Blizzard released the
Shadowlands Launch Cinematic
earlier today, and the Shadowlands Collector's Edition Art Book includes some art used for the cinematic.
The art book includes many gorgeous examples of Shadowlands concept art, which we've
highlighted in the past
, but the following images always stood out as they were created in a different style than the in-game concept art.
The art used for environments and characters in the Shadowlands launch cinematic is more realistic and highly rendered than the art used for in-game models like armor and weapons. We're excited that this could mean more CGI cinematics in the future for Shadowlands, helping to drive the narrative forward and enhance dramatic moments.'
