After a quiet few days of progression during the holidays, both Pieces and FatSharkYes defeated Mythic Stone Legion Generals today! It's the big difficulty barrier in Mythic Castle Nathria as both Complexity Limit and Echo were able to kill Sire Denathrius before any other guild got Stone Legion Generals down. With both guilds now working on Mythic Sire Denathrius, the Race to World 3rd is on!
Pieces defeated Mythic Stone Legion Generals after a gargantuan 372 pulls, so you can imagine they were very excited in their kill reactions!
In terms of composition:
2 Tanks: A Brewmaster Monk and Vengeance Demon Hunter.
5 Healers: 3 Restoration Shaman, 1 Holy Paladin, 1 Discipline Priest
5 Melee DPS: 3 Unholy Death Knights, 1 Havoc Demon Hunter, 1 Fury Warrior
8 Ranged DPS: 3 Hunters, 1 Boomkin, 2 Mage, 2 Warlock
FatSharkYes defeated Mythic Stone Legion Generals a few hours later, in a cool 184 pulls--less than half the number of pulls required by Pieces.
In terms of composition, FatSharkYes used less melee, leading to significantly more ranged DPS:
2 Tanks: A Protection Warrior and Vengeance Demon Hunter.
5 Healers: 2 Restoration Shaman, 2 Holy Paladin, 1 Discipline Priest
3 Melee DPS: 2 Unholy Death Knights, 1 Windwalker Monk
10 Ranged DPS: 5 Hunters, 2 Boomkin, 1 Mage, 2 Warlock
