is a toy item added in Patch 8.2 that has since puzzled collector communities such as the
Secret Finding Discord
, as this item was never found. Today, a tweet by Lead Rewards Designer
Russ Petersen
has finally revealed what many members of the collector community have suspected: This toy has never been obtainable at any point since its release.
This toy notably made its rounds on the
hotfixes for July 2nd, 2019
, when it was stated that this toy would finally be obtainable. Since then, this toy resurfaced in certain communities such as the
r/WoW subreddit
, with the most recent discussion thread posted a day ago, "celebrating" the one-year anniversary of the Pearl of the Abyss' release.
According to
Jeremy Feasel
on Twitter, this goes even further: The toy was actually a placeholder item that was never made into a real item, hence why you couldn't see it in your character's toy box.
It is currently unknown if this toy will ever become available in-game.
