These gloves are great to get your LW skill up, but don't use them for anything else. Just vendor them and move on.

It's interesting that unlike the other "Guardian" pieces of armor from leatherworking have intellect and spirit on them while these gloves are white with no stats...a bit sad for my druid's resto set for instance healing.

Several lower-level items crafted by leatherworkers have received major changes to make them more appealing.
Looks like this one was included...I guess they forgot to make it uncommon quality to match the stats.

These now provide
63 armor
+8 Int
Equip: Increases spell power by 8.
They're still "white" though.

Patch 3.2 will correctly label these as green (uncommon) quality.
