Earlier today, the first drop that we've confirmed of the

was found on the corpse of a Bloodraged Pterrordax in Zuldazar. The Pterrordax Egg drop starts the
month-long quest chain
for the

achievement and the

mount and players have found the first quest to be shareable, allowing you to start the quest without having to farm the egg yourself.
The Quest has been hotfixed to be no longer shareable.

During the BFA Alpha, the

had close to a 100% drop rate from Pterrordax but near the end of the Beta cycle the drop rate was massively reduced to where players were wondering if the drop was moved. However, earlier today, the first drop that we've confirmed of the
Яйцо терродактиля
occurred on live servers by a
Bloodraged Pterrordax in Zanchul, Zuldazar (41,17)
. It appears to have a very small drop rate with many players reporting many hours spent farming this mount. There have also been reports of other drop locations including some questing zones in Nazmir, but we haven't seen any confirmation yet.
We talked with
Jrammy
(who has an impressive
Mount collection
), who was in the group and he gave us some details on how it dropped.
He was farming in a random party in Zanchul for 5-6 hours, when the

dropped for Lollÿpopp-Zul'Jin"

The Mage was able to share the first quest
Дитя Па'ку
with the rest of the party. Sharing the quest also gave each member of the party their own
Яйцо терродактиля
and allowed them to start the month-long quest chain.

is only available to Horde players that are level 120 and takes you on a month-long quest of taking care of your own Pterrordax. Take care of Kua'fon every day by completing a daily quest, with some story quests in between, and after a long month, you'll be able to ride Kua'fon into battle! Learn more in our
