Явная ошибка в описании - враги очень редко поражаются громом, и гораздо чаще - замораживаются льдом.

Очень красивое оружие, особенно подходит шаманам. На мой взгляд,
этот сет
отлично сочетается с данными пушками в обеих руках.

I got this mace for my shaman today, looks wicked, does some nice damage, look out for the cc-breaking-tastic "on hit". Don't use this near CC-ed mobs or neutral ones...

Proc effect has a thunderclap animation. It makes the weapon a mini-thunderfury. :)

any idea on threat gen from the proc?

Woot Mini Thunderfury! yeah!

This mace is very good it dose a lot of damage and is fast for the damage that it dose and it slows the targets weapon speed down just like the warriors attack.
I loved it when I used it in my 40s. (=

Metalwraith
Works great up to late 40's. Attack speed is a little slow, but DPS is still decent. Coupled with windfury weapon and flurry on an Enhancement shaman, makes for decent damage. Proc is useful too.
Комментарий от
Poplocket
It took a little bit to adjust to positioning mobs so a Thunderclap proc wouldn't break a sap or a blind. The 8 yard radius on the effect means that you can hit a mob with the thunderclap, even if you couldn't hit them in melee.
Комментарий от
Poplocket
I'm assuming it would be the equivalent if you hit all the effected mobs with a 7point melee hit. The effects don't mention a threat increase, unlike the warrior ability by the same name.

Is this proc affected by Stormstrike?
Комментарий от

This is one of the better maces for the level for a rogue: slow speed, high top end damage, and a decent proc.

Got this today on my enhancement shaman...only have one complaint. When the thunderclap on the weapon procs it uses up one of my stormstrike charges.
Комментарий от

Only problem I have with this weapon is make sure you don't use it in Zul'Farrak. Those scarabs aggro if hit with the proc, could mean a wipe if you were actually in the scarab room.
Комментарий от
Golite
But then again, your Stormstrike would deal a whole lot more damage with a 2.7 speed weapon than a 2.0 speed weapon, assuming same level.
Having a 2.0 speed weapon equipped (be it main- or offhand) would severely lower your DPS, even if it reduces your Windfury "downtime" by a marginal amount
Комментарий от
105332
It was never possible for you to use up both stormstrike charges off the same ss anyways, so it shouldn't be any biggie.
Комментарий от
111433
Having slow weapons as an enhancement shaman is far better then having fast weapons. You may get more Windfury procs but they won't do nearly as much damage as with slower weapons.

Do Chance on hit procs on weapons work on druids when in animal form? Will it proc?

This weapon is truly overrated in my opinion.
Shamans
: Yes it's slow and have a great amount of damage, tho it will burn 1 point of the stormstrike debuff as its proc and you can find a better one with stats. Tho I would say you could use it as a upgrade from a smaller amount of damage weapon as ~40-80ich.
Rogues
: Would be nice for SS/hemo, tho the proc is... kinda nice too but it would give small amount of aggro in grouping, that could be a little problem.
Warriors
: Kinda same as the the Rogues tho fury build with flurry and WW and so on. Tho you could get better.
I'd say go with a
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=13027#
or a
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=1721#
as DPS.
Tanking
: Proc would give some +in getting aoe aggro, tho this weapon is slow so it's worthless.

Since its a 5% proc chance. If you were to have 2 of them, as in duel wielding. Would that make it 10% proc chance? or how would that work?

Archim:
Each weapon on its own would have a 5% chance, no matter how you cut it. So if you say, Stormstrike with two of them, each weapon has a 5% chance of triggering, but that doesn't make it equal to 10% of triggering; You might have 5 out of 100 strikes on one of them, and 20 out of 100 on the other, it's all about luck and the maximum amount of procs it can have per minute.
Were we to ponder on the percentage of having them both proc at the same time when using the Stormstrike on the other hand, it can be solved by simple mathematics.
0.05*0.05=0.0025
Meaning that there is a 0.25% chance for both weapons to proc at once. This wasn't part of the original question, but I just felt like mentioning it.

Since you're a paladin, you deal threat based on holy dmg, of which there is none to get at this stage, lest you wish to enchant spelldmg onto a weapon.
It's quite ok for tanking I guess due to the thunderclap effect, although the less they attack, the less chances of blocking you will have.
Were I to lvl up again and look for a tanking weapon specifically, I'd most likely go for
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9379
It's not a great sword really, but one of the better you can get at this point in the game.

Please note people. While there is only a 5% proc chance, this SLOW weapon speed means you will actually proc more often. I've been using it on my warrior since hitting 43 and proc several times in a row every fight. There has not been a fight where it -hasn't- proced.

To dispel any myths about this item, I submitted a screenshot of my combat log to show that this
does not
consume Stormstrike charges.
Either Blizz changed this, or there was some conspiracy by warriors and rogues to keep this out of shaman hands! :3
It was a simple test, really. Just hit something with Stormstrike and don't use any nature spells. As you can see, the weapons proc'd three times before Stormstrike dissipated.
Still, I wouldn't use this if you intend to level the hard way (i.e. in dungeons with equal level participants = aggro magnet / c.c. breaker), but it's a nice couple of maces to solo with.

I do not believe that this weapon has an internal cooldown for the AoE effect. As an enhancement shaman, it has procced back to back on weapon swings, windfury attacks, and stormstrike casts. I believe that the more hits are generated, the higher chance it has to occur, so this weapon is best in the hands of a class that can generate multiple weapon swings from an ability, like a shaman's windfury or a protection paladin's reckoning talent.

The lack of stats doesnt make this that attractive imo.

As of 4.0.3a, (possibly earlier) the thunderclap effect stacks with the warrior thunderclap effect making this pretty nice for warriors as well. This mace procs often and the mitigation it offers alone makes it a worthy tank weapon for its level.
Комментарий от
Chifen
The thunderclap effect does not have any cooldown, may occur several times in succession.

This item seems very good for warrior tanks who can get it at this level.
Let me explain:
First of all it is an extra aoe for threat holding.
Second it stacks (or at least it shows both debuffs) with thunderclap so together its a combined 31% attack speed reduc.
And third it procs
so it refreshes your rend on targets so say if you missed thunderclap or even allows you to spend your rage on some other ability if you are being starved.
It misses out on having 0 stats but overall I think the unique mechanics make this weapon slightly better.

Buffed in 7.3.5. Now has stats, a proc that actually deals damage (was 7 before), and no longer has a target limit for its proc (was 4). It scales very, very well on large trash packs, and the attack speed debuff helps your tanks.
