I brought this for 30g for my rogue on Terenas(US) auction house.

The truth is, this isn't as valuable as people think it is.
The population of Fishermen on our server dramatically increased when the "Rewards" for fishing came. Now, with the new sea turtle, there will be 4-5 of stormjewels of each kind on the AH.

Another addition, you can only equip one stormjewel, therefore - lowering the value of this.

Edit : The seller of the jewel is angry at me, apparently he made a typo and put it for 30g instead of 300g. They're already used, so too bad :(

Yeh I got one of these a while back from the daily and sold it on the AH for 600g, also in the same daily bag was the worthless painting or what ever which vendors for 25g, so from 1 daily I made 625g ^^

This dropped from the fishing daily last night for me. Thought about sticking it in the AH, but since I am not hit-capped just yet I stuck it in my Titanium Spellshock Necklace. I took the hit on the +4 Intell bonus for having it gemmed to get the + hit rating.. Figured I would have the necklace the longest of the rest of my gear...

In the bag also was some Deviate fish, a Velociraptor Skull and 5 Pygmy oils.

Can someone explain why this tends to cost 500g on the AH but the Rigid King's Amber, which provides the exact same stats and is not unique-equipped, always costs around 200g? Who the hell is supporting the Rigid Stormjewel racketeering?
