A Look at Changes with Sundancer from Hotfixes - Increased Drop Rate for Glider Owners

Last week Blizzard mentioned change about how

loot works in their hotfixes. Now, with a week of data observing drops, the community has figured out what the changes entailed.
Fixed an issue where eligible players could fail to receive the
Солнечный Танцор
mount in
Бастион
after completing the event.
This change made was so the person using the
Облачный планер
has a
very high
chance to get the mount. This chance was likely intended to be 100%, but there have been a few reports of some players not receiving the mount after using the glider, so there might be small bug with it still present. The loot range has also been increased as long as you have tagged the boss, likely to prevent players that die and release from not getting loot. Thanks to Kelly for compiling this information.
How to Obtain Sundancer?

is a rare mob that flies at the southern tip of Bastion, near the Aspirant's Crucible. Normally, you can't engage Sundancer in combat. To change that, a player must obtain a

and the
Благословение солнечного всадника
buff. The buff is obtained at the Ancient Memorial, at 60.04 93.97 in Bastion.
Only one person needs to have the
Облачный планер
to bring the rare down. After that, everyone can tag the rare and loot it. It is recommended to bring a group as the rare hits fairly hard.
Defeating the rare is required for
Искатель приключений в Бастионе
. When killing the rare, there's a chance it will drop
Солнечный Танцор
, but the mount is not a guaranteed drop.

While riding it rapidly press

extra button. You keep getting damaged while riding the rare, so dont waste your time.

will calm down, it carries you to the spot where you have obtained the

. You will get

achievement as well.
Now you can talk to rare and accept its challenge. The fight starts, rare is tough. Bring its hp down to 10% to pass the challenge.
Warning:
If not engaged within 5 minutes from being dragged down, Sundancer will despawn
