Shadowlands PC Gamer Magazine November Cover - CGI Version of the Jailer

The Jailer is on the November cover of PC Gamer magazine, with a new enhanced CGI appearance that hints at future cinematics.

This isn't the first time PC Gamer has run covers featuring
World of Warcraft
, like
Sylvanas from Battle for Azeroth
on the September 2018 issue.

, has reached out in the Wowhead comments to share an
early teaser
and
final cover
for the November issue of the magazine!
The Jailer looks pretty similar to his in-game model, with grey spiky armor and runes that evoke Icecrown Citadel aesthetics, fitting as Frostmourne and the Helm of Domination came from the
Shadowlands
. He also looks quite similar to the Nathrezim in this close-up shot, which has been a very hot topic of discussion recently due to the
Enemy Infiltration book
documenting a cosmic-wide war very likely carried out by the Nathrezim!
The presence of this CGI Jailer also strongly implies that we'll be getting more high-definition cinematics in the style of the Saurfang saga from
Battle for Azeroth
and the
Shadowlands
reveal cinematic. We're very excited for even more cinematics, as the animated
Afterlives
shorts have whet our appetite. Who do you think will show up in these cinematics? Blizzard already has high-res characters for Anduin, Thrall, Bolvar, and Sylvanas, all of whom are in the Shadowlands.
Several hours after publishing this article, Razaron#5205 kindly reached out to Wowhead with more pictures of the magazine! The subscriber copy of the magazine has a plain cover, and while the interior article doesn't really reveal anything new, the artwork is very pretty and we can see once again how Blizzard is emphasizing the importance of choosing a covenant.
