A new small secret has been discovered in Grizzly Hills! A new murloc tribe has settled there, the purple Glimmerfin tribe, and helping them out will give you the new purple murloc battle pet

This appears to be a tie-in secret to the
Murloc Funko
added today as part of
Blizzard GearFest
!
To obtain Glimr, you need to complete a short questline involving helping the Glimmerfin tribe.
Before starting the secret, it is advisable (but not required) to have access to an Aquatic Mount, as several parts of the quest happen in fatigue zones.

King Mgrl-Mgrl will mention that the scale belongs to a murloc tribe he has never seen in Northrend, and sends you to welcome them in

, by gathering meat from the crabs around the area the Glimmerfin Scout was found. The crabs can be found underwater south of Venture Bay. This quest is then delivered to the leader of the Glimmerfin murlocs,

. The purple murloc trainer has two aquatic and one critter pet and should be an easy battle for anyone who has any strong level 25 pets.
When the trainer is defeated, you'll return to the Glimmerfin Oracle, who shows you he has an egg! The Oracle passes the impression that this is an important occasion for the Glimmerfin Tribe, and asks you to get special seaweed to help hatch the egg in
