This afternoon on Sunday, January 30th, world first contenders Echo and Team Liquid will be speed racing through Mythic Sanctum of Domination in a special charity fundraising event for
Rise Above The Disorder
, while contending against special self-imposed challenges during each of the ten boss encounters!
The event begins today at noon Pacific Time / 3 PM Eastern / 2100 CET on the

Already having
raised an astonishing $61,000
for charity, all proceeds from the event go toward
Rise Above The Disorder
, a non-profit organization which provides free mental health care for people all over the world. The event will begin

To make the race through Mythic Sanctum of Domination a little more interesting, the
newly rebranded Team Liquid
(formerly known as Limit) and most recent
world first champions Echo
will have to deal with special self-imposed challenges during each of the ten boss encounters:
As both guilds are Horde, the race will begin with a literal race via ground mount from the Wetlands to the Oribos portal in Orgrimmar, from which they may proceed to the raid entrance and face off against
The Terragrue
.
For
Eye of the Jailer
, players will only be allowed to RP walk, rather than run at full speed.
When facing
The Nine
, Skyja must fall before Kyra or Signe are defeated, meaning all three bosses must be fought for the majority of the encounter.
During
Soulrender Dormazain
, players must stay in the back of the room while dodging

may not be used for breaking chains.
Players will not be allowed to use dispels when fighting the
Remnant of Ner'zhul
.
Each guild will be required to raise the gibbets and complete the

While tanking the
Guardian of the First Ones
, one tank on each team must be blindfolded and required to soak at least one part of the combo.
The Fatespawn Monstrosity adds spawned during the second phase of
Fatescribe Roh-Kalo
may not be killed.

Kel'Thuzad
, the

pools of silence which spawn Frostbound Devoted may not be stacked.
Sylvanas Windrunner
will have a hidden challenge to be revealed during the livestream.
Additionally, raid-wide donation tiers will allow viewers to add a random challenge to the next boss encounter, such as muting officers and raid leaders, forcing the raid to clear extra trash, and restricting players to only shouting or only whispering throughout the encounter. Between the antics of each raid dealing with these unique challenges and the intervention of viewers making it even more difficult, this event promises to be a lot of fun, so make sure you tune in this Sunday to help support a great cause!
