LIVE
event giving
exclusive tournament realm access to all participants
! This tournament will have an MDI style format including sign-ups and time trials, followed by a live two-day tournament with a chance at winning some awesome prizes.
What is KSM?
Keystone Masters is a community esports organization that strives to add value to World of Warcraft's esports ecosystem, providing community-driven format innovations. KSM aims to provide the community with quality entertainment year-round, regardless of the ebbs and flows of the official WoW esports seasons. Entering a fresh season with a new affix and two new Mythic+ dungeons found in Mechagon, KSM will provide a platform for both amateur and skilled players to showcase their abilities and highlight the new Season 4 content.
Details
First and foremost, this is a community event. We want this tournament to be fun for both the players and to be entertaining for the viewers. We've done our best to create an MDI-style tournament with some added twists based on community interest and feedback. Some examples of these are:
The option to have a 6th player. This allows flexibility in teammates as a backup or to use as a strategic advantage
Limit of one spec per dungeon. Essentially this rule has been implemented to prevent the triple Rogue or double Deathknight comps we've been seeing abused in previous MDIs. We hope this will provide more variety in class selection.
Practice time was a huge turn-off for many MDI participants. Dungeons and affixes will be known ahead of time to reduce the amount of "work" players have to go through.

In addition to the live format, we've also added some entertainment for viewers, including an awesome set of casters, unique player interviews and some fun exhibition matches put on by your favorite streamers and community members! Of course, it's not a tournament without a prize pool. Winners will receive goodies including Blizzard game time, a 3 month subscription to
Raidbots
and more! Time trials will begin in a couple of weeks so gather your team and go sign up. The tournament will be held on March 14th and 15th so mark those calendars!
