The mats for this I found very easy to get hold of. Chunk o' Mammoth is plentiful on the AH, and Rockfin Grouper is usually very cheap as it isn't used to create a buff food.

I had to fish up many Monsterbelly, but you can use this recipe to level cooking skill to maximum, and it stays yellow! :D

Also be aware that vendors give 1g each per feast. So all that effort didn't go to waste if you don't really like the 'fun' buff.

It's a good way to level up your cooking, as all other recipes besides Small Feast are green at 425 cooking.

That's pretty much it. All other recipes are green at 425, and turn grey at 450, so you could cook hundreds of dishes (and use hundreds of Northern Spices) to get those last few skill points. Gigantic Feast and Small Feast provide a novelty buff, and they can't be traded because they're Soulbound; mostly they're just a way to level up faster and without using as many Spices.

This has been said before, but it bears repeating: the "Hugely Well Fed" buff from this dish will override any existing "Well Fed" buffs you may have.

Does a party member have to be at least level 70 to be effected by the buff?

Note that the fish for Small Feast requires considerably lower skill to catch. This is a harder way to level up your cooking.

Here is a list of growth effects - these used to stack but were disabled around patch 3.1 to only reflect one growth buff at most:

Edit: it appears that Transporter Malfunction from the engineering trinket Ultrasafe Transporter: Toshley's Station will stack with the others. I'm not sure why these stack but the others don't.

i dropped one of these today with an elixir of giant growth and bloodlust, i think the size thing might have been nerfed because i didn't get very big :(

First time I had someone use it in a raid, I wasn't able to use it, because clicking did not work. Are you supposed to click on it? Does it have limited charges? Anyone who can answer will be greatly appreciated :)

Amusingly fitting, the Pandaren racial Эпикуреизм affects the size buffs from both this and the Пир для карликов . . . meaning the Gigantic Feast will enlarge you by 60% when eaten instead of 30%. My Pandaren Monk swelled up like a balloon as he ate this. >.>
