Upcoming Weekly Chests Will Contain a Corrupted Item (Except Trinkets)

On January 28th (NA) and January 29th (EU), the first Season 4 Mythic+ and PvP Weekly Chests will become available, offering item level 475 gear at the upper end. These chests are special in Season 4, as they will always drop a piece of Corrupted Gear, unless your Weekly Chest contains a Trinket as Trinkets cannot Corrupt.

Corruption from the Weekly Chest
Corruption has been a hot topic in Patch 8.3 with the drop rates for Corrupted Items being very low. These upcoming Weekly chests will offer the highest chance of getting a Corrupted piece thus far, plus the piece of gear can be of a Mythic item level.
Trinkets are
unable to be Corrupted
and thus are the only pieces from the Weekly Mythic+ chest that will not roll with a Corrupted affix. Outside of trinkets, there are
51 possible Corruption rolls
and in order to get the exact Corruption that you want, you'll have less than a 2% chance.
