Since the
Soul Ash mission hotfix
last week, players of weaker covenants have finally started finding success with the new static level 20 adventure. While Night Fae had
easy strategies
, and Necrolord heroes were considered strong in general, the Kyrian and Venthyr covenants in particularly struggled quite a bit with the level scaling missions, finding themselves unable to ever get their heroes ahead enough in order to achieve victory.
We can see it's still no cakewalk for members of the Kyrian covenant however, with most of the success stories featuring level 24-29 heroes in order to overcome the level 20 mission - something that seems to be a recurring trend for Kyrian and Venthyr players; my own Venthyr team only barely completed it with an average level 25. The way I plan is to hit specific troops with as many of mine as possible.
2 of my companions aim for the furthest enemy... So they both get put on the right or the left so they both focus back left or back right enemy. The one with more hp front row.
Kleia with her hit back when hit sits front and centre. Meatball alongside front on the empty side, leaving the last, think it's pelagos at the back on the other side.
This knocks out enemies the fastest and this is key. It's not about total damage it's about focussing that damage on specific enemies so they are gone asap and not hurting you.
Different setups require some adjustment but that's the basic approach. Just use the hover over thing to see who they are going to attack.
Another redditor managed to defeat a level 31 version of

using a slightly under leveled team, but provided precious few details aside from their own hero composition.
