Acquiring the Malefic Core
You can obtain the

from either of the following objectives as long as your Cloak is Rank 15:
Complete all four objective areas and the boss in a Horrific Vision.
Defeat N’Zoth the Corruptor in Ny’alotha on Normal (or higher) difficulty and not be saved.
If you have a Rank 15 Cloak and don't have 107 Corruption Resistance on your cloak, you can get a maximum of 2 FREE
