The Shadowlands launch is almost upon us, and if you're looking to get ahead of the pack in order to start your journey to level 60 as soon as possible, you need every advantage you can get. We're going to ruin that advantage by letting everyone know exactly where they need to be in order to begin the
Shadowlands
campaign questline as soon as possible tomorrow!
For Alliance, this will be right in front of Varian's statue and the waterfall at Stormwind Keep, while Horde players will get their quest just before Grommash Hold in the Valley of Strength. Here you will meet with Highlord Darion Mograine as part of the introductory quest

Keep in mind, there are advantages and disadvantages to this strategy, as a lot of players are likely to be congregated there tomorrow. This means you may have lag issues due to loading into such a heavily populated area, but seeing as you need to go there anyway in order to start the questline, it shouldn't really matter whether you're loading in there, or flying in from a nearby zone. That said, if you're less inclined to log in and start leveling as soon as possible, and more interested in logging in to make sure all of your addons work and alts are in order before you get around to the expansion content, then it might be better to avoid these areas for the time being.

, letting us know that you will not actually need to log out in order to begin your journey through Shadowlands. If everything goes according to plan, servers will not go down, and the new Shadowlands content should become available at 3:00 p.m. PST (6:00 p.m. EST).
