Хищник vs Смертокрыла :)
Таурены в нем особенно эпично смотрятся. Точно как хищник.
Decently (not perfectly) itemized for boomkins and trees alike, but the socket bonus is lamentable.
Drops off Daakara in Zul'Aman.
Has anyone actually seen this drop yet? I'm worried it got yanked from the loot table at the last second.
For resto druids this item compares poorly to
if used in 25m raids.
Here is the comparisson:
After you equip the relevant gems you'll see that the gain in Int is underwelming, this item gives you 'just' +11int and spirit wise you only gain +3spirit over
What you do lose out on is 162 haste -swapped for 185 mastery- .
The loss in haste is hefty, and if you were tuned around haste-breakpoints you are going to be hardpressed to fix them though other means (like gemming / enchants) if you equip this item.
It isn't all that bad in 10mans or Heroics however, as mastery in these settings is much more valued.
Also, a nice item for ppl who care more about the color than numbers.
If I recall right, crit becomes a good stat for druid healers in 25, spirit isn't important and mastery could be valuable or not depending on how you heal.
So it's just diffrent than the stars helm, not just pain better, nor worst by any mean.
Mastery is worse than haste if the Resto Druid is under the 2005 haste breakpoint. However, if you can manage to be over that break point without the
Cluster of Stars
, then this helm is awesome.
Itemization? Socket bonuses? PFFT!
If you're a restoration druid, you should wear this because mobs will be laughing so hard when they see you that they'll forget to hit the tank.
If you're a balance druid, you should wear this because it'll drastically improve how good you look. Also, enemies laughing themselves sick when they catch sight of you leaves them vulnerable to your
I enabled my helm graphic when I got this and I haven't stopped laughing yet. Best leather caster hat in the game.
This finally dropped for me today. I started tracking 32 runs ago, when I thought it was odd I hadn't seen it drop. The chance that the drop rate is actually 0.15 with 31 fails and 1 success is 32*0.85^31*0.15=0.031. I.e the drop rate may be lower than 0.15, given that sample size. In other words, don't be disappointed when you run this seven times and don't see it drop.
Is there anyone who could tell me what the screenshot shoulders are? Thinking about making a Transmog set.
