Even still this is a ridiculous weapon for warriors and shamans. Its the equivalent of http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32332 though may be somewhat harder to acquire because of who it drops from, the drop rate is almost identical. Some might also consider it an equivalent to the much harder to acquire Cataclysm's Edge http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30902 which drops from Archimonde, but like I said its much harder to get so Its strength is 10 higher, dps is 8 higher and its equip bonus is 20 higher, however is stamina is still 14 less which is still a noticable amount. In the case of humans (+5 sword and mace skill) and orcs (+5 axe skill) then their racial weapon should be used.

Even if it did it would still suck. The armour reduction is very small, and this axe has no other things on it a hunter would want. Even the old Lok'Delar is vastly superior.
Get a grip.

Retribution Paladins should look forward to this weapon if they haven't already picked up Jin'rohk, or something better from the near end of Hyjal or Black Temple (CE, or the Torch).

While the stats don't include any haste or critical strike, the strength and the armor penetration (coupled with Executioner on this item) should be phenomenal for DPS.

I'm my guild's Arms Warrior and I will let our Ret Pally take this before I do. (Both of us have Jin'rohk right now.) Honestly, I might just pass on it completely, as poleaxe is inferior to swords for PvE and I honestly I prefer maces or swords for PvP too.

Wow...if a warrior ever comes along with one of these in AV or EOTS...the casters are gonna be in trouble. Armor Reduction does more against targets with lower armor to begin with so mages are gonna be hit hard by this one.

as of 3.0.2 this axe is no longer a very good weapon for shaman, granted it's still a great axe, but getting only 65 ap from the strength means there are better weapons available.

I have this weapon and as a pally I find this veryy effective for pvp and battlegrounds. Other than the pally or hunter I would find this a little pointless for a shammy or Druid.

I'd say this is good for a warrior for temporary use until you get better it has perfect stats, good dmge.But lacks crit rate and is pretty slow

Many think hunter weapon immediatly but it's obviously a Saurfang weapon, I mean who else holds the power to cleave souls?

Looks really good with Destroyer Battlegear on Warrior. Haven't found any better looking weapon to match the set.
