Prolific Actor and World of Warcraft Narrator Earl Boen Passed Away at 81

Prolific film and voice actor Earl Boen has passed away at the age of 81, as confirmed by a family member earlier today.
Best known as criminal psychologist Dr. Peter Silberman in the Terminator series of movies, Boen also lent his voice to World of Warcraft, portraying the original game Narrator, Magtheridon in the Burning Crusade and Legion, Hekima the Wise in Cataclysm, and King Terenas Menethil II in Wrath of the Lich King.
Boen voiced King Terenas in Wrath of the Lich King, as well as several other World of Warcraft characters over various expansions.
With more than fifty years of film and voice work,
his other credits
are too numerous to mention here, though video game fans may have recognized his voice as LeChuck in The Secret of Monkey Island, Lord Ulbrec in Icewind Dale II, Sergei Gurlukovich in Metal Gear Solid II, and many more. Although he may no longer be with us, his work will live on forever.
