Raid Difficulties Can No Longer Be Changed Inside A Raid in Shadowlands - Harder To Farm Mounts

One of the undocumented changes in the Shadowlands pre-patch is a change to difficulties for Legacy raids - You can no longer change raid difficulties when inside a raid.
This change has a negative impact on mount farmers, as this breaks a popular lockout saving method for certain mounts, like

from Icecrown Citadel - A player would generate an 11/12 25-man Normal lockout on an alt they did not care about, then invite the character who would kill

, have them zone in ICC, save themselves to the 25-man Normal lockout, then leave the group with the lockout alt and change the difficulty to 25-man Heroic. This would allow people to instantly teleport to the Throne Room of Icecrown and kill the Lich King without needing to go through any of the previous bossses.
It is currently unknown if this change is intended or not.
