Today we are highlighting another topic from our

guide: Creating Death Knights and Demon Hunters!
While in BFA both classes start at 55 and 98 respectively, in Shadowlands both will start at level 8, which is the Shadowlands equivalent to level 16 or 17 in BFA. This means that if you create Death Knights or Demon Hunters before Pre-Patch arrives and Enter World with them once just to be sure, they will be at higher levels than if you created them after Pre-Patch arrives.
Knowing this, if you have plans to eventually level new Death Knights or Demon Hunters, it is a good call to create them now, even if you don't plan to play with them right away. While Blizzard has not confirmed this method, there is a high chance it works once Pre-Patch arrives.
With this, fresh Death Knights created before Shadowlands will be around level 27, while fresh Demon Hunters will be around level 39, both pretty far from their initial level 8 in Shadowlands.
