropriate repuation with the faction, you can't even SEE the quest giver at the opening of the cave.

SO- if you don't have it, don't panic, and don't go wasting a week getting the rep! read on for other methods- ie: coasting in and/or death below!

personally, being a nelf, i pulled a worm under the ledge (be sure you have the right ledge. i'm just sayin. no point dying twice. >.> um. yeah.) and let it gnaw me to death. took ages (seriously- i'm a hunter. i'm made of cardboard, and yet it takes AGES to die by worm?) anyway- wisp'd back and up to the ledge, then parked there and waited.

doing dungeon or bg queue is a good way to kill the wait time, but i just spent the day leveling another toon, logging over every hour to see if jade had spawned yet. at 6pm, i got lucky :) (screenie showing my hunter and jade pending approval) XD
YEAY!

and now for my companion! >:D

Oh thank you for such a clear guide! It popped up on my npcscan and I was fortunate enough that the daily was up to use those bombs. I thought for sure after i figured it all out that someone would've gotten it before me, but i got it and my new awesome pet :)

Have had the daily in my list for over a week now, just drop by and check, long out there, do a random, whatever and return to visit and check when I can. Logged in a little bit before 8 pm eastern on Norgannon and turn around, bingo, there he is. Now I have to figure out a suitable name.

Don't know the spawn timer but hey, hope this helps someone.

I have been camping for a few hours waiting for her. If a hunter comes along, whomever gets her first gets her first. This goes for hunters and anyone who might be after the pet.
Just because it's a hunter trying for Jadefang doesn't mean they get any extra consideration because I'm only going for the vanity pet.
However, I have come across others camping and went about my way, since they were there first. That would be the only consideration I give.
It's hubris to think that a hunter should be given first shot, just because they're a hunter.

The unplug-trick still works!
After you unplug the cable (still flying ofc) count ~6 seconds and plug in it back, in room with big worm use left turn (it's ~1.5 second faster than right) and after landing use any spell/skill etc.
I did it after 5-6 attempts and after landing i got dc, but fortunately npcs managed to show and server saved my position ;-).

And now i'm another proudly owner of the Tiny Shale Spider :D

After hours of trying various things including many things suggested I was about out of ideas.

Being Horde I didn't have access to a Nightelf, my low latency made the Ethernet cable unplug trick seem impossible, and the daily quest wasn't up.

Then a guild mate of mine who was helping me out noticed I was able to place druid mushrooms fairly far back onto the ledge but still in LoS. He suggested to bring his Sub Rogue (only lv67 lol) and try shadow stepping one of the mushrooms. I summoned him to the spot (beware of worms for lower levels), dropped a dual flag and he successfully shadow stepped a mushroom onto the ledge. I logged on my main and he guild summoned me up there where I was able to kill Jadefang and claim my pet.

I used the disconnect method as well when I caught Jadefang on a daily-less day. For me, though, just unplugging the cable wasn't enough since it would boot me from the server pretty fast and I'd only make it to the colossal gyreworm room. Alternating plugging and unplugging my ethernet cable worked and I made it to the platform.

I'm on a wireless connection and I still made it happen. I got my pet and I am content :) Works like a charm! The pet reminds me a lot of the Replicators from Stargate SG-1.

Just went in on my druid and got killed by mob just down the ledge. Wisp in and ress atop of the ledge. Summon bf who wanted the vanitypet with guildperk and that was it :)

Just did everything I was meant to with Ricket's Tickers to propel me onto the ledge. NPCScan alerted me that Jadefang had spawned on the ledge, but she was not there. Nobody else was on the ledge, and there was no corpse...

ATTN Whisperwind... I have the last 3 spawn times for Jadefang. Starting with last night (server times), spawned @ 12:45am (tamed), Spawned this afternoon @ 3:59pm (tamed I believe) and again late tonight @ 1:12am. So excited to have caught this rare! I tried various ways of getting up the ledge as a warrior. none of them worked.

1) tried heroic leaping from the nearest crystal, this obviously no longer works
2) tried pulling one of the other spiders with my bow to put them into charge range and charge up - this *would* work except for the fact that I could not after 15 minutes of repositioning get a single shot on any of these spiders... the angle from the crystal in front of the ledge is too steep to be able to shoot the mobs with your bow.

did manage to get him though, late at night, NPCscan didnt go off till I was already well-inside the cave, used the bomb to get up and looted him!

I saw this Mob earlyer today at about 6:45 am on Shadow Council server time. However i got stuck in the small rocks in front of the cave that he resides in and my internet broke so. The spawn is legit.

It seems that the Nitro Boosts "exploit" has been "fixed" for those attempting to reach Jadefang's location. If Nitro Boosts fail while an engineer is attempting to reach Jadefang's ledge, the malfunction now appears to give the beloved Rocket Fuel Leak debuff instead of shooting you up into the air.

