Venture Plan is an interface improvement addon for the covenant Command Table adventure missions which helps predict the success or failure of missions before you send them. Along with a better layout of mission information and rewards, the
Cursed Adventurer's Guide
feature evaluates both teams in order to determine the results and make it easier for you to setup successful missions.

The UI shows a lot more information than normal, starting with a card-style layout for all current missions in order to display their level, rewards, enemy team health, damage, mission anima cost, duration, and time before the mission expires. Inside the missions is where the addon truly makes a difference though, expanding tooltips to show who each character will attack and special ability targeting; information which the built in Cursed Adventure's Guide tool uses to evaluate both teams and determine the outcome.
Unlike previous expansion addons though, Venture Plan isn't fully automatic. If you want to actually succeed in the missions, you need to setup the teams yourself and click on the
Cursed Adventurer's Guide
to evaluate success or failure - in most cases it gives you an accurate prediction of the number of rounds before success/failure and the amount of health remaining on your heroes. Venture Plan is a little less dummy proof than previous addons though: it won't auto-fill the perfect team for you and not every mission has complete data for the Guide to evaluate, but the adventures themselves are much more complicated due to how many more hero options and special abilities there are in Shadowlands adventures - users can help improve the addon by
submitting reports
to improve the quality of its predictions.
Another fun feature is the
Doomed Run
, marked by a skull icon, which allows you to automatically send an expedition of your least leveled heroes. While their adventure is clearly doomed to fail, it's used as a way to easily farm the guaranteed experience rewards and level up those adventurers faster, which is usually more important than returning with an extra 325 gold.
Unlike most addons, Venture Plan is not on Curse Forge, which may require you to manually install it, but our setup and installation guide will help people who have forgotten how to do that. Keep in mind that because it is an addon for WoW, it is not compatible with the app, so porcelain commanders are on their own!
