Dratnos and Tettles Discuss Their Top 5 Most Exciting Things Coming in Patch 9.2!

Patch 9.2 is almost upon us! As the excitement builds, Dratnos and Tettles share the parts of the patch that jump out the most to them in this week's GG WoW video.
The first item on the list is
Class Set bonuses
! This feature returns after a 3 year absence from WoW, and comes with several new tweaks aimed at making it more friendly to the players that didn't get to interact with it in its previous forms. As usual, the raid bosses drop set pieces, but unlike before you can also get them from your Weekly Vault, and after a couple months you'll be able to turn any item into a class set item. Hopefully this will expand the amount of people that get to enjoy the feeling of a slightly different playstyle for their spec that kept the game fresh for raiders in expansions past.
The new seasonal affix, Encrypted, will be coming on the second week of the patch! It's promising for several reasons, first of which is the fact that it'll be the first seasonal affix this expansion to not feature massive lethal minibosses. That change of pace alone will be nice, but the affix itself promises an exciting set of potential rewards from potentially massive bursts of damage to a full minute of massively increased movement speed and stealth which might open up entirely new paths through dungeons!
Sepulcher of the First Ones
is the new raid, opening in a slightly different schedule than usual - three bosses won't be available during the first week of the raid! Those three bosses have also not seen any PTR testing, which creates a potentially very exciting progression experience for top end raiders and those who follow the race, though the potentially for buggy encounters is worrying!
We'll also get to put on a
second legendary five weeks
into the patch, which represents a very large power spike and, depending on which spec and covenant, potentially a big shakeup in how your spec feels to play. The timing on this remains controversial, especially if its arrival trivializes raid encounters or those encounters are close to impossible without them, but it remains a very exciting feature of the patch.
Finally, the fact that the grinds are much less pushed this patch is a welcome change - many hours of playtime in both the Maw and Korthia were rewarded earlier this expansion, not to mention a Torghast reward structure that has been largely abandoned in favor of the new Cosmic Flux currency that drops from pretty much everywhere. Though it's still worth progressing the campaign and earning Enlightened reputation, players who felt burned out by the nature of the Korthia or Maw grinds should find 9.2 much friendlier!
