Does anyone know, if you destroy this tabard, can you buy either red or blue summer tabard from the Tabard Vendor? I tried this trick with the Purple Trophy Tabard of the Illidari and I was able to then buy the Green Trophy Tabard of the Illidari. Which counted as 2 tabards for the 25 Tabard achievement.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but currently it seems impossible to do the tabard quest again during Midsummer Festival 2009 to get the second tabard (the quest item will just not drop for you if you did it in 2008), so you cannot own both tabards at the same time.

However, you can still do the trick described above (as of 3.1.3) and change your tabard by destroying your current one and choosing the other one from the tabard vendor. So at one time, you can own either http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35279 or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35280 but never both at the same time.

If you destroy one of them and get the other does it then count as two tabards for http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=1021 achievement?

Strangely enough, I did not get credit for 25 tabards with this one - I had 23 when I got it, but it only listed me as having 22. I also did the exchange trick with this and the Illidari tabards, and it gave me credit for the exchange to the Summer Flames one, but it does not credit me for the original. So now I'm one short.

destroying this tabard and going to a tabard vendor in order to get the tabard yoou did not choose is confirmed in patch 3.3!

With the introduction of Void Storage, it is now possible to own both Tabard of Summer Skies and Tabard of Summer Flames at the same time.

- Put the tabard that you already have in the Void storage.
- Go to the Tabard vendor and say that you lost the other kind.

When you go back to the Void storage, you will see that your original tabard is still there. You can even have both at the same time in your inventory now.

This tabard and it's counterpart Гербовая накидка летнего пламени have a lower neckline then most other tabards, which shows mostly on female characters.

Confirmed as of 5.3 I Just did the trick and got both of them.

This tabard compliments Paladin tier 7.5, Доблестные регалии искупления, very well! It is by far my favourite tabard to go with this set.

With the Wardrobe coming in Patch 7.0, you can have both another way. As long as you have an alt with each of the different tabards (Summer Flames on one alt, Summer Sky on another), once you learn them into your Wardrobe, you will have both available on all your toons, and you'll be that much closer to the 25 tabards achievement.

Дублет с лазурной филигранью matches the color of this tabard almost perfectly. I use it with Field Plate armor and it looks amazing.
