What is the deal with Blizzard putting hit rating on EVERYTHING? I'm a Feral Druid with 525 hit rating and can't get away from it because the upgrades are too good to pass up just because it has hit on it. Dang it, Blizzard. -_-

Actually i made full top geared feral druid and there s lack of hit on top items, so got to upgrade hit with gems insted upgrading other stats. But having 14k dps on Sim. Craft is awesome...

Is this bugged on wowhead? when i try to compare this weapon it show no stats at all. Making any weapon better than this when i use the "Find an upgrade" feature

Edit: well it is, dont downrate it until they have fixed it.

Sadly....this thing is kind of ugly. Not as cool as you'd expect for a high level staff. I guess it doesn't really matter when you're shape-shifted anyways....but still.

Just got this on my hunter and I gotta say I'm a little disappointed, I used my dps analyzer and I lose 50dps by using it instead of Archon Glaive. I'm already way over hit cap, but, then again, I'm still stuck with the terribad Pyrite Infuser >.>

There seem to be a lot of people complaining that this staff drops their dps, because they're already hit capped. Well...duh! You're essentially throwing away 88 stat points on the weapon. Despite the ilevel and better 'gear score', this weapon is only an upgrade if you can afford to gain 88 hit rating without going over the cap.

Personally I'm facing a glut of gear with hit rating at the moment so this staff works great for me. I threw scourgebane on it because I recognize that it's unlikely I can afford to hold onto a weapon with so much hit rating without gimping the rest of my gear, and scourgebane is a crazy cheap enchant (and superior for ICC).