I believe the spawn timer is around 12 hrs. I decided to tame this pet after seeing it spawn on another server. I used the quest method of getting up there (using the bomb to launch myself on the ledge). I went there a couple days ago and saw another hunter waiting, so I logged off. The next day they told me they tamed it around 3:15pm server time (2:15 PST), I waited until about 10:30pm ST and nothing, logged on again about 4:15am ST and it was there, so I tamed it. Came back at 3:15pm ST the same day and there it was again. I'm on Icecrown if that helps.

While doing my Therazane dailies, npcscan triggered for Terborus (which I killed) and then for Jadefang immediately afterwards. Confused about Jadefang's location I came here and saw the disconnection trick and daily trick, but today the bomb daily wasn't available. On my mac I tried my own method.
I ran out of the cave and mounted my flyer, started flying in and turned off airport, flew into the hole where Jadefang spawns and turned airport on again. Waiting to DC I was stunned to see that after about 10 seconds I didn't DC and instead was back online. I killed Jadefang and looted the spider.
Maybe the Windows equivalent works, turning off internet and just flying in there then turning it back on.
Either way I'm really happy with my new little pet (99/100)
And now.. back to farming Aeonaxx, what I was doing in Deepholm for the last 11 days to begin with.

I agree with loveablenight with regards to the spawn timing. Jadefang was killed before I could get to him today at around 8:30am server time on Thunderhorn, and I was able to tame him tonight at around 8:30pm... right around the 12-hour mark. Obviously, the spawn time will always vary, so we can't definitively say it's 12 hours on the dot, but it's a good ball-park figure.

Funny thing is, tonight I'd decided to practice the disconnect trick so I would be prepared for an actual Jadefang spawn. I was having trouble doing it, though, and because it took forever to successfully get up onto the ledge, I figured I'd leave my hunter there whenever I logged out and not move her from that spot until I was able to tame Jadefang, however long that took. Which, as it turned out, wasn't very long. About twenty minutes later, I was watching a movie with my husband when I happened to look over and saw that NPCScan had gone off. I lunged for the computer, threw down an ice trap, and the rest, as they say, is history. :)

I'd love to find him again to get the little companion to use when I have Jadefang out - do the big pet / little pet thing - but I just can't bear the thought of killing him. He's too cute... and too rare.

If you did indeed find that false lag idea as brilliant yet irritating as I did after about 10 attempts, try as someone else mentioned and unplug/plug several times on your way there. This is the only way I was able to do it.. I unplugged for about 2 seconds, and plugged it back in, then just a moment later removed it. Landed right on the ledge, waited a moment for things to load up (may have to try /reload), and finally was united with Jadefang. Hooray!

I was doing the dailyes with my hunter when i saw jadefang. I jump on my priest so i decide to give a try to the Dc trick but after 2 attempt i tried to get a guiddie over. He comes(oh btw he was a DK niteelf) so he did the flying spirit thing and we (well he since i never had the LOS) kill jadefang and no cigar for me. He was the only seeing the loot so i got me thinking about having a nite elf rezzing class might make it possible.

ps my guiddie got the achievement can i keep him....
so thats my 3rd sighting of jadefang in less than a week

Found her today at 5:48 am server time about 12 minutes before servers went down. :)
Wasn't camping her or particularly looking for her, but I was pleased when NPC scan went off anyways.

Im a hunter and a hardcore pet collector. Yesterday around 3pm I want to check if Jadefang was there....the NPC scan went off and gave me a heart attack as always. I quickly started to Tame it and BLAM...I got Jadefang as my hunter pet. BUT...where was the vanity pet? Some idiot told me I got both when I tamed it. So it was a big facepalm moment right there.

Today at around 7pm I was bored and went back to the Jadefang location to just camp wile doing other things on my computer. About 10-15min later the NPC scan went off again (I had deleted the cache). Jadefang was back! So now I finaly got the vanity pet (number 160)! Yeyz!

As of 4.2, the Night Elf strat still works. But if you're NOT a Night Elf and can't get the daily, here's one thing you can do:

REQUIRED:
Night Elf friend with Have Group, Will Travel (guild perk)

Have your NE friend die right under the position of Jadefang (in the tunnel below his chamber).
NE Friend releases, flies back, but goes into the upper chamber where Jadefang is.
NE Friend summons you via Have Group, Will Travel
Kill or tame Jadefang
Have a great day!

I started camping this today about 10pm server time (not sure the exact time) and within a few minutes of finding my way onto the ledge (bomb method) I sighted a hunter running around with the tame Jadefang. I sent a tell and she said she had tamed him about four hours prior. Assuming her time was close to accurate, the 12 hour spawn was pretty close. I had been off and on all day, with a few hours break to run dailies and eat etc (I'm playing on an American server while living temporarily in Japan, so my afternoon is early morning server time) and about 7:45am server time, I tabbed back in from reading a web page and found him sitting right in front of me. He'd obviously spawned within the last five minutes. Quick kill and the pet was mine! Yay!

