Analysis of the Mythic Azshara Nerfs - How Big Are These Nerfs?

Blizzard recently announced some Mythic Azshara nerfs, but many people are unsure on how this will affect the strategy due to some unclear numbers. In this post, we'll look at how much "5 points" more on the wards actually matters and how this will affect the overall strategy.
Notes
These are all the upcoming Mythic Azshara nerfs. We assume that the Ancient Ward and Ward of Power are mixed up in the notes because otherwise that would be a buff to the fight.
Blizzard
Overzealous Hulk and Tidemistress health reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
Draining Azshara's Ancient Ward now reduces its energy by an additional 5 points in all difficulties.
Empowering a

now increases its energy by an additional 5 points in all difficulties.
Healer-specialization characters are now less likely to be targeted with decree combinations that include “March!” in all difficulties.

Ward Change Analysis - "What does 5 points mean?"
We'll start with the Ward nerf, because that's the most confusing change for players and the biggest change.
The first question when discussing wards is to figure out exactly does "5 points" mean per Ward. How much do players and Azshara adjust wards right now? The answer is

We've seen many different numbers thrown out, but Blizzard has 16 listed as the Mythic rate back during the World First Race. This when was

. For players, you can see that players adjust wards at the same rate as Queen Azshara or do some math when comparing values to Queen Azshara's

, and doing the math works out to be about 16 points per soak.
Draining Azshara's Ancient Ward now reduces its energy by an additional 5 points in all difficulties.

This nerf now makes it so that players will empower Ancient Wards or Drain Azshara's Ward by
21 points
. Before, 1 player would keep a ward neutral with Queen Azshara near it, you will now only need 1 person to cause a ward to gain energy, even if Azshara is near it.
Ward Change - Strategy
So how exactly does this Ward Change affect the strategy? The majority of the raid will have at more health at all points in the fight, significantly reducing the lethality of the encounter.
Let's go over some numbers.
Before the nerf, the common strategy was to have the majority of your raiders soak 5 stacks of

worth of Wards. After the nerf, without any other change, it will only take
4 stacks
to soak 80 points of wards.
If you have a strategy already, players will still be able to soak at the same time and location, except everyone will just soak one less stack.

, players 10% more health which is about 40k more health to work with at a appropriate level. This will make Phase 3 a lot safer, especially with the

combos. If the raid accidentally leaves a couple of stacks in Azshara's Ward of Power, you have an extra health buffer to try to work your way through it.
While Phase 3 is rather deadly and much safer with one less stack after the hotfix, Phase 4 is rather safe. If players want to be safe on their Ward health, or have had trouble Pressure Surging in the last phase in the past, your raid may choose to continue soaking 5+ stacks in the last phase. If you do this, your Ward health will be much healthier than before due to the hotfix, making the last Phase much easier.
If you, have a raider who just can't seem to dodge the

Some background numbers:
Each ward contains ~60 soaks (~960 points).

It's hard to tell whether or not this nerf is small or a very large change because of the ambiguity of "10% less energy".
If the 10% is referencing 10% of the amount drained, then this change is small.
A 10% nerf will make

This is a reduction of 2.4 soaks per

If the 10% is referencing 10% less overall value of the Ancient Ward, then this is a very large change.
A 10% nerf will make

Part of the reason that this second reason is so massive is that by reducing the drain to 30% of a ward, that means you can find all 3

So either there will be 7 or 18 less soaks required in the last phase and we'll find out which one it is on Tuesday. It'll be easier, but exactly how much we're not exactly sure.
Other Nerfs - Analysis
Overzealous Hulk and Tidemistress health reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
The Overzealous Hulk nerf is nice for guilds who are just starting on Queen Azshara progression, but once guilds start progressing further in the fight, you generally are holding DPS and waiting for the Divide and Conquer beam to drop and can pool everything for the Overzealous Hulk.
The Tidemistress health on the other hand is a much larger nerf. The Tidemistress' have already had their health reduced once before in a previous nerf, as the DPS check was quite tight and required careful cooldown management. This once again relaxes this DPS check further, and combined with the Ward soaking change makes Phase 3 easier.
Healer-specialization characters are now less likely to be targeted with decree combinations that include “March!” in all difficulties.
This change will make the Intermissions more consistent. During the second Intermission, the entire raid should have the

debuff. Those who soak an Arcane Orb, combined with all the orbs exploding does enough damage to kill a player without healing. Depending on how many healers have the March debuff, you can have some pulls where no healers are able to plant and heal, compared to others where all of your healers are able to stand still. Now that healers are less likely to be targeted, this will make the intermission more consistent with at least some of your healers likely being able to plant and heal.

While a nice change, this doesn't have a large impact on the fight on Mythic difficulty. 5 extra seconds per buff may cause a 1% wipe to be a kill for a couple guilds, but overall, it's just a little extra DPS you can squeeze out when you get the buff.
Conclusion
The Azshara nerfs mostly focus on Ward Soaking, with a small nerf to the DPS check only in Phase 3, the hardest phase. You'll still have to learn to deal with all the mechanics, but the fight is much more lenient now. It's a lot harder to Pressure Surge in the last phase, even missing some Ward Soaks and players will have more health to deal with the mechanics allowing for some mistakes.
There is one thing to watch out for though, and that's players are now draining faster than Azshara can empower a Ward. If a Ward is empty and Azshara puts 16 points into a Ward, and a player immediately tries to drain 21 points, they bottom out and will probably get a stack but won't get their full quota, meaning when they reach 4 stacks, they haven't soaked all their points. Basically, be careful when soaking a full Yellow Ward or empty Blue ward. However, with all the other nerfs to the Wards, this probably won't matter in the long run as it will only really occur in Phase 2 and very specific sections of Phase 3 where you want the ward to empty completely.
Guilds will still have to learn to deal with all of Phase 1, the
