Меч мог бы заиметь свою историю, стать частью коллекции клинков тесно связанных с плетью! Если бы:
1.Изменили дизайн. Убрать лёд с лезвия, убрать расширение в середине, изменить кончик. Таким образом у нас был бы клинок более приятного дизайна и внушительного внешнего вида.
2.Если бы разработчики не поленились переместить его в более внушительное место, привязать к более или менее интересному боссу, хотя на самом деле это вовсе не обязательно.
3.Ну и добавить не плохую историю. Банальная подпись под статами на подобии "Король создал его для своего самого верного рыцаря" или "Выкован для десницы короля". Ну что то в этом духе.
В итоге мы могли бы иметь ещё один очень популярный меч!

Уникальный дизайн

As a DK tank who has had this drop twice but lost it to a ret paladin and a arms warrior. I would like to ask that those classes actually have a look at the stats first.

It has a bunch of Stamina. Its not for DPSers. They are better off with the Mace from PoS or the Axe from ToC.

Edit: After 19 Runs I finally got this. There was a fury warrior in the group, but they were clever and realised that Edge of Ruin was better for them.

Maybe this has already been pointed out but isn't it odd that a sword called Mourning Malice has a smiley face on it?

I decided to kick it old school and throw executioner on it, the submitted shot should be up reasonably soon. This is an excellent sword for getting raid-prepared if you are starving for expertise or are far from the cap.

Beautiful design on this weapon, plus some nice stats for my tanking Death Knight... The only shame is that the Death Knight in question is a Blood Elf female, which means this doesn't look as much as a two-handed sword as a one-hander.

to be honest, I'd pick Marrostrike over this
for my crappy dk tank, I already capped expertise with my armor so I don't really need that 73 on this one
I'd much rather have that 103 agility on Marrostrike for some extra dodge

Just won this, I rolled against 2 other.
One was a TG Warr with EoR and Titansteel Dest.
The other was a surv hunter with Silvery Sylvan Stave... WTF?

Seriously, I understand the warrior, but a hunter? Expertise? Str? Jesus Christ huntard.

This weapon is surprisingly small on a female night elf. Don't know if it is so for all races or not but I was ... surprised.

yes im starving expertise
im currently using tyranical beheader from last boss in PoS and I dont know if I should switch to this, since it has an amazing boost of exp on it. I am a casual player who pug sometimes and and I experience some threat issues when tanking gormok or tovaron 25 alongside with war/pally because i only have 17 expertise. I ve been trying to get the sword from ony for past few weeks but never seen it drop yet. what would you fellow dk tanks advise me to do?

My DK loves this sword for tanking; gives you tons of stamina, a nice amount of expertise, all that strength yields close to 1.5% chance to parry, and you can get some pretty nice crits on your strikes for increased ST hate.

The drop rate on this has to be more then 4%. I've run this over two dozen times just tonight trying to get the bow, and this has been 100% drop each time. I'm really sick of seeing it in that chest at this point.

I went crazy on Forge of Souls/Pit of Saron/Halls of Reflection runs today and was able to assemble the entire Scourgelord's Frigid Battleplate set and nab this sword as well. Love it, but it needs to be just a bit longer; it looks like a one-hander.

haven't seen anyone mention it yet but this sword goes amazingly well with the Magma Plated Battlearmor