For some reason NPCscan didn't alert me. I had downloaded it just that afternoon for the very purpose my this hunt, so that was a disappointment. I think it has something to do with the cache options.

Just killed Jadefang on Genjuros Server (needed the Сланцевый паучок more than the combat pet)

It spawned into the cave, at a place un-reachable via a walking path.

All you have to do if you find your self into my situation is to use the Бомбы Рикет from Подземная экономика quest,
and sit on the bomb, facing the direction you want to "fly" to ;)

Finally nabbed this one after camping her for nearly all day (since around 10AM). Camped fairly straight, just by using dual monitors to keep an eye out for it, but I AFKed for about two hours. Came back and logged in at 9:15PM and wasn't even in for a minute as I watched her spawn right in front of me. I'm willing to guess it was right around the 12 hour mark.

On a fairly low-to-medium pop server (Drak'Tharon US) and only saw one other player all day, who didn't seem to know why I was there.

I used the DC method; flew in, immediately DCed myself, took a left at the fork, and when I was around 1 second from the ledge I flipped my net back on. Got to the ledge after a few botched tries, started casting, and the server barely caught up before it booted me anyway. However, when I relogged, I was still there.

I sat with my back to the wall in a cubby hole about halfway down the cave and pointed my camera at the back wall. I also used (and highly suggest using) my Winter Veil Disguise Kit, as it makes you immune to all knock-backs.

Tamed him on Draenor-US at 6:00 PM PST. The disconnect trick still works, but is extremely tricky. I tried it maybe 10-15 times before I got it just right.

I'm not sure if the disconnect trick has been fixed or if I'm just having terrible luck with it, but jadefang is spawned right this second, no one is around, and I get all the way to the ledge every time only to be dc'd and log in right where I started. Getting really frustrated, because I know the day I finally get the quest I know I'll never see her again. T-T

Edit: The day after I post this I get the quest. Now I'm sitting here waiting. Sighhh.

Alas I fear you have all been doing it the hard way with all this unplugging your net stuff. You can simply bomb-launch yourself from the place where pebble spawns, you don't need to jump to the rock.. just place the bomb in the middle of the ledge. Move 6 inches in the direction of Jadefang's perch and wait. Seconds later you arrive on Jadefang's ledge ready for your many hours of camping pleasure

After 3 days of waiting, and checking, and re-checking...and waiting...finally found this beauty completely unguarded. Dauphim 11:32 server time on Tanaris. Used the bomb from the daily to get over to Jadefang's ledge. Worked like a charm, and now I have an insanely cute little spidey pet.

Just went to have a look if the quest was there and it was so my first time able to go get the rare, but didn't show up on npc scan, so i figured i'd just jump up there so i knew how for future, land up the back where he spawns and he spawned on me, yay tiny shale spider and the chest dropped an 83 tanking gun, bargain

Had no idea when Jadefang last spawned, I camped in its cave for about an hour.

Used the bomb trick to get up there. It has been explained plenty of times how/where to go.

NPCScan went off at 14:32:38 server time. (That's 2:32 PM and 38 seconds for those of you who can't read 24-hour time). This was on the Ysondre PvP server.

i have the easiest way for a night elf to go there, i don't know if the others can do it. just get under the entrance of the tunnel. pull a mob and get yourself killed. when released you will have a flying wisp (there is where i don't know if the other classes will have a flying spirit, i suppose yes as a flying mount). so you go up the entrance of the tunnel and you release. here you go you reached it without any quests.

i got that idea when my npc_scan went off and i wanted it so bad. so the quest was not there. and a mob started to attack me and i had that crazy idea and it worked.

I don't know if someone mentioned it, but you can ALWAYS have the bomb available.

I saw jadefang when I didn't have it, gave up, saw it today again and it was dead.

But now I have the quest which gives the bomb!

I will NEVER complete it, so I can always jump here.

So if you don't have the quest, no problems, check everyday and as soon as you get it keep it on your quest log until jadefang has been killed and you get the pet.

I will put some details on the respawn rate when it respawns, although from your comments it seems 8-14 hours.

ULDAMAN realm; my NE Hunter was able to tame Jadefang at 9:15 am realm time (used the Night Elf die below ledge and & wisp form fly up to ledge to resurrect); he spawned as I waited (for about 1 hour camping).

I went back at 8:40 pm the same day and used the same die and wisp up to the ledge; Jadefang was already there again; this time I was able to acquire the little guy as a companion pet, too.

Dislike seeing ~6 pages of people talking about using the bomb method or disconnect method of getting up there. Unless you have new information, why the hell are you posting the SAME thing?
It would be much appreciated to know spawn timers, rather than how to do the same two methods of getting up to this rare.

After a bit of research, I set off to camp Jadefang a few days ago. After a few hours of nothing, I got bored and logged for the night at about 2am ST. I logged in at about 7am and saw a hunter sitting in my spot with the tiny shale spider. He told me he had found Jadefang at 5am and was camping again to tame him.
