Turns out Nathanos Blightcaller really doesn't like people climbing up on his roof, as the
Shadowlands
Pre-patch world boss ruthlessly flings players from it. Presumably, it's meant to stop ranged players from standing out of harms way during the encounter, but the sheer velocity at which he launches players off the roof is quite comical to say the least. Redditor pursu777

as they were sent hurtling to their doom.
Hilariously, it seems that Nathanos also goes after players who go in his house as well - ascending to the second floor is apparently close enough to the roof to cause him to launch wall piercing arrows at any player bold enough to enter the Blightcaller's bedroom. Unfortunately, although his arrows seem to be able to go through walls, players cannot, so instead of getting knocked back out of range, Nathanos ruthlessly targets those players until they're dead.
If you haven't fought Nathanos yet, he drops
ilevel 115 loot
, equivalent to Heroic Ny'alotha, which is slightly better than what you can get out of the other rares in the
pre-patch event
. There's also a special cinematic, so make sure you don't miss out... just don't stand on the roof!
