Ok, maybe I'm being oversensitive. I've got a just dinged 63 DK and I'm tired of running these endless kill 100 to get 8 drops in Zangarmarsh quests. I find this nifty little starter quest so I figure I'll give it a try. Turns out you've got 3 67's to kill to get this quest. I figure I'll give it a shot. My 63 kills 3 67's and they barely hurt me, I get the quest. I go to accept it and it tells me I've got to be 64.....I'm thinking that if I can take out that many 67's without even breathing hard, the rest of Nagrand isn't going to hurt me much. If your bad enough to get the quest, shouldn't you be able to run with it.

That's odd that they have this listed as an 18% drop rate. I just killed all 3 of them together and it dropped 3 Invasion Plans (not that you can loot all 3 but still 3 dropped). So it appears as though this is either a 100% drop rate or I just happened to get lucky. Also, you have to make sure that you're at least Neutral with Mag'har.

Drop rate is 100% if you've not already done it.

WoWhead displays it as a lower drop rate, because players who have already finished the quest have looted, and not obtained the drop.

These three mobs patrol Nagrand's roads. If you can't find them, run/fly along the roads until you do because they may be somewhere else in the zone. I don't know the entire route they patrol but they don't just stand outside of either town. I've seen them on the road just north of Sunspring Post and I killed them NE of Oshu'gun so I imagine the patrol path is pretty large.

I've been trying to farm Murkblood Invasion Plans for days, yet it was always the same result, I'd get those potions or some other low-drop-chance items a bit easier but never the "plans". Am I missing something? Or do I just need to be higher than lvl20 to obtain it?

Just looted the murkblood invasion plans off these guys on my 1st attempt as a lvl 60 during shadowlands. Honored rep with kurenai (dont know if that matters)

I did this today on Classic WoW.

These NPCs spawn roughly at 34, 23

I think in reality they walk the roads, so the location is not always the same coordinates.

They spawn at exactly "/way 34.12, 21.38" every 7 minute

It appears you have to be exactly within the Neutral reputation rank with The Mag'har (and The Consortium if you want to be able to pick up Stealing from Thieves and A Head Full of Ivory, for the Nagrand Slam achievement which is REQUIRED for the Loremaster of Outland achievement). So, if you have gone past neutral (if you are 1 point into friendly or above), then you are locked out of both Nagrand Slam and Loremaster of Outland achievements. You can ask a GM through a ticket if they're kind to reduce both your The Mag'har and The Consortium reputations to neutral. Or do the zone quests on alt.
