Torghast Twisting Corridors Account-wide Progression

We've reported quite a bit on Twisting Corridors which opened this week, and now we're back with another useful detail on account-wide layer progression.
To recap, Twisting Corridors differs from regular Torghast Wings in several ways:
They are open all the time, not just on certain weeks
They offer cosmetic rewards only,
no
Soul Ash
There are 18 floors in a Layer, rather than 6
The Twisting Corridors are a mix environments from the other wings
It now appears that Layer unlocks on the Twisting Corridors are account bound. If you clear Level 1 on one character, you can then access Level 2 on that character as well as on your Level 60 alts who have completed the unlock questline.
As we reported earlier
, a catch-up mechanism for opening the Twisted Corridors has been implemented: where the unlock questline was previously available one quest per week, players who fell behind and alts no longer need to wait as long to get the next quest. Torghast upgrades bought from Ven'ari are also account bound, leaving your alts in a very good spot.
This really opens up the Twisting Corridors to all characters and allows a lot of freedom for what characters you want to run, when, and at what level. If for example, your main is melee or a healer, once you reach a certain Layer you may prefer to switch to a tank alt to progress. That aside, unless you absolutely love Torghast and want to run it for fun, this is a somewhat dubious bonus. Since the rewards for the Twisting Corridors are both account bound and only obtainable once, the replayability of the Twisting Corridors remains low.
