WoW Prog Stats
uses data from Warcraft Logs to create detailed charts and aggregated statistics tracking guild Mythic raid progression, as well as overall pull count, progression time, and item level stats across all guilds in Mythic Castle Nathria.
Wow Prog Stats
For example, the
tier page for Castle Nathria
shows that Mythic Sire Denathrius typically takes between 113 and 190 pulls or 15 - 24.4 hours of time spent fighting the boss across the 360 recorded kills on Warcraft Logs. Along with average item level, this could be useful in knowing if your guild should continue to reclear in order to gear up further or extend their raid lockout while working on the boss, as well as how long they should expect to spend before beating it - all very important information when finishing a boss or the tier may conflict with school, holidays, or other social obligations affecting your raid schedule.
Upon searching for a guild or inputting your own logs, the site displays even more detailed charts and information for each boss. Using the creator's own raid group as an example, the weekend raid team from <Occasional Excellence> defeated Mythic Stone Legion Generals after 225 pulls and 27.4 hours of progression time, falling within the typical pull count and progression time at about the 27th percentile over all kills. Each of these charts represents a single raid night, as recorded on Warcraft Logs, with each dot on the chart showing how far the group went on a single pull, along with a trend line for pulls throughout the night.
Some may see these charts as a mere novelty, but the site's aim is to provide important data to group officers and raid leaders - which bosses are giving them the most trouble, how they fare against other guilds, the average ilevel for each kill, and how long they should expect to spend on upcoming bosses. This can be of particular importance to groups with limited raid time, as they may need to plan further ahead when deciding whether to reclear or extend. Likewise, players looking for guilds can use this tool to research groups before applying, seeing where they've bottlenecked or which bosses gave them the most trouble, as well as fact checking their raid times, to more easily tell whether the guild's advertised "8 hour raid week with overtime when close to a kill" is actually just a 12 hour guild.
As an actively updated tool, WoW Prog Stats is continually improving, most recently supporting dark mode, mobile phones, split logs, and
private logging
, with a detailed
FAQ page
providing an explanation of its many features.
