Castle Nathria Boss Timer and Cooldown Spreadsheet for Exorsus Raid Tools
11.01.2021 в 01:53
There are a lot of raid helping addons, from Deadly Boss Mods, Big Wigs, community created Weak Auras, and more, but one thing that none of them really do is explicitly coordinate raid cooldowns for major mechanics. Typically, these addons warn you when something is about to happen, but doesn't tell you how to handle it as a group. To help ease this burden, Viserio of the world third guild <Pieces> has created a
raid cooldown spreadsheet
for Castle Nathria, which group leaders can import into
Exorsus Raid Tools
to share cooldown notes with the rest of their raid.
The spreadsheet, and what you'll see in game when using Exorsus Raid Tools
Save a copy of Viserio's google docs spreadsheet to setup your own raid boss cooldowns!
The sheet itself is highly customizable, allowing you to plug in which healers you have, what cooldowns are available, and assign them to different abilities using a handy drop down menu. Once you have everything setup, simply copy the green column marked ERT Note and paste it into Exorsus Raidtools Note section to share with the rest of your team! Everything is explained in the Welcome tab of the spreadsheet to make it as easy as possible.
The spreadsheet is customizable, so you can plug in your specific group compositions and assign cooldowns accordingly
There's plenty of room for power users to customize further though. Commenters have pointed out that further functionality could be added, such as using
to count down for each ability, although because boss timers aren't exact timings it might not be the best solution for every encounter. Viserio has already added these for a few encounters, so expect more improvements over time. Later encounters have an alarming amount of abilities though, so bloat is definitely a concern, although
can be used so that not every player will see notes which don't pertain to them.
Using tags to setup dynamic timers, which count down the time to each ability, turning the line gray once that timer has elapsed
While it takes some setting up, this is a great raid coordination tool for getting all of your healers on the same page, and the spreadsheet itself can be a handy reference, even if you aren't using the EXRT Notes function to display it in game.
