Alliance Hall of Fame Still Open After Weekly Reset in NA

Even though the Alliance Hall of Fame was filled before the weekly reset, guilds on NA have reported that the Alliance Hall of Fame is still open and the achievement can still be obtained.

This week, a
massive set of nerfs
were applied to Mythic Jailer making it much easier than before. The Alliance Hall of Fame was filled

which should have meant that the Hall of Fame was closed on the weekly reset. However, based on reports from NA guilds, Alliance guilds might have a full extra week to get the

achievement and title, while also having a significantly weaker boss from the nerfs.

Why is the Hall of Fame still open? Is this intentional by Blizzard or a mistake?
