Well either it WAS gonna be ZA drop and they changed their minds, OR it might be a possible item if you clear ZA fast enough as well as being available as badge rewards. Reason this might be a possibility is because there is a screenshot of someone rolling for the resilience cloak that you can get with badges on mmochamp.

It seems that Blizzard is favoring the melee classes on this patch. The only reason that I say that is because the majority of the items that I've seen (this plus the 1.5 speed sword, among others) are kindof-sortof filling in holes that were left between Gruul's Lair and the beginning of SSC / TK. I'm very pleased.

I would have to say yes, Because the only way you could come close to that kind of strength in destroyer is to go all out strength, like an epic 10 str gem, with a 24 AP meta, which still only brings the destroyer to 69. However, with set bonuses and chants, it could be better. It's all in how much work you intend to do to make sure your destroyer helmet gets the set bonuses, and if you're not willing to work that hard (me! :P) You probably will never get a 5 set. I'm not saying that there are people out there who haven't worked bloody hard, I'm just saying that this piece, not being in a set and sort of being on its own, 75 Badges of Justice is MUCH easier to get than 5 pieces of SSC/TK gear. This is not the helm you would want to use for tanking. While hit is a decent stat for tanking, and it offers a nice amount of stamina with three sockets, this is not an ideal choice. It offers no real benefit to your tank set other than stamina and hit.

This is more a fury helm and very good one at that.

If you socketed it with +8 strength as suggested above you'd gain 140 attack power, with 2% hit.

If you socketed it with a mixture, maybe +4 strength/ +4 crit, and two +8 crits you'd be looking at a very solid helm with all the fury stats you'd be looking for.

50 Str = 100 AP
51 Stam
2% hit
and 20 crit rating which is almost 1% crit.

Compared to the Destroyer Battle-Helm
46 str = 92 AP
24 AP meta = 116 AP
Say you socketed with a +8 str = 132 AP
1.33 hit
1.63 crit

The Destroyer Battle-Helm is probably better, but considering the T5 Helm is from Vashj and the Amani is from Badges, its not hard to say which to go for if you don't have access to Tier 5.

Great helmet for fury warriors in general 33 hit rating (41 with a blue gem) is a blessing considering theres only a single dps plate item in Kara.

keep in mind if your a tank and you want to boost your threat, the hit on this helm along with the strength will help you out tremendously. with three sockets you could stack star of elunes in this would have 87 stamina before any buffs including warrior/tauren/pally bonus'.

If anyone cares about looks, an 'unofficial' set can be made with this item and others found collectively in Zul'Aman and by being purchased with Badge of Justice from G'eras in Shattrath City.

These are the items:

Amani Mask of Death - 75 Badges
Bloodthirster's Wargreaves - 75 Badges
Chain of Unleashed Rage - 60 Badges
Eternium Rage-Shackles - 35 Badges
Furious Deathgrips - 60 Badges
Pauldrons of Gruesome Fate - 60 Badges

A total of 365 Badges to purchase the 6 pieces.

Skullshatter Warboots - Dropped by Halazzi in Zul'Aman
Bloodstained Elven Battlevest - Dropped by Akil'zon in Zul'Aman

The 'unofficial set' grants you the following stats:
9,242 armor
310 Strength
339 Stamina
133 Hit Rating
64 Crit Rating
619 Armor Reduction
5 Red Sockets, 4 Blue Sockets, and 3 Yellow Sockets. Assuming all sockets are socketed to met the socket bonuses, an extra 6 Stamina, 7 Strength, 3 Hit Rating, and 2 Crit Rating are awarded.

It may just be me, but does anybody else just want to yell, " IMMA CHARGIN MAH LAZER!!" when they wear this?

I'm a pre-kara Arms warrior and this whole set looks great, as I haven't hit the hit cap yet. I'm currently using the season one PvP helm, socketed with 24+Ap and movement speed as well as 8+ hit. Should I get this piece first or is there a particular order that is best to persue?

With only 3 pieces of BoJ gear, you can reach 96 hit rating, which is the "soft cap" for warriors with 3/3 Presicion Talent.

lol, i am actually thinking of running heroics just for this, and for my 70 dk! above all this helm kicks major ass, even without the gem bonuses, perfect for a dk, and i could give it 3 blue - 24 stam gems, look at that. 72 MORE stam, from 3 single sockets, or just 1 blue gem with 16-24 Ap gems, this is as good as engineering goggles, i would love this.

As of patch 4.0.1, this helmet costs 390 justice points.
I have no idea why it costs justice points, when all of the level 70 emblems got converted to gold.

There's an 'unofficial' DPS and Tank set in Zul'Aman you can collect if you are looking for matching armor. Sadly it is not a tier set, but cosmetically these pieces go together.
